Professional Experience

1) Microsoft India Pvt. Limited, New Delhi


Working as a Manager Operations at Microsoft India Gurgaon Premises since July 2007
till Date

Job Responsibilities

Single point of contact for Centralized Data Centre across India as a Subsidiary. Hold
responsible for upload all the Databases in a centralized place called CDC coming from
different agencies and also uploading these onto Siebel using GMP (Global Marketing
Platform) Tools. Working on MCMP (Marketing Campaign Management Process).
Currently managing a Team of 12 People at the agency level and responsible for their
deliverables.

 Data Mining: Mining data from different sources (Siebel, EMMA, Different
Agencies etc) providing data to different marketing communication Managers
for proper campaign execution across India. As being the single point of contact
for all organization and contact level info for India as a subsidiary therefore
stand responsible for providing marketing intelligence and audience availability
reports all across different region of India. Validating data Quality with the
company standards.

 Marketing Qualified Prospect Upload: Being a single point of contact for all
MQP upload across the India Subsidiary for all the sales and marketing
initiatives and activities. Preparing and producing timeline SLA to business for
the upload of MQP onto to the system. Sending monthly MQP upload reports
and sync up with the agencies. Preparing matrix for revenue impact VS dollars
spent for these MQP on monthly basis.

 Database Building/Procurement/Refresh: Procuring databases across different


Segments, Audience, Regions and Verticals as per the business requirement.
Handling different agencies and vendors for procurement of Database and
making sure that proper Taxonomy should be take care of before any data
procurement from any agency or vendor. Building up a plan for periodic data
refresh for different segments on basis of usability. Sharing the bounce
back/bad data with agencies after doing the quality check on the contact level
info for the profiled orgs asking the replacement with correct info.

 De-duplication: Using different and effective ways to de-duplication and re-


duplicates the Database to provide Quality Database for proper campaign
execution by creating sets of Unique Keys for different data sources.

 Pre Campaign Testing: Planning and executing pre campaign test. Using
dummy pre dummy contacts to check the response rate.

 Campaign Response Analysis: Measuring the impact of direct-marketing


initiatives. Calculating ratio between numbers of touches per campaign verses
number of responses per campaign. Analyzing success of campaign with actual
spending V$ objective achieved. Preparing Revenue summary and providing in-
depth of revenue generated per campaign.

 Microsoft VOO (Value of Original): One of the biggest campaign’s Microsoft is


running at present across 36 different cities allover India. Acquiring Database
from different sources (Agencies, SMS, and Online Survey etc) and scrubbing
the acquired data with existing set of customers. Uploading the Non existing
customer on to tool called PITCHER INDIA.

 MMRP Project: MMRP (Mid Market Relationship Program) is the newly added
project came to us in FY09. The objective of this was to have continues
interaction with the different customers segments (Enterprise Agreements,
Open and Select) at different stages of their enrolment with Microsoft some of
these are Welcome phase, Renewal phase, Laps phase etc.

 Report Building: Periodically fetching out different Sales reports from Data
Base (MS Sales, Siebel), providing Reports to Account Managers about the
Revenue generated by particular campaign, new customer’s month on month
basis, and revenue status segregated on various segment.

 Running inbuilt queries from SQL server to extract data, preparing reports:
Manipulation with queries as per the requirements and the feasibility of the
data extraction. Uploading and updating all new contact level information
through SQL. Mainting the customer/prospect database of approx 200k and
upload the correct info onto

2) Annik Technology Services, Gurgaon


Worked as a Data Analytic Process Associate (Team Supervisor) since March 2003 till
April 2007.

Microsoft Existing Data Cleaning

Handled project for Microsoft called EDC (Existing Data Cleaning). Clean the Existing
Data (Database) of MICROSOFT by analysis and validation of data.

 Successfully exceeded Quality level which were 98% and we exceeded those
figures and provided Microsoft with 100 % quality work which resulted in
making Annik as only DOC center across India.
 We used different tools like CMT and DET to deal with different data
systems (MS Sales and Siebel) and validating Data based on different
Research engines.
 Transform stake holders if required, expectations and interface into customer
requirement.

Fashion World

Handling individual project called Fashion World (Apparel) for more than 3 yeras.
Handling business units such as Ladies Apparel, Men’s Apparel, Children Apparel and
playwear apparel.

Job Responsibilities

 Worked for the US based client NPD (National Purchase Dairy). Prepare a
database for the client from where value information like current market
situation, trends in the markets can be obtained and accessed.
 Perform Quality Check of the entire project and share those reports to the
senior executives(Manager and Senior manager)

combinations of the requirements in the market surveys that are being
