The Great Royal Circus last owner Pratap Walavalkar was died on 22-12-2002
and after his death his wife Snehalatha Walavalkar along with Ajay Shankar,
Ashok Shankar with K.M. Sanjeev became partners, where as Animal Welfare
Board of India did blunder mistake vide their letter No. 9-14/2001-PCA dated
31-5-2004 and issued performing animals certificate in favour of a person, who
died two year before, how it could be possible?, where as 4 Elephants, 4 horses,
15 dogs, 9 Cockatoos, 2 Macaw along with 7 camels were registered in favour
of dead person but said circus have at present two unregistered Emu, 4 horses, 3
camels, 11 dogs, 9 kakutuwa, one female elephant, one Kakutuwa feather
broken, permanently disabled needs immediate rescue and rehabilitation, where
are the rest three elephants? As per the Chief Wildlife Warden of Delhi letter
No. 3880/CWLW/Delhi/2007/5299 dated 5-12-2007 communication was made
with the Conservator of Forests, Assam Circle, Tezpur about microchip No.
958000000796166 because ownership was issued by them, then how it can be
possible that same microchip No. 958000000796166 have another female
elephant, ownership certificate issued by the Conservator of Forests (T), Thane
in Maharashtra, para No. 16 of ownership certificate assessed the value of
elephant: As per prevalent market rated, when trading of elephant is banned in
India?, how and why camels are being shifted in goods transport vehicles, with
out any rules and regulations, violating the section 3, 11 and 38 of the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and this circus freely performing all
over India, since long, at present stationed at Delhi shifted from Jodhpur
(Rajasthan). Central Zoo Authority of India also issued registration certificate
under section 38-H of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 without consulting the
AWBI and inspection of circus, we can smell criminal conspiracy along with
syndicate between AWBI, CZA and custodians of said circus so called owners.
How transit permit is being issued by the concerned CWLW's, permission be
granted to perform in the city like Delhi, with out verification of actual facts?
Where are three elephants registered with the AWBI, goes missing, illegal
traded and how microchip of present elephant changed, camels are being shifted,
4 camels are also missing? Hence AWBI performing certificate is illegal, needs
immediate cancellation with FIR against all offenders including officials of the
AWBI and CZA, CWLW's as well read with the 120-B, 420 IPC and all so
called performing animals needs to be immediately rescued and rehabilitation,
performance permission in Delhi also needs immediate cancellation, movement
of all animals be banned from Delhi, might be present elephant belongs to
Jambo circus then where are the elephants of Great Royal circus?

In 1906, Vishwanath Madhuskar of Indian Bahadur Circus and Sitaram Gangaram
Walawalkar of Parashuram Circus entered into a partnership and launched Madhuskars Royal
Circus. In the year 1920, Sitaram Walavalkar changed the name of the Circus to The Great
Royal Circus. Narayan Rao Walawalkar, joined the circus as an artiste when he was a twelve
year old boy. After the demise of Vishwanath Madhuskar in 1946, Narayan Rao Walavalkar
became a partner of The Great Royal Circus.Narayan Rao Walavalkar was a multi-faceted artiste
with amazing skills as a wild animal trainer. He played an important role in making the Circus
well known the world over. Under his dynamic leadership, The Great Royal Circus went on a
world tour in October 1962. Their first stop-over was Eden in South Africa. It is the only Indian
Circus which toured the globe extensively for around 21 years and presented shows in 24
countries. He also has the unique distinction of being the only Indian circus owner to have hosted
Presidents, Prime Ministers, Kings and Queens of the countries that they had toured like France,
Somalia, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iraq, Tanzania, Singapore, Malaysia, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon,
Kenya, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius, Sudan and Indonesia.
