US stocks rally on earnings; Dow tops 17,000

U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday, with the Dow extending gains into a fourth day and the S&P 500 and
Nasdaq Composite higher on the month, as investors embraced corporate earnings, a rise in consumer
sentiment and anticipated the end of the Federal Reserve's bond buys.

US to Become #1 Oil Producer
Shale fracking is setting up the US to beat Saudi Arabia, and Russia, as a top oil producer soon. The US is
expected to produce 9.6 million barrels of oil per day by 2019.

Europe closes firmly higher; Sanofi plummets
European stocks ended the day firmly in positive territory on Tuesday regaining some of Monday's losses,
as investors reacted to third-quarter earnings and prepared for a key monetary policy decision in the U.S.

UBS Rises as Investors Bet Legal Challenges May Ease
Switzerlands biggest bank, UBS, rose in Zurich trading after the bank set aside 1.84 billion Swiss francs for
litigation provisions, easing investor concern about the future cost of legal challenges. The bank reported
an increase in net income in the third-quarter of 762 million francs.

PSI-20 rose 2.19% driven by PT, Mota-Engil and BCP gains
After two days on red zone, the Portuguese stocks follow the European Indexes upward trend, majorly
benefiting by gains in BCP, PT and Mota-Engil.

Mota-Engil jumps more than 7.5% after ensuring a $1.5b project
Mota-Engils shares closed today session boosting 7.54% after the company announced the winning of a
touristic project in Mexico worth $1.5 billion.
