Formative Assessment Website
The website that I visited was called Polleverywhere. I think this website is easy to use
for students in grades K thru 5. http://pollev.com/carolynpatri087 It has written instructions
and it reads them to you also. It allowed me to create polls (questions) and gave me a choice to
have one answer or multiple choice answers. It also gave me the option to include a picture
with my question. You can download a picture or you can click the camera feature. It has
options for live chat, presentations, and screen shots. It also shows you how people responded
to your question. I think this assessment would be formative, because it helps the students and
teacher know where they are academically. It also shows the teachers email address on the
page. I would use the data collected to decide if the student would benefit from learning in
small or large group settings.
To summit responses to my question go to: http://pollev.com/carolynpatri087
