INSTRUCTIONS

I. To the Candidates
1. Application for registration of any examination notified by the University shall be in the
prescribed form available in the University web site www.cusat.ac.in. Registration for
examinations will be on-line with effect from 2012 admission for B.Tech candidates and from
2013 admission onwards in the case of all other candidates.
2. Application for registration received after the last date specified in the notification will be
rejected summarily.
3. The Candidate applying for registration of any examination of the University shall ensure that
he/she is already matriculated to the University. Application for matriculation shall be
submitted through proper channel. In the case of students who have passed the qualifying
examination from outside Kerala state, application for specific recognition of their qualifying
examination is also to be submitted separately.
4. Candidate should affix a recent passport size photograph on the Hall ticket attested by a
faculty member/Head under the office seal of the institution where the candidate is appearing
for the examination in the case of off line applications.
5. All candidates registering for final semester examination should invariably remit the cost of
application form and fee for provisional certificate and degree certificate along with fee for
examination registration and mark list, even if they have few papers left to be cleared.
6. However, submission of application for degee certificate along with copy of address proof is
compulsory, since issuance of Degree Certificate will be only on receipt of application.
7. Late applications recommended and forwarded by the Head of the Institution on genuine
grounds will be accepted only up to the time and date of closure of registration mentioned in the
Exam Notification. In such cases candidate has to remit the fee, which icludes fine and superfine
as per University rules.
II. To the Exam Centres
1. DCB statement shall be in duplicate, showing the details of candidates branch wise and
scheme wise. The details of candidates belonging to SC/ST and OEC communities who have
not remitted the examination fees at the time of registration are to be specifically mentioned in
the DCB statement. The Exam Centres shall take immediate steps to get such amount
recovered from the State Government and the same shall be remitted to the University before
the publish of result of the examination.
2. The details of Electives opted by the candidate shall be intimated well in advance to
Controller of Examinations.
3. Issuance and generation of Hall tickets off-line/on-line will be only on receipt of
i)

Certificate of attendance

ii) Statement of marks/grades of the Internal Assessment

4. Candidates shall be permitted to apply for registration at the Examination Centre itself till the
last day prescribed for the same in the calendar/Exam Notifications. The applications together
with fee and other documents shall reach the office of the Controller of Examinations on or
before the date prescribed for the same in the Exam Calendar/Notification.
5. All candidates registering for final semester examination should invariably remit the cost of
