It is to inform that , in reference cited, an estimate was submitted for an amount
of Rs 6,45,000/- towards up keeping of foors in power house building for a period of
three months from 01.05.2014. to 31.07.2014 for approval .
In this connection it is to inform that , in view of emergency an agency was
fxed by calling tenders for one month to carry out the up keeping works in power
house building on pending receipt of approval from APPDCL .
Hence in this connection it is requested to arrange approval for above work
for regularization of payment to frm for one month, and fxing agency for another
two months for up keeping of foors in power house building.

Clarifcation on misconceptions of local public by way of publication in local

This is to inform that some of the local public are opposing the Construction of
Ashpond in the proposed location with a preset mind stating that the construction of
ashpond in the vicinity of 5 villages is environmentally harmful and not safe for
humans, animals , agriculture etc inspite of various clarifcations given to them from
time to time. Keeping in view of commissioning the units the Construction of Ashpond
is to be commenced at the earliest. But some of the villagers surrounding SDSTPS who
are opposing the Construction of Ashpond are in an agitation mood. Therefore it is
proposed to furnish Clarifcation on misconceptions of local public by way of
publication in local edition of various news papers well before commencement of the
construction works.
The draft copy of the Clarifcation to be published in Telugu is herewith enclosed
for favor of perusal. Further it is requested to arrange necessary approval for publishing
the matter in local edition of news papers like EENADU, ANDHRAJYOTHI, SAKSHI,
PRAJA SAKTHI, ANDHRA PRABHA& DECCAN CHRONICLE. If approved action will
be initiated for publication of matter in suitable size in the local/District edition and the
bills will be processed for making payment at a later date based on actuals .

even if the alternate land proposed for construction of Ashpond near Krishnapatnam
village , the same will efect the operation of Units as MOEF clearance is to be obtained
afresh after conducting of public hearing. Further the reengineering has to be done in
view of the increased distance and also there might be extreme resistance from the
villagers of Krishnapatnam as the proposed alternate land is in the vicinity of the
village. Thereby the proposed alternate location of ash pond is not much feasible.
In view of the above it is requested to take further necessary action please.

District Collector ,Nellore during the meeting held on 05-10-2013 ,instructed the
Irrigation Department ofcials for taking up the connected works to restore the damaged
irrigation canals and drains for efcient and designed discharge. Accordingly The
Superintending Engineer ,Irrigation circle, S.P.S.R. Nellore Dist inspected irrigation
canals and drains near Nelatur on 07-10-2013 and prepared an estimate for Rs.16.66
Lakhs and addressed a letter to this ofce vide ref. cited seeking administrative
approval.
Further The Superintending Engineer ,Irrigation circle, S.P.S.R. Nellore Dist
requested to deposit the amount or to execute the work by APGENCO with the guidance
of Irrigation Department.

regard it is to inform that based on the representation of villagers The District
Collector ,Nellore during the meeting held on 27-09-2013 instructed APGENCO ofcials
for taking up the connected works for Desilting the tank bed and formation of bunds to
the Chinna cheruvu of Nelatur (vi) in Muthukur (M) to increase the capacity of tank for
utilization by the local fshermen community.
During the review meeting of progress on 05-10-2013 it was informed that the
attempt is made for excavating the tank bed and some of the villagers severely
obstructed the work stating that they are cultivating the lands of tank bed since long
time and The Tahsildhar, Muthukur informed that about 17.10 Acres of such tank land is
encroached for which the District Collector ordered Eviction and to proceed with the
work and the issue of compensation if any will be looked into at a later date.
A detailed report in regard to the encroachments in 17.59 Acres is furnished
vide reference cited by The Tahsildhar, Muthukur, S.P.S.R. Nellore Dist to this ofce for
arranging compensation @1,68,000/- per acre to the encroachers.
In view of the above it is requested to examine the matter and necessary orders
may please be arranged to be issued for payment of compensation to the 24 number
encroachers for an amount of Rs.29,55,120.00 as recommended by the revenue
department.

This is to submit that an estimate for an amount of Rs.4,55,000-00 is submitted

cited requesting to accord general approval to take up the work from
01.12.2013 to 31.03.2014 . Also all the three Main Contractors were addressed vide

that the APGENCO under inevitable circumstances is forced to resort for
arranging the upkeep such common areas deliberately neglected by the contracting
agencies regularly duly back charging the expenditure to all the three agencies equally.
In anticipation of approval of APPDCL , pending sanction of the estimate an agency is
fxed to take up the work of Up keeping of foors in Power House Building for a period
of one month by issuing a provisional L.O.I. The house keeping work is done from
01.02.2014 to 28.02.2014. The expenditure incurred for the work for about of Rs 1,15,000-
00 is to be regularized and payment is to be arranged for the work done.
In view of the above it is requested to examine the matter and necessary orders
may please be arranged to be issued for payment to the work done and for recovery of
the expenditure from the bills of the contractor.
