1.1 Problem Statement:
Developing a management application and hence making the information
retrieval and maintaining the data easier.
1.2 Objective:
Listed below are some of the main objectives of the software:
1.Higher reliability.
2.Fast access of information.
3.Improved staf efciency and reduces the workload.
4.Provide security aspects.
5.Increase capacity of handling data.

1.3 SCOPE
Our software is designed keeping in mind the upcoming
wholesale. This software would manage mainly aspects like
Suppliers records, Stock In, Stock out, Products record & their
respectie inentories.
!enerate arious kinds of "eport related Inentory. Product
details and Purchase order details can #e generated ery easily.
Only the authori$ed users will #e a#le to change the details of
the system.
Our system will proide a platform for all types of material
related information. Our pro%ect is designed keeping in iew the
re&uirements of the entire department associated with it.
'e hae laid a great deal in proiding a sound user interface so
that the user should learn how to use and control this
management system in a simple and easy way. This does not

mean we had to compromise on the functionality and (e)i#ility
of the software.

1)It should keep track of all the materials being needed and available
in the stock.
2)It can generate the Purchase order according to stock requirement.
3)Report generation in a customized manner.
4)Add Products and Suppliers according to the business need.
5)Updating the records according to the Stock In and Stock Out.

3.3 Working of the EMS
Keeping track of inventories of required quality and in desired quantities
should be made available in the Stock when required.
This is achieved by:
a)Generate purchase order according to the need in stock.
b)Keep track of stock in and stock out.
c)Adding Products.
d)Adding Suppliers.
e)Customized report generation.
f)Adding user rights given to the administrator.
g)Up-to-date and accurate record keeping.
h)Periodic inventory check up.
A good control over the inventories ofers the following advantages.
a)One does not face shortage of materials.
b)Materials of good quality and procured in time minimize defects in
fnished goods
c)Delays in production schedules are avoided.
d)Production targets are achieved

e)Accurate delivery dates can be ascertained and the industry builds
up reputation and better relations with customers.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
a. Hardware Requirements: Besides an IBM personal computer having
Windows 98/ME/XP/NT, no other hardware is required.
b. User interface: The user interface is inherent in the system and
requires no external interface.
c. Other interfaces required, but not included: Any Windows operating
system is required to run this software, which is not included with it.

CONCLUSION & EXTENSIONS
In current scenario project fulflls the requirements of any
warehouse. In future, we extend the features of our project
according to Inventory requirement. We can modify our project in a
fully functional ERP package for established companies.We can also
add the facility to interact with remote person through Internet &
other prevailing facilities.
