Huawei eSight is a next-generation comprehensive and integrated IP+IT network operation and maintenance
(O&M) system developed to manage enterprise resources, services, and users in compliance with Information
Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards.
As the network scales and the number of enterprise network applications continue to grow, so does the
number of devices, such as multi-service routers, gateways, and WLAN Access Points (APs), which enable
communication and collaboration in decentralized networks like enterprise campus networks and branch

eSight uses browser/server (B/S) architecture and can run on portable computers, enabling users to access
the network and check the network status anytime, anywhere.
eSight provides four editions express, compact, standard, and professional to meet the management
and business requirements of any type of enterprise.
eSight provides unied management for IP and IT devices, and also virtual devices and physical devices. It
can manage both Huawei and third-party devices and allows users to customize device management, which
greatly reduces initial investment cost.
Based on the unied network management platform, eSight manages wired and wireless networks
uniformly, provides a complete O&M solution, and supports intelligent linkage between functional
components, delivering unied O&M experience and reducing training costs for O&M personnel.

Based on industry best practices, eSight provides network quality evaluation, fast fault diagnosis, and
detailed fault rectication suggestions, helping users to quickly diagnose faults and simplify the required skill

eSight's open platform supports IP devices from
Cisco, HP and other vendors, and provides unied management of campus devices such as switches,
routers, WLAN devices, and rewalls.
SLA Manager can be used with the NQA function of network devices to
help evaluate packet loss ratio, delay, and jitter. This realizes timely fault diagnosis and provides a good
user experience in enterprise campus networks.
Fine-grained trafc management at the campus egress allows allocation of
sufcient bandwidth for audio, video, and Internet services.
A campus network includes enterprise resources such as
network equipment, employees, and core business data. An increasing number of enterprises deploy

help enterprises view trafc, locate faults, and plan applications on branch networks.
SLA Manager can be used with the NQA function of network devices to

eSight DC nCenter displays the connection and running status
of devices in real time, including the subordinate and connection relationship between physical TOR switches, physical
servers, vSwitches, and VMs.
DC nCenter detects VM changes (for example, a VM goes online, goes
ofine, or is migrated) through vCenter, and synchronizes virtual network congurations to the physical network by
changing network congurations between source and destination TOR switches.
eSight monitors data center interface trafc and conducts SLA analysis for key
services. This helps users to detect faults in advance and quickly diagnose faults, ensuring the QoS of the data center.
The VM technology is widely used in data centers to reduce the number of required
servers and enhance service reliability. A data center needs to manage not only the physical network but also the virtual
