Floating in RR-ed pots

Okay, inspired by dbitel's AQs thread, the topic came up on floating in RR-ed pots. This all
applies to play IN position, not OOP (you can do some stuff OOP but wont be talking about
that much here).
I've been doing this for the last 2 months or so, mixed results. You need some prerequisites
before doing this though.
-You should have a decent read on your opponent. (Doing this vs. unknowns is pretty blah).
-The flop is a good one to float.
-You are willing to bet most any turn if checked to.
Alright, the first one is pretty standard. Floating in RR-ed pots is often costly and spew
sometimes. Why do you do it?
Well, I think you should be doing it because its a nice counter to 3-betting light. Alot of
players don't 2 barrel as often in RR-ed pots, and will often c/f blank turns.
In RR-ed pots, I will rarely raise the flop if I am not the PFRR. ie. if I decide to play a hand
like AA and open, TAG in SB 3-bets as he has been doing frequently this session and I decide
to call (4-betting/etc are all options, but will not be discussed).
Flop comes T28r. He bets. I'm rarely raising here, with any sort of hand. The TAG is almost
always drawing to 2 outs, we have position, why not extract some more? Maybe we can gain
more value from a JJ or something that he might have folded if we shoved. I call his bets here
with more than just AA, thus why floating is good here sometimes (floating in RR-ed pots
shouldnt be an 'always' thing). I am also calling here with sets/AA/air. Raising on the flop in
RR-ed pots when not the PFRR is okay sometimes but won't be discussed atm.
So, what types of hands should we be floating with? I think that sometimes you have to have a
plan and go with it. Sometimes obsessive 3-betters will never relent and continue to do it. At
some point, I think you should take a stand, be it with AA or with 34o. By the time you
decide to call his RR in position, the value of your hand means very little (when you have air
that is) and you are merely playing position and the idea that villan will not fire 2 barrels.
What types of flops should you be looking to float on? Well, there are definitely better flops
than others. For instance, if I decide to call his RR in position with 65s and the flop comes
AKx, I'd probably be a bit less inclined to float on that type of flop. Had it been Kxx or so, I
would like that alot more. In reality, I don't think it matters tremendously on the type of board
to float on (obviously super wet boards like JTx monotone would suck) as we are playing
position (as stated before).
Here is a hand I played vs. TheMetetron. I read he was a TAG, etc. Had he been an unknown,
I typically dump PF but decided to play this time.

Flop: T A 2 ($50, 2 players)
SB bets $28, hero calls.
Turn: Q ($106, 2 players)
SB checks, hero bets $60
The turn gave me extra outs, like the same hand in dbitel's post. I decided to go through with
my stated plan.
Here is another hand I played: Villan is a 24/15 TAG who has literally 3-bet me every single
time I've opened (3-4 times straight) on the button (he is SB) I've had enough of it because BB
wasn't particularly good and I wanted to isolate him. I decided I was going to raise the next
button no matter my hand and went through with my plan. The turn is a v. good card for me,
but I think that betting is still superior.

Anyways, just some thoughts. I'm sure I missed some things but just some stuff to think
about. I am also folding to a second barrel in most cases unless I improve (I probably would
call that J5s hand on the turn).
