Com base nessa pesquisa aproveitaria o tema para verificar atravs dos registos
electroencefalogrficos quais seriam os correlatos cerebrais entre esses dois grupos de
indivduos, e/ou verificar atravs dos registos quais seriam as diferenas nas actividades frontais
entre esses dois grupos de indivduos, executando as mesma tarefas.

Enquadramento terico
Actividade cortical na banda alfa EEG provou ser particularmente sensveis s exigncias
relacionadas com a criatividade, mas o seu significado funcional, no contexto da cognio
criativa ainda no foi clarificada. Especificamente, o aumento da actividade alfa (ou seja, a
sincronizao alfa) em resposta ao pensamento criativo pode ser interpretada de diferentes
maneiras: como um correlato funcional da marcha lenta cortical, como um sinal de
actividade top-down interno ou, mais especificamente, como a inibio selectiva das regies
cerebrais. [3]
b) Execuo de tarefas
Foi medido a actividade do crebro durante o pensamento criativo em dois estudos
que empregam diferentes mtodos de medio neurofisiolgicos (EEG e fMRI). Em ambos
os estudos, os participantes trabalharam em quatro tarefas verbais diferentes com base na
produo de ideias criativas. [3]
O estudo revelou que a produo de ideias originais no EEG, foi associado a sincronizao
alfa em regies frontais do crebro e com um padro difuso e generalizada de
sincronizao alfa sobre as regies corticais parietais.[3]
Alm disso, encontraram efeitos de tarefas especficas em reas do crebro parietotemporal. Os resultados sugerem que a sincronizao EEG na banda alfa durante o
pensamento criativo pode ser interpretado como um sinal de processos cognitivos activos
