Is that an actual Atchison in the video or a remake/knock-off (Daewoo or whatever)?
Anyone know?

I can definitely move my finger faster than that guns full auto cycle rate. But it would be fun for just shooting stuff.

That is the craziest field stripping I have ever seen.
7/6/2008 12:22:06 PM
according to futureweapons blackwater redesigned it.
supposedly virtually maintenance free and low recoil.

Reminds me of the UAS12s they have issued to the guards at the stock exchange...

What, no bolt hold-open on the last shot?
7/6/2008 1:09:51 PM
I'd like to go skeet shooting with one.

Those are the best pictures of the original Atchison I've ever seen and I've been a fan of it for a while. Thanks.

Too big.
Fun to shoot, but not practical.

Looks cool, but heavy. Also, is it just me, or does it look like a pain in the ass to try to switch mags? The guy had to fit the mag on that rail. I imagine that if you were trying to
do it fast it would be difficult.

I've got a few in the works. I've got a set of laminated Russian RPK furniture and I'm trying to decide if it needs to be on a Saiga 308 or a Saiga 12. I think the Saiga 12 might
be the hot ticket, especially if the drums ever materialize.

Max was a friend of mine before his death in Atlanta Georgia.
I have several photos of Max in our back yard playing with his neat
stuff,,and me shooting his prototype 'streetsweeper' which I liked
better than his final version..
I was siting at table when they decided to name it,,I voted against the name 'streetsweeper'.As you know my input was not heeded..
Max was one of the most interesting person I had the honor of knowing..Strange guy
but a giant of an inventor.. ..He is missed..
