Markets started the week on
negative note due to weak IIP nos
but soon gained momentum in the
later half mainly led by Banking, IT
stocks which pulled the indices to
close near their resistance. Nifty
future showed strong pull back from
7800 and headed towards 7900. CPI
data figuring 6.46% is seen as
positive for index and hence gap up
opening is expected. It is likely to
move in a range where 7950 may
act as resistance while support is
seen in the range of 7870-7820.
