IntodayserathedegradersofRasool(saw)denytheshaf'at(Blessing)Rasool(saw)indifferentforms.NotonlyistheRasool(saw)
sourceofshaf'athimself,butalsotherelicsassociatedwithhimareShaf'atforUmmah.TheSahabah(R.A)duringhis(saw)lifetime,
and also after his (saw) passing away did things like washing hiscloak to seek cure, wiping his Wudhu water over their faces and
chests,evenfightingoverhisleftoverwudhuwater,consideringhishairasmostdeartoeverythingthatisintheworld,touchinghis
pulpit, Collecting his (saw) sweat and seeking Barakah from all of them, etc...There are hundreds of hadiths but few I wish to
mentionhere.
InLightoftheQuraanitwasusualpracticeoftheCompanionstopreserverelicsofRasool(saw)andtodrawbenefitsandblessings
outofthem.ThisprovesthattheyofferedthemtoAllaahasinstrumentsofmediationwhentheyneededHishelpandassistance.
AllaahHimselfhasmadereferencetotherelicsoftheProphetsintheHolyQuraan.
Quraan says: And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the
Covenant,with(anassurance)thereinofsecurityfromyourLord,andtherelicsleftbythefamilyofMosesandthefamilyofAaron,
carriedbyangels.Inthisisasymbolforyouifyeindeedhavefaith."[Quraan2:248].
(ArkoftheCovenantcontentsareMosesspairofsandalsandhisstaff(Asaa),Aaronsturban,ameasure(qafz)ofthemannathat
usedtocomedownonthem,andthepiecesofthebrokentablets:TafsiralJalalayn).
Quraanstates "Gowiththismyshirt,andcastitoverthefaceofmyfather:hewillcometosee(clearly).Thencomeye(here)to
metogetherwithallyourfamily."Whenthecaravanleft(Egypt),theirfathersaid:"IdoindeedscentthepresenceofJoseph:Nay,
thinkmenotadotard."Theysaid:"ByAllah.Trulythouartinthineoldwanderingmind."Thenwhenthebearerofthegoodnews
came,Hecast(theshirt)overhisface,andheforthwithregainedclearsight.Hesaid:"DidInotsaytoyou,'IknowfromAllahthat
whichyeknownot?'"[Quran12:9396].
Narrated Ibn Sirrn:I said to 'Abida, "I have some of the hair of the Rasool (saw) which I got from Anas or from his family." 'Abida
replied."NodoubtifIhadasinglehairofthatitwouldhavebeendearertomethanthewholeworldandwhateverisinit.Sahih

