Neutral Axis: NeutralAxis:
Whenahomogeneousbeamissubjectedtoelasticbending,theneutralaxis(NA)willpassthroughthe
centroidofitscrosssection,buttheorientationoftheNAdependsontheorientationofthemoment , p
vectorandthecrosssectionalshapeofthebeam.
Whentheloadingisunsymmetrical(atanangle)asseeninthefigurebelow,theNAwillalsobeatsome

Restrictions:
