Properties

CONPLAST WP10 is a powdered integral

waterproofing admixture for use in all cement based
mortars, screeds and concrete.

Unlimited in sealed containers

Compatibility with
cements:

Can be used with all Portland

cements, including sulphate
resisting and white cements.
Also compatible with cement
replacement materials.

Compatibility with
other admixtures:

Conplast WP10 must not be

premixed with other admixtures
before addition to the mix. When
added separately to the same
mix as other admixtures there
may be some effect on
preformace and Fosrocs
technical department should be
consulted prior to mix trials.

reinforced concrete or with sulphate

Instructions for use

Dosage

Typically 1.0 kg per 50 kg cement

(i.e. 2% by weight). Trials should
always be conducted to determine
the particular requirements for a
specific use.

Dispensing

Conplast WP10 should be added

directly to the mixer at the same
time as the cement, sand and other
aggregates. Do not pre-dissolve in
the water.

Curing

Normal curing methods such as

water spray, wet hessian or a curing
membrane if the CONCURE type
should be used.

Cleaning

Spillages should be removed by dry

brushing where possible. If water is
used care must be taken not to
leave a slippery film.

Overdosage

Overdosage may lead to a reduction

in concrete strength due to
increased air entrainment

Reduces efflorescence and pigment leaching from

cement mortar.
Description
CONPLAST WP10 is a free flowing white powder
based on organic fatty acid salts.
When added to a cement based mortar or concrete mix
CONPLAST WP10 blocks the natural pores in the mix,
thus reducing internal moisture movement. It also gives
to the mix hydrophobic qualities, which reduce moisture
penetration from the surrounding environment. This
combination of action reduces the effect of aggressive
chemicals and enhances durability.

Health & Safety

Conplast WP10 is non-toxic. Contact with skin or eyes
may cause mild irritation and should be avoided.
Remove material from skin or eyes by flushing with
water and seek medical advice
Storage
Ensure material is kept dry.