Anasreported:IsawwhentheRasool(saw)gothishaircutbythebarber,hisCompanionscameroundhimandtheyeagerlywanted
thatnohairshouldfallbutinthehandofaperson.SahihMuslim:Book030,Number5750.
Narrated IsraiI: Uthman bin 'Abdullah bin Mauhab said, "My people sent me with a bowl of water to Um Salama." Isra'il
approximatedthreefingers('indicatingthesmallsizeofthecontainerinwhichtherewassomehairoftheProphet.'Uthmanadded,
Ifanypersonsufferedfromevileyeorsomeotherdisease,hewouldsendavessel(containingwater)toUmSalama.Ilookedinto
thecontainer(thatheldthehairoftheProphet)andsawafewredhairsinit."Bukahri:Book72,Number784.
Abdullaah thefreed slave of Asma bintAbu Bakr, the maternal uncle ofthe son ofAta, reported:Asma sent me to Abdullaahbin
Umarsaying:IwentbacktoAsma'andinformedher,whereuponshesaid:HereisthecloakofRasool(saw),andshebroughtout
to me that cloak made of Persian cloth with a hem of brocade, and its sleeves bordered with brocade and said: This was Allah's
Messenger's cloak with 'A'isha until she died, and when she died. I got possession of it.The Apostle of Allaah (saw) used to wear
that,andwewasheditforthesickandsoughtcurethereby.Muslim:Book24,Number:5149.
Anasb.Malik(Allahbepleasedwithhim)reported:WhenRasool(saw)hadthrownpebblesattheJamraandhadsacrificedthe
animal,heturned(therightside)ofhisheadtowardsthebarber,andi.eshavedit.HethencalledAbuTalhaalAnsariandgaveitto
him.Hethenturnedhisleftsideandaskedhim(thebarber)toshave.Andhe(thebarber)shaved,andgaveittoAbuTalhaandtold
himtodistributeitamongstthepeople.Muslim:Book7,Number2994alsovariousnarrationsinsamechapter.
TheloversoftheProphet(saw)wereextremelyfondofhispulpitandpreserveditlikehisotherrelicstodrawblessingsfromit.Qd
Iydrelates:AbdullahIbnUmarwasoftenseentouchingwithhishandthepartofthepulpitwheretheProphet(saw)usedtosit
andthenrubbinghishandalloverhisbody.QdIyd,ashShif(2:620).
NarratedAbuJuhaifa:IcametotheProphetwhilehewasinsidearedleathertent,andIsawBilaltakingtheremainingwaterofthe
ablutionoftheProphet,andthepeopleweretakingofthatwaterandrubbingitontheirfaces;andwhoevercouldnotgetanything
ofit,wouldsharethemoistureofthehandofhiscompanion(andthenrubitonhisface).Bukhari:Volume7,Book72,Number750:
PartofHadith:..UrwathenstartedlookingattheCompanionsoftheProphet.ByAllah,wheneverAllah'sApostlespat,thespittle
wouldfallinthehandofoneofthem(i.e.theProphet'scompanions)whowouldrubitonhisfaceandskin;ifheorderedthemthey
would carry his orders immediately; if he performed ablution, they would struggle to take the remaining water; and when they
spoketohim,theywouldlowertheirvoicesandwouldnotlookathisfaceconstantlyoutofrespect.Urwareturnedtohispeople
and said, "O people! By Allah, I have been to the kings and to Caesar, Khosrau and AnNajashi, yet I have never seen any of them
respectedbyhiscourtiersasmuchasMuhammadisrespectedbyhiscompanions.ByAllaah,ifhespat,thespittlewouldfallinthe
handofoneofthem(i.e.theProphet'scompanions)whowouldrubitonhisfaceandskin;ifheorderedthem,theywouldcarryout
hisorderimmediately;ifheperformedablution,theywouldstruggletotaketheremainingwater;andwhentheyspoke,theywould
lowertheirvoicesandwouldnotlookathisfaceconstantlyoutofrespect."SahihMuslim:Volume3,Book50,Number891.
AndwemustnotforgetthecoveredsmallwindowwithchainoverthegreendomeatMadinah.Duringdroughttime,whenMuslims
ofMadinahcomplainedtoHadhratAaisha(r.a),sheinstructedthemtomakeasmallholeabovetheDomeoftheProphetsGrave,
(to sunrays fall on holy grave) and ask Duaa. As soon as sunrays fell upon holy grave and with its Barakah there was rain start
pouringheavily.Thiswascontinuedinlaterperiodsalso.Whenthegreendomewasconstructedabovetheolddome,theymadea
hole and made window on it. Again this method was continued whenever draught happened. But at last this practice was
discontinued,smallwindowabovethegreendomepermanentlyclosedwithchainbythenewWahhabiregime.
LetusdoZiarahnowtotheimportantplacesintheholylandandeachofthesehistoricallysignificantplaceshasalessontobe
learnt.Withoutknowingthebackground,orwhattodoandjustwalkingaboutinadmirationandreturningwouldmakeonesuch
a sad loser.Thesethoughtsarenotbasedonanyparticularsectoranyspecificbeliefbutarepointerstoanopportunityforevery
MuslimtogatherasmuchBlessingsasonecanduringavisittoTheHolyLand.
Visitingsuchaplace,asaEuropeantourist,marvellingatitandposingforpicturesmaybedonebuttheimportanceistobehaveas
directed by Sahabah and the Aulia Allaah. For example the fortunate ones who are granted the opportunity to visit Jabal e Noor
andreachtheGhaareHira,shouldreciteSurahAlAlaqoratleastfirstfiveAyath,asthesewerethefirstrevelation.DooneSajdha,
andpray2rakatnaflprayer,andthenreciteaDaroodSharief.
MayAllaahforgivemeifImademistakeorerrorintheabovenarrationandmayAllaahguideusalltotherightpath.

