What could your organisation accomplish with
access to all the intelligence that sits inside it?
In a time of constant change, success depends
on seeing the world through rookie eyes. We are
often at our best when we are doing something
for the first time. But how do you reclaim and
cultivate this curious, flexible and youthful mindset? Leaders who use their intelligence to amplify
the smarts and capabilities of the people around
them and inspire employees to stretch themselves
and get more from other people are Multipliers.

Success in business as in sports
comes from constant belief in
development, playing to win,

Combining business and sports,
Mark draws parallels between
the requirements of the high
performance, high-pressure
world of elite sport, and that of
any organisation.
Mark speaks about what it takes
to become an elite athlete whilst
relating the similarities to success
within business. He reflects on
teamwork, need for support
systems, learning from failures
and celebrating success.
Mark became the fastest
swimmer in the UK at the age of
15 and later one of the countrys
most successful swimmers. Mark
is a 6-time world champion, 10time european champion and
8-time world record holder,
including holding the 50m record
in both freestyle and butterfly
at the same time. He was
nominated by the rest of Team
GB to lead the team and carry
the Union Jack at the opening
ceremony of Beijing Olympics in
2008.
Marks award winning partnership
with Clare Balding from the
aquatics centre during the
Olympics in 2012, made him a
household name. Mark also cohosted the BBC coverage of the
World Swimming Championships
from Barcelona with Gabby

Innovative, contemporary assessments and strength-based approaches as well as predictive analytics are changing the
way we attract, motivate and retain our talent. They are simple, scalable, transparent and resource-efficient. Even though
companies have been using assessments for many decades, many of these may be outdated and not really achieving the expected
outcomes. This engaging masterclass will focus on sharing the latest thinking and practice of using assessments and talent analytics
across a wide array of situations, and also share real-life examples of how organisations are moving away from the traditional, onesize-fits-all model, towards a fully customised and flexible approach. Most importantly, it will give you practical solutions and insights
for you to implement within your organisation.

Make your People: a Talent Strategy for the complex Business World
Led by a former HR director, this hands-on masterclass will present you with tools that will help you align your talent
strategy to your business priorities. It will provide you with a greater understanding of what talent management is and
the key differences between having a global / regional and local talent strategies. Drawn from over 30 years in HR and leadership
roles and an upcoming book, Danny will demonstrate the key elements in having a successful talent strategy and will give you tools
and practical examples of how to identify employees with potential to move up into leadership roles. You will learn of different
ways to further develop your talent and recognise the importance of retention.
danny Kalman, Former Global Talent director at Panasonic, Executive coach and Talent Management consultant
There are two types of leaders. The Diminishers of talent and commitment who drain intelligence, energy and
capability from the people around them and always need to be the smartest people in the room. On the other side
of the spectrum are Multipliers who use their intelligence to amplify the smarts and capabilities of the people around them.
This masterclass experience will build on the core research findings from the Wall Street Journal bestselling book, and provide
practical tools and experiments that can be used in the workplace. There are five core practices that distinguish Diminishers from
Multipliers, each with its own unique set of tools linked to specific business needs. It will illustrate the resoundingly positive and
profitable effect Multiplier leaders have on organisations.
Hazel Jackson, Chief Executive Officer, Biz Group
In 2012, SHRM highlighted that organisation with formal recognition programmes experience 51% greater employee
retention. A scheme to reward and recognise employees for their contributions and outcomes helps reduce attrition,
boost employee morale, and increase business performance. This hands-on masterclass will enable you to understand how
motivation works, identify the factors influencing engagement and retention, and find out what the Employee Value Proposition can
include. You will then start working on a formal recognition scheme specific to your organisation helping you design a programme
that will increase the engagement of your staff. Finally, you will leave with insights into practical elements to take into account to
ensure a perfect rollout so that your scheme reaches its full potential.
Sandrine Bardot, Managing director, The Bardot Group
Making the transition to an HR Business Partner within a shared service business model requires the development
and enhancement of very specific strategic skills. HR business partners are required to further refine their relationship skills,
communicate for impact, coach leaders, effectively facilitate discussions, and aligning initiatives with the organisations strategic
direction to drive business results. This masterclass will introduce the HR Business Partner consulting skills model and its tools
related to its effective implementation. A globally recognised SHRM certificate of completion will be awarded to all attendees upon
completion of the masterclass.
howard Wallack, Vice President - Global Business development, ShRM
For the first time in the GCC, this unique masterclass will introduce the emerging and converging fields of HR Metrics
and ISO HR standards. Metrics will be analysed across three levels focusing on compensation, HRD, employee relations and risk
management. ISO standard working projects are introduced and the underlying protocols and processes associated with HR
standard development will be outlined. Attendees will be among the first in the region to acquire a comprehensive understanding
of evidence-based HR analytics. A globally recognised SHRM certificate of completion will be awarded to all attendees upon
completion of the masterclass.
