Georgia is undertaking significant steps to facilitate entrepreneurship and innovation. This

year, the government created Georgias Technology and Innovation Agency (GITA) to
support entrepreneurs and facilitate the creation of new businesses. Panelists will discuss
how policy makers and the donor community can support entrepreneurship
development and how lessons learned from across the globe can support next steps for
building a thriving startup culture in Georgia.

7 entrepreneurs pitch for a total of 10 minutes each (5 minute presentations with 5
minutes of Q&A).

Networking Reception & Award Ceremony

During the networking reception 30 entrepreneurs showcase their prototype and answer
questions from investors, seasoned entrepreneurs and other distinguished guests. Awards
will be presented to the top 3 startups.