ABDULLAHBINABBAS(r.a)MasjidinTaifcity.WhilegoingfromU.A.EandQatarbyroadvisittheseplaces.AbdullahbinAbbas(r.a)
& Muhammad bin Hanafi (rah) graves in Taif adjacent to Abdullah bin Abbas Masjid graveyard. He was a paternal cousin of the
Prophet Muhammad (saw) and son of wealthy merchant Abbas ibn abd al Muttalib. He is revered by Muslims for his knowledge
andwasanexpertinTafsir(exegesisoftheQur'aan),aswellasanauthorityontheIslamicSunnah.

ALKOUMASJID:ThiswastheplaceProphet(saw)cameandstoodwithinjuryandbloodoozingfromhisbodywhentheTaif
childrenthrewstonesonhim.ManyMuslimsvisitsandprayhere.

MASJIDADDASinTaif:locatedoutskirtofTaifcityneartoAlKoumasjid,whereChristianslaveAddasofNinevah(cityinIraq),took
Prophet (saw) to his hut and gave grapes to Prophet (saw) and his adopted son Zaid bin Haritha (r.a). When Prophet (saw) said
Bismillah Raheem while putting grape in his mouth, Addas astonished and enquired him about his identity, and after having
little conversation, he became Muslim there. Historians say Mosque was constructed over the Addas hut, where Prophet (saw)
stayedandrestedforfewdays.Approximatelystayedfor10daysandpreachedtothelocalpeopleandlefttoMakkah.

MASJID FATAH in JUMOOM near Makkah outskirts on the way to Madinah. Here Abu Sufiyan (r.a) became Muslim and got title
Radhi Allaahu Anhu.ThisMasjidisthelocationforthetentofProphet(saw),whenhestoppedherebeforeenteringMakkahwith
his10000Sahabah,duringFatahMakkah.WhenyouleaveforMadinahthismasjidliesonyourleftsideinJumoom.

MASJID ZANDARWEI. (Behind this Masjid, Jubayr bin Mutim (r.a) well (Ulya well) is situated. Prophet (saw) bathed from the well
waterandprayedhereinIhramcloth.ImamAhmadnarratesProphet(saw)usedtogoandpraythere).

MASJID JINN: Narrated by Tabraani on the authority of IbneAbbas (r.a) that Jinn came to Prophet (saw) twice & they were from
Nasibeen .Basedontheaboveinformation,itisunderstoodthatfirstincidentwasin HUJOONwhereMasjideJinnisconstructed ,
(and second incident with JINN was at Batn Nakhlah as explained by Tafseer Jalalain &IbneKatheer.) It is called the Masjid Jinn
becauseitisherethatalargegroupofJinnacceptedIslamatProphets(saw)hand.AbdullaahbinMas'ood(r.a)waswithProphet
(saw) at that time, but Prophet (saw) drew a line on the ground which he was not to cross (to save him from shock and physical
harm).

MASJIDSHAJARAH:OppositetoMasjidJinn.HerewhensomeMushrikeenrejectedhisinvitationtoIslam,Prophet(saw)summoned
atreeanditcamewiththerootsdidSujoodtoProphet(saw)andontheorderithasgonebacktoitsoriginalplace.

MASJIDIJABAHinMakkahatMaabdaarea:Prophet(saw)prayeddhuhrandasronIstiraaha13thdhulhijjahandtookrestthere.
DuringmyfirsthajjIstayednearthismasjidandprayedonce.

MASJIDAbiSufyan:Nowdemolished.DuringMakkahvictoryProphet(saw)fixedagreenflaghere.AbiSufyanwifeHind,didaccept
Islamhere.Prophet(saw)toldwhoeverstaysinAbiSufyanhometheyaresafe.DuringmyfirstvisittoMakkahitwasthere.

MasjidalKhayfinMina:AccordingtoIbnAbbasaround70Prophetsstayedandprayed(MajmauzZawahid),atthisplace.InMinaa
barber shaving Rasool (saw) head. Some Sahabah struggling each other to get the hairs of Rasool (saw). At that time Khalid bin
Waleed said to Rasool (saw), O Messenger of Allaah, the forelock! Give it unto none but me, my father and mother be your
ransom!AndRasool(saw)gaveittohim,hepresseditreverentlyagainsthiseyesandlips.ItisreportedthatKhalidbinWaleed(r.a)
usedtokeepthishairsinhisheadgear,neverlostanybattleinhislifeduetoitsBarakah.AlHamdulillaahIhadachanceofkissing
thishairinHazratbalMasjid,Srinagar,KashmirandcreditgoestoFarooqAbdullah,ChiefMinisterofKashmir.

