The Ateneo Center for Culture and the Arts (ACCA) welcomes you to
the world of theatre!

The ACCA, formerly

known as the Center for
Performing and Visual
Arts, opens its theatre
season with the
Chavacano Musical
entitled NADIA: Un
Musical Chavacano.
The center together with
Te a t r o A t e n e o d e
Zamboanga, the resident
theatre organization of
ACCA, have prepared a
poignant and entertaining
stage play that will sure
warm the hearts and,
hopefully, inspire the
audience.

VISION!
The Ateneo Center for Culture and the Arts is a leader-partner
in sustainable cultural stewardship and artistic development in
Western Mindanao.!

It envisions to create and sustain a community of engaged and

collaborative artist-advocates for social transformation sharing
a common spiritual vision of a new Mindanao.!

OUR COMMITMENT!
We commit ourselves to creating, strengthening, and
sustaining an environment where creativity, innovativeness,
and critical thinking are encouraged among the students,
faculty, staff, and partner communities of ADZU, through the
integration of culture and arts in curricular and extracurricular
activities.!

Funding from groups like yours is what makes our season possible.
Only about 60% of our costs are covered by ticket sales, the
remaining 40% comes from individual donations and sponsorships.
The ACCA and Teatro Ateneo believe in the power of the arts to
revitalise and shape communities. Support from enthusiastic local
leaderships, positive attitudes from within and around the community,
local entrepreneurship support and investments like yours are what
we need to succeed.

Putting on a theatrical production is very

costly. The approximate cost of one stage
production (with approximately 3 playdates)
is PHP180,000. Most of that money comes
from private sponsorships from companies,
organizations, and people like yourself.
