This app will server as an all-in-one remote control between a PC and Android de

vice. The device will connect to the PC over the internet over a VNC server. Aft
er the app is connected to the desktop the client will by brought to the main sc
reen and have the option of choosing which function they would like to use.
Function #1: Mouse and Keyboard Mode.
In this mode the app will serve as a touchpad mouse and keyboard. They will be a
ble to move their finger on their device and it will control their mouse on thei
r PC. There should also be left and right click buttons like a laptop has in a m
ouse.. The client should be able to hold the right click and drag the mouse like
they are able to do on a normal mouse.
Under the mouse will be the keyboard. If it can be done easily I would prefer a
full keyboard but if this can not be done easily then please feel free to use th
e standard Android keyboard. There should be small tab above the keyboard that t
hey can use to lower or minimize the keyboard. Minimizing the keyboard would put
the mouse into full screen mode. Once it is minimized there should be the tab i
n the bottom of the screen which the client can press in order to bring the keyb
oard back up again.
Function #2: Presentation Mode.
This mode will be a simple function which controls presentations whether they ma
y be in Power Point or in any other software. There will be three buttons. Fowar
d, Back, and End Presentation. The Foward button will just be in control of the
Right arrow key. The Back button will be in control of the Left Arrow key, and t
he End Presentation button will be in control of the Escape key. Once they press
a button it should execute that key.
Function #3: Windows Media Player Mode.
This mode will serve as a remote contorl for Windows Media Player. It will do so
through various shortcut keys. I would like if this mode were to be designed to
look like a remote controller.
The controls avaliable in this mode should be as followed:
Mute the volume
Mute the volume- F7
Decrease the volume- F8
Increase the Volume- F9
Toggle Full Screen- F11
Play or Pause- Ctrl + P
Next Item- Ctrl + F
Previous Item- Ctrl + P
Function #4: Remote File Mode.
This mode will allow clients to control the file and folders on their computer.
They should be able to copy and paste files and folders. Create new folders, del
ete files, rename files and folders, transfer files over to their mobile device,
and transfer files from their mobile device to their PC. This should look like
a regular file explorer. If it is possible: Users can edit simple files like .TX
T directly from the app and have them saved on their PC.
Notes:
Once the user opens the app they should recieve the page where they enter the IP
address of the VNC server.
On the main screen they should be able to scroll back and furth between options
and click on the one they would like to use.
There should be a disconnect button at the bottom of the main screen that will b
ring them back to the initial screen.
At the bottom of each mode there should be a button that they can press that wil
l bring them back to the Mode Selection screen.