MasjidMASHHARUL HARAMinMujdhalifa:AboutthismasjidAllaahmentionedinSurahBaqra.Prophet(saw)stayedinthisplace
offeredMaghrib&Ishaprayerstogether.InthissameplaceProphetAdam(a.s)andHawwa(a.s)stayedwholenightdidSujoodand
askedDuaa.Ibrahim(a.s)andIsmail(a.s)alsoprayedhere.

Masjid BAIYYAH or Masjid Uqba in Mina: Here is the spot where the Ansar of Madinah pledged their allegiance to our Prophet
(saw)in621Hijri.ThereisastonewithinscriptionsonitabouttheMasjidincidentsbyAbbasidKhalifaAbuJaffaralMansourin144
Hijri.(761A.C).FirsttimetwoKabilabelongstoAwsandKhajrajtribe,12peoplecameandtookbaiyyah.Secondtimepledgecalled
the Baiyyah Aqaba Thaaniya took place the following year (13
th
year after Prophethood). 72 or 73 male and 2 women came and
tookbaiyyahfromProphet(saw)infrontofUncleAbbasibnMuttalibwhoatthatpointwasnotaMuslim,andtheyinvitedProphet
(saw) to Madinah. Here Prophet (saw) conducted prayers. Total 5 Mihrabs are there. Other 4 Mihrabs denotes about other 4
KhalifasofIslamconductedprayerhere.ItistherooflessMasjidandwaslastlyrenovatedbyTurkish.

Prophet(saw)birthplace:ItwasinthevicinityofthisValleythatProphet(saw)familytheBanuHaashimlived.Thesiteisafamous
one.ThefamousAbbaasiKhalifahHaaroonAlRasheedhadaMasjidbuiltatthesite,whichSheikhAbbaasQataan(rah)demolished
in1370A.H.(1950)tobuildalibrary.NowtheseWahhabisdeclaresthisbirthplacedoesnthaveanyvalueorimportanceinIslam.

Marked place was the home, belonged to a Sahabi named Arqam bin Abu Arqam (r.a). For some time after Prophet (saw.)
proclaimed his Prophethood, this house was the secret center of propagation. It was here that the Muslims gathered to perform
SalaahandlearnaboutIslam.TheAbbaasiKhalifahHaaroonArRasheedhadaMasjidbuiltatthesiteintheyear171A.H.(787).It
wassituatedoutsidetheMas'aa.Duringtheirterms,variousMuslimKhulafaahaverenovatedandrebuilttheMasjid.

UMMHANIhomeplace:OnesmalldoorchainwashanginginthatplaceandwasmovinguntilProphet (saw)camebackfromIsraal
Meiraj.MarkedbyTurkishgovernmentinHolyMosquenearAzizgate.

MASJIDSHABAN:Prophet(saw)deliveredalectureonNisfShaban(15

Shaban),liesonoldJeddahroad.Onaccountofthis
MuslimsperformoptionalprayersduringthisspecialnightandcalleditShabeBarat.DeviantMuslimssaysitisBidah.

MasjidNAMIRAH:ItliesinfrontofWadiUranah.Prophet(saw)gavefamousKutbahherewhilesittingonhiscamelduringhis
farewellHajjin632Hijri.

BEERTUWA(TUWAWELL):ThesignificanceoftheareaisthatProphet(saw)spentanightthereonthewaytoFatahMakkahalong
with 10,000 Sahaba, took a bath with the water of the well the next morning and then performed Salaah. Thereafter, he entered
Makkah.ItwasthereforethepracticeofAbdullaahbinUmar(r.a)alwaystospendanighthereandthenproceedtoMakkahafter
takingabath."ThisiswhatRasoolullaah(saw)did,"hewouldsay.AMasjidhadbeenconstructedattheplacenearthewellwhere
Prophet(saw)performedSalaah.ThisMasjidwasinexistenceuntilrecenttimes,whenitwaseventuallydemolished.

BEERTUWANOWduringMasjidulHaramextension.AndIcametoknowduringthisperiodlocalsandvisitorsvisitedandhad
chancesofdrinkingthiswellwater.Naseebpeople.Itwasclosedforalongperiodwithchainandalsoduringmyvisitin2013.

