Nowadays, individuals often work for the purpose of gaining an
income. While I disagree that individual take up jobs solely for the purpose
of income, I do believe that individuals would keep their fnancial status in
mind when working.
The reason for this would be that younger generation in the modern
era are given the grace to choose their choice of jobs that they enjoy
most. In current times, nations education system are promoting the
younger generation to e!plore their talent and innate ability thru a variety
of activities, ranging from self"development classes, and counselling
sessions, to leadership classes. These acts create awareness to the
younger generation to select the choices available based on their passion
instead of the income. #urthermore, parents in the modern era are more
supportive towards their childrens dreams and action. #or e!ample,
children in an Indian family in the late $% century were only allow to
choose either a doctor or lawyer as careers path. &owever, nowadays
parents of Indian families support their children dreams and play more of a
supporting role in careers decision making.
&owever, I do believe that some individuals place money as their
driving force. This is because of evolving materialistic society. In today
society, younger generation are brought up in a sense that a higher
fnancial status would give them the authority and power to dictate in the
society. To illustrate this, younger generation are taught since young either
thru informal teaching by parents or peer"pressure from wealthy friends
that money drives the nations economy and placing an individual higher
up in the hierarchy. In addition, younger generation are more ambitious as
compared to the olden days. They are more likely to improve their
standard of living thru purchasing e!pensive branded materials and living
lu!uriously. These forces drives an individual to work for money instead of
passion in a particular career choices.
In conclusion, younger generation are to consider carrier option by
the drive of passion and to be taught that passion are to be placed utmost
because passion would in turn generate promising incoming in any feld of
choice.
