Exploring India
As a preparation for the NCM 09, Reji Francis, the General
coordinator & Victor Jose, an M.Tech graduate from IIT Mumbai,
are busy exploring the campuses of India. They started off with
Hyderabad and have traveled Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Gujarat,
Ahmadabad, Baroda& Delhi. They have met the Jesus Youth
leaders and most of the college Principals in these regions and
have updated about the National Campus Meet 2009. Jaison
Varghese, a forerunner from Bangalore, is also moving to
Karnataka region to support the mobilization works of NCM 09.
The lives of many a campus youth across the country are being
transformed by the relentless works of these young
missionaries. Let’s pray that their ceaseless works for the Lord
bear abundant fruits in their lives.

Proficuus ‘09
Proficuus ’09 blazed the stages of L.F. Generalate, Thrikkakara,
Kerala from August 28th to September 2nd. An initial programme
aimed at the budding Engineers from Kerala to guide them set their
priorities and lives, Proficuus saw participation of over 200, with
more than 85 volunteers to support the team. The participants were
led through a 3 day retreat, followed by a 2 day orientation program,
through which Jesus Youth movement was introduced to them.

the heart of this continuously growing ministry. It really helps us to
know and contribute to the Ministry activities in Indian campuses as
a big family. In the special aspect of Kerala, I personally feel that
campus vibes specifically helps us to lead the ministry with a
missionary outlook and make everyone think about new initiatives

A new Teens’ team was anointed in Kerala with Jerry Sebastian, a
B.Tech graduate from Amal Jyothy College, Kanjirappilly, as the
coordinator. The team has 19 members including Fr.Joshy O.C.D &
Sr.Ancy from Idukki as the animators. The new team which focuses
mainly on the prayer groups in schools has a lot ahead of them to
sizzle the teenagers in Kerala. Prayerful wishes to the new team!
Nadu Campus team was held at Trichy on 25th & 26th July, 2009.
The commitment and faithfulness of leadership was dealt in detail
with a Biblical approach. Leadership qualities of St.paul were
discussed and studied by the group. The sharings of many Jesus
Youth leaders have certainly motivated the group to work for Him in
the campuses. The focuses of ministry in the coming years were
also made clear to the group by the Campus Team.

THANK YOU LORD. It has been one year since the launch of CAMPUS VIBES – the E-news letter of National Campus Ministry and since then by the
Grace of Lord we have been successful in bringing out this news letter, once in every 2 months. The Holy Spirit has been guiding us in a very special
way all throughout the works of the newsletters. With hearts full of gratitude and Praises to the Almighty, we present this 7th issue of CAMPUS VIBES.

It was with great expectation National Campus Team initiated the news letter Campus Vibes to spread the happenings at campuses all over India and Dona from Kerala

MOST LOVING GOD, we humbly place our Campus Ministry into Your hands. We pray for our colleges, universities and all other
centers of learning so that You will raise Your apostles in these places. Let Your message of love bear abundant fruits among
the students, teachers and all the administrative staff in these institutions. Let there be an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon
them, so that many of them will accept Jesus as their Lord and Master and will come together to glorify Him. We make this
prayer with the intercession of our blessed mother. Amen

Jesus Youth is an international Catholic youth movement of young people who, filled with the Holy Spirit try to reach out to other young people and in
their own life situations, strive to give time to the Lord, responding to the challenges of today’s world in the power of the Holy Spirit.