JANNATULMAALA:SeveralAhadeethstatethevirtuesofthisgraveyard,onebeingthenarrationinwhichProphet(saw)saidabout
it, "What an excellent place is this graveyard." Ahmad Hadith 3472 and Majma'uz Zawaa'id (Vol.3 Pg.297). Nearly 7000 Sahaba
buried here including graves of Abd Manaf: Great, greatgrandfather of the Holy Prophet [saw], Hashim: Greatgrandfather of the
Holy Prophet [saw], Abdul Muttalib: Grandfather of the Holy Prophet (saw), and Abu Talib: Father of Hadhrat Ali (radhi). Khadijah
bintKhuwaylid:FirstwifeoftheHolyProphet(saw)andmotherofSayyidaFatima(r.a],Abdullah&Qasim:sonsoftheHolyProphet
(saw)whodiedintheirinfancy.AsmaBintAbuBakr,AbdullahBinZubair,AbuBakr(radhi)ssonAbdurRahmanandothers.TheHoly
Prophet(saw)usedtovisititfrequently.Itisthe2ndholiestgraveyardofIslamafterJannatulBaqi(BaqiGraveyard).

ABDULLAH bin UMAR (r.a) was born to Umar ibn alKhattab (r.a) and his wife Zaynab bint Madh'uwn (sister of Uthman bin
Madh'uwn)sometimearound614.Helearntagreatdealandbothheandhisfatherhadthebenefitoflearningfromthegreatest
teacherofall,MuhammadtheMessengerofGod(peacebeuponhim).Abdullahwouldobserveandscrutinizecloselyeverysaying
andactionoftheProphetinvarioussituationsand,hewouldpracticewhatheobservedcloselyandwithdevotion.Forexample,if
AbdullahsawtheProphet(saw)performingSalatinaparticularplace,hewouldlaterprayinthesameplace.IfhesawtheProphet
making a supplication while standing, he would also make a duaa while standing. If he saw him making a duaa while sitting, he
woulddothesame.OnajourneyifhesawtheProphet(saw)descendfromhiscamelataparticularplaceandpraytworakats,and
hehadoccasiontopassonthesameroute,hewouldstopatthesameplaceandpraytworakats.InaparticularplaceinMakkah,he
onceobservedtheProphet'scamelmakingtwocompleteturnsbeforehedismountedandprayedtworakats.Itmightbethatthe
camel did that involuntarily but Abdullah ibn Umar when he happened to be in the same place at another time, made his camel
complete two turns before making it kneel and dismounting. He then prayed two rakats in precisely the same manner as he had
seentheProphet(saw)do.
HewaseighteenyearsoldattheendofProphet(saw)in632A.H.Hewouldpracticestepbystepwhatheobservedcloselyandwith
devotionofProphet(saw).Aaisha,(r.a),noticeddevotionofAbdullahibnUmar(r.a)totheProphet(saw)andremarked:"Therewas
noonewhofollowedthefootstepsoftheProphet(saw),intheplaceswherehealightedasdidIbnUmar."
IsthereanyoneavailableinearthlikeAbdullaahibnUmar(r.a)?

MAIMUNAH(r.a)graveinSarifbeforeJamoomwhilegongtoMadinahatleftside.YazeedbinAsamnarratesthatwhen
MAIMUNAHfellillinMakkah,shehadnorelatives.Shethereforetoldthepeople"TakemeoutsideMakkah.Ishallnotbedying
here(inMakkah)becauseProphet(saw)toldmethatIshallnotdieinMakkah."ShewasthentakentoSarifbeneaththetreewhere
shemarriedProphet(saw)intheyear7hijri.Rasool(sal)stayedoverforafewdaysafterthewedding.Itwasherethatshethen
passedawayintheyear51Hijriandwasburied.IbnHishaam(Vol.3Pg.370),AsadulGhaabah(Vol.6Pg.274).
Mu'jizaatun Nabi by IbnKatheer (Pg.210).She was the only Prophetswife witnessed all the period of fourKhalifa anddied inthe
periodofKhalifaMuawiyya(r.a).

HudhaibiyaHaramboundary.Thereissmallmosqueandawell.HereProphet(saw)andSahabadidZubahandremovedtheir
Ihram.Ibelievethatnowthesemarkingswereremoved.

HUDAIBIYAHTREATYMasjid:ThisliesintheoldJeddahroad.

