feedwatertanks,storagetanksandsilos,and

tobalancethepressureofthesteaminexcess
ofthesurroundingwaterpressure.Storage

tanksarefrequentlydamagedbythiswater
hammerandvibration.
Fourth,extratimewillneedtobeallowedto
heatlargevolumesofwater.

misadjustingindividualwashstationmixing
tees.
VenturiinjectionsystemsWiththeventurior
eductorinjectionmethodsteamisdrawn
directlyintothecoldwaterthroughaventurior
constrictioninthewaterline(seeFigure3).By
passingthroughtheventuri,steamentersthe
wateratahigh(sonic)velocity.Thiscreatesa
pressuredifferentialandgeneratesa
turbulencethatpromotesrapidmixingofthe
steamwiththecoldwater.
