A qualification in the field of Electronics, Electronics & Communication,
Instrumentation & Control. The relevant experience should be in teaching or
R&D or relevant product design /development in industry. Ability to
lead/guide a team in their respective areas of specialisation with very good
communication skill.
Selected candidates will be required work in the application areas of
Electronic Product Design related to Automotive Electronics/ Medical/
Industrial Electronics.

experience. Knowledge & Skill in Electronics Repair & Maintenance, PCB
fabrication, assembly & packaging will be preferred.

Knowledge and hands-on experience in PCB soldering, Lab equipment
maintenance and component inventory management.

NIELIT Chennai (Project Positions) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed Form only (online as well as hardcopy of
duly filled in form by post).
2. Applications received after the prescribed last date will not be considered. NIELIT Chennai
will not be responsible for any delay in postal transit.
3. No interim enquiry / correspondence whatsoever will be entertained regarding the
recruitment.
4. Incomplete applications are liable to be summarily rejected.
5. Candidates may be considered for appointment to lower position depending on suitability.
6. NIELIT Centre Chennai reserves the right to fill or not to fill the position advertised.
7. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
8. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
9. Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
10. The word equivalent in the case of S&T posts is designed to cover such degrees as
B.Sc.(Engg) or M.Sc.(Engg) or M.Sc.(Tech) or grade IETE or AMIE and equivalent will be
based on the nature of study leading to such degree.
11. For Age limit the Age as on last date of receipt of application will be calculated.
12. Number of Years of experience indicated for all post is after obtaining the eligibility
qualification for that post.
13. Application fees is Rs.100/- for General Candidates, Rs.50/- for SC/ST Candidates & no fee
for PH Candidates for each post. Candidates must take the DD of Nationalized Bank in favor
of NIELIT CHENNAI payable at Chennai.
14. Applications, which are not in conformity with the requirements indicated in the
advertisement, are liable to be rejected.
15. The Institute will have the right to fix criteria for screening the applications so as to reduce
the number of candidate to be called for written test/ interview.
16. Only short-listed candidates will be called for written test/interview. At the time of interview
they should bring original certificates of qualification, experience, etc and duly attested
photocopy of the same. Mere fulfilling of requirements as laid down in the advertisement
does not qualify a candidate for interview.
17. Candidates applying for 2(two) or more posts will have to submit application forms
separately for each position.
18. Candidates working in Govt/ Semi Govt/Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector organisation on
long term contract should apply through proper channel. However, an advance copy may
also be sent.
19. A position can be downgraded depending upon the requirement and decision of the Centre.

www.nielitchennai.edu.in. Also submit a hard copy of the same by post. The application complete in

600 025. No TA/DA shall be reimbursed to candidates appearing for written test and
interview. If the candidate claims his qualification as equivalent to the prescribed one, he is