Narrated Iyas bin Salama bin AlAkwa: (This was the place Hudaibiya treaty was written under the tree and later this was the
masjidandSahabahusedtopray.)Myfather,whowasamongstthosewhohadgiventhePledgeofallegiancetotheProphet(saw)
beneaththeTree,saidtome,"WeusedtooffertheJumuaprayerwiththeProphet(saw)andthendepartatatimewhenthewalls
hadnoshadeforustotakeshelterin."
(LikethisKhalifaAbuBakrSiddiquekhilafatperiodhasalsogone.Laterpeopleforgottentheexacttreelocation,startedprayingnear
bythetrees.SoduringUmarbinKhattab(r.a)khilafatperioditwasorderedtocutallthetrees).

NarratedSaidbinAlMusaiyab:Thathisfathersaid,"IsawtheTree(oftheArRidwan)PledgeofallegianceandwhenIreturnedtoit
later,Iwasnotabletorecognizeit.(ThesubnarratorMahmiJdsaid,AlMusaiyabsaid,'Then;forgotit(i.e.,theTree).)".

NarratedTariqbin'AbdurRahman:
WhenIsetoutforHajj,Ipassedbysomepeopleofferingaprayer,Iasked,"Whatisthismosque?"Theysaid,"ThisistheTreewhere
Allaah's Apostle took the ArRidwan Pledge of allegiance. Then I went to Sa'id bin Musaiyab and informed him about it. Said said,
"MyfathersaidthathewasamongstthosewhohadgiventhePledgeofallegiancetoAllaah'sApostlebeneaththeTree.He(i.e.my
father) said, "When we set out the following year, we forgot the Tree and were unable to recognize it. Then Said (perhaps
ironically) "The companions of the Prophet (saw) could not recognize it; nevertheless, you do recognize it; therefore you have a
betterknowledge.

Bukhari:Book:5Volume:59Hadithno:471NarratedbyAlBarabinAzib:ThattheywereinthecompanyofAllaah'sApostleonthe
day of AlHudaibiya and their number was 1400 or more. They camped at a well and drew its water till it was dried. When they
informedAllaah'sApostleofthat,hecameandsatoveritsedgeandsaid,"Bringmeabucketofitswater."Whenitwasbrought,he
spat and invoked (Allaah) and said, "Leave it for a while." Then they quenched their thirst and watered their riding animals (from
thatwell)tilltheydeparted.Stillthiswellistherebutnowaterexceptfewpigeons.

SHABEEKA grave yard at Makkah: During Jahiliya (ignorance period) Arabs used to bury their female live child in this grave yard.
Umar(r.a)alsoburiedhisdaughterherebeforeconvertingtoIslam.NearbyareasofMasjidalHaramwasdemolishedtoextendthe
Masjidandconstructednewhotelsexceptleavingthisgraveyard.Inhistoryitisrelated,thisareawasdonatedbyKhadijah(r.a).

SHIABEAMIRAREA:JustbeforethetunnelhereProphet(saw)andallhisfamilymembersandfollowerswerekeptonsocial
boycottforthreeyears.LocatednearBanuHashimorBanuTalibMohallaandbelowtheMountAbuQubais.

WADIMUHASSAR:ItwasataplacebetweenMinaandMuzdalifahwhereAllaahdestroyedAbrahaandhisarmyofelephants.This
incident is mentioned in the Surah Feel. The Hadith is reported by Jaabir (r.a) which states that Prophet (saw) walked briskly by
WaadiMuhassar.AnotherreasonisthatthiswastheareawheretheArabsusedtogatherduringthePeriodofIgnorancetolaudthe

ZUBAIDAH CANAL at Mina, Arafa and Mujdhalifa: This canal was built by Zubaydah who was the wife of the Abbaasi Khalifah
Haaroon Al Rasheed (174 A.H. / 791 A.D.). The people of Makkah received water from this canal for twelve hundred years and
Muslimrulerscontinuedrepairingandmaintainingitthroughthecenturiesuntiliteventuallystartedtobreakupandwasnolonger
used.

Rashid.TheMasjidusSakhrahisatthefootofJabalurRahmahandthecanalofZubaydahrunscloseby.

Jibreel (a.s). (O Rasoolullaah) Read (whatever Qur'aan has been revealed to you) in the name of your Rabb Who created
(everything)}. A narration from Abu Hurayrah (r.a) states that when Rasoolullaah was once on Mount Hira with a few Sahabah.
When the mountain started to tremor, Rasoolullaah addressed it saying, "Be still, O Hira because upon your back today are none
other than a Nabi, a Siddeeq and martyrs." With Rasoolullaah (saw) that day was Abu Bakr (r.a) Umar r.a), Uthmaan (r.a) Ali (r.a),
Talha(r.a),Zubayr(r.a)andSa'dbinAbiWaqqaas(r.a)Bukhari Hadith 6448
(The martyrdom of all the six Sahabah mentioned above was prophesied and each of them was blessed with the noble status of
martyrdom.)

JABAL THOWR: Allaah says. {Surah Taubah, verse 40}. Prophet (saw) and Abu Bakr (r.a) spent three nights on the cave and when
theyweresatisfiedthattheMushrikeenhadgivenupthesearch,theyemployedtheservicesofaguidecalledAbdullaahbinUrayqit.
Prophet (saw) then rode a camel while Abu Bakr (r.a) and his slave Aamir bin Fuhayrah (r.a) shared the other. Aamir (r.a) rode
behindAbuBakr(r.a).Inthismanner,theHijrahwascompleted.

BEERTUFLAHfamouswellofUsfaanonthewaytoMadinahnearoldUsfaanfort:PeoplecomplainedtoourProphet(saw)thatthey
haveverylittlewater.Prophet(saw)spilledhissalivaintothiswellandwaterbecameinabundance.WhenyougotoMadinahby
yourowncar,thewellliesatyourrighthandside.

MEEQATMASJIDJERAANAH:Prophet(saw)performedhisthirdUmrahherewearingIhram.Total4Umrahwasperformedbyour

yearofHijrahwhenProphet(saw)returnedfromGhazwahHunain&thebootywasdistributedatJau'raanah,
fromthesamesite,hetookIhramforUMRAH.

JAURAANAH(ORJe'raanahwelloppositetoMasjidJeranaah:Prophet(saw)puthisspearontheground&waterstartedtoflow
out of the sands. And perhaps the place was properly dug later as a well & water from that well was sweeter than other well of
Makkah.TherewasawomaninMakkah,whowasmentallyupset,&shehadahabitofbreakingheryarnintopiecesafterspinningit
firmly,hernamewasRaitahBintAmrBinKa'ab&herLAQAB(nickname)wasJau'raanahORJe'raanah.Hencethesamenamewas
giventotheareawhereshe(probably)lived. Verse:92ofSurahNahalwasrevealedwiththeexampleofRaitah.

Quran Ayahs written in the hill rocks located near JERAANAH near WADI HUNAIN. Inscription markings shows engraved in the
year78Hijri.MostprobablyeitherSahabiorTabayeenengravedthis.Thisissmallareajustlikehill,mostoftherocksengravedwith

Meeqaat of QarnulManzil area is known today by the name of SAIL. It is an ancient city on Makkah ~ Taif road while you cross
NakhlatulYamaaniyyah(goingintheeast).HereliesourMeeqaatMasjidinTaifandweputonIhramfromthisplace.Prophet(saw)
hastraveledonthisroutewhenhewasgoingforGhazwahTaif.StillthisWadiisalsoknownasQARN.

BilalorHilalMasjidonMountAbuQubais.Heremoonwassplit.NowkingspalaceisthereinsteadofthisMasjid.
Mount Abu Qubais: This Mountain is right next to the Masjidul Haraam, adjacent to Mount Safa. Prophet (saw) gave lectures to
MakkahMuslimsinvitingtoIslamanditwashereMoonwassplit.ThemountainderivesitsnamefromapersoncalledAbuQubays
who was the first to build his house there. During the Period of Ignorance, this mountain was also referred to as "ameen"
(trustworthy)becauseitboretheHajarAswadforalongtime.DuringProphetNooh(a.s)flood,MountAbuQubaiscameoutfirst.
AbdullaahbinUmar(r.a)reportsthatwhentheHajarAswadwassentdownfromtheheavensitwasbrightlikewhiteglass.Itwas
then placed on Mount Abu Qubays, where it lay for forty years before Hadhrat Ibrahim (a.s) fixed it to the wall of the Kabah.

span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a mastigure, you
would follow them." We said, "O Allaah's Apostle! (Do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?" He said, "Whom
else?"
