Viguerie Predicts 'Absolute' Bloodbath in 2014 GOP Primaries
Tuesday, 22 Oct 2013 07:15 PM
By David A. Patten

Movement-conservative icon, author, and direct-market pioneer Richard Viguerie threw down the
gauntlet to establishment Republicans and the GOP leadership Tuesday, charging that conservatives
"have been betrayed, abandoned by our leaders, and that includes Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Eric
Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, [and] Reince Priebus at the Republican National Committee."

Viguerie and other grass-roots conservative leaders are warning that Republicans who voted to end the
shutdown on terms favorable to President Barack Obama and the Democrats will face major primary
opposition in 2014.
"It's a civil war in the GOP," Viguerie declared Saturday in The New York Times.
Asked in an exclusive Newsmax interview Tuesday whether Republicans who went along with ending the
shutdown will face a political bloodbath, Viguerie replied: "Oh, absolutely. It's a war that's been going on
for 101 years, but limited-government conservatives have not been fully engaged. But now they are
engaged."
Viguerie had no hesitation in naming who will be challenged, either.
"We need to primary every single one of these big-government Republicans," he said,
"including Lamar Alexander, Mitch McConnell, [and] Thad Cochran down in Mississippi is being
challenged.
"I hope John Cornyn in Texas is primaried," he said, "and of course John Boehner is going to be
primaried. I predict Eric Cantor will receive . . . [a] limited-government, constitutional-conservative
challenge, [and] maybe [House Majority Whip] Kevin McCarthy, a key person there, [and] Pete Sessions
from Texas."
Thanks to the shutdown vote, Viguerie said, "It's black and white who's on our side and
who's on the big-government side.
The ConservativeHQ.com founder's blistering broadside reflects the growing backlash on the right
over how the shutdown ended.
On Monday, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told radio talk host Steve Malzberg:
"You now have 87 members of the House and 37 members of the Senate that you know caved in. And
the first thing I would be doing is, in every one of their districts, in every one of their states, I would
activate the political activists in those districts and states to let those people know that they
need to stand strong and they need to represent their constituents."
The Club for Growth, the Senate Conservatives Fund, and the Madison Project are among
the organizations pledging to support grass-roots candidates willing to toss their hats
into the ring against establishment, incumbent Republicans.
804

On Monday, Club for Growth President Chris Chocola told Newsmax he prefers the word "transition"
over "civil war" to describe the current state of the Republican Party.
"We're in a transition," said Chocola, a former congressman from Indiana. "You have people who are
creating some chaos because they think that Republicans ought to stand for what Republicans
say they're for, and they're willing to fight for that, and that it is better to fight and lose a
battle but continue with the war."
Viguerie left little doubt that movement conservatives intend to prevail over more pragmatic
Republicans, telling Newsmax:
"I'm very, very encouraged now because with the arrival of Obama and the tea party, conservatives at
the grassroots level are engaged. They see the problem out there, and it's entirely possible within
the next three or four years conservatives can take over the Republican Party and govern
America."
Viguerie predicted the president's healthcare reforms will be the central issue in the 2014
elections, adding, "It's going to propel a lot of conservatives to election victories."
He said Democrats will soon begin to exert "enormous pressure" on Obama to delay ObamaCare until
after the 2014 election. But he doubts they'll be successful.
"The Democrats realize now that what looked like a big victory a week or so ago may turn into ashes in
their mouth," he said.
Viguerie is a strong supporter of Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli's gubernatorial race against
former Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe.
Cuccinelli is a favorite of movement conservatives owing to his staunch opposition to the president's
healthcare reforms. But polls show McAuliffe is leading the race by nearly 8 points.
For Cuccinelli to win, Viguerie said, he will need to take his campaign back from his consultants and focus
his message on a few key issues, such as ObamaCare and the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
Making the election a referendum on those two issues, he said, would give the Cuccinelli campaign a big
boost.
Viguerie advised other GOP candidates to follow a similar course in 2014.
"Republicans will have a big victory as long as we don't have those Republican
consultants pushing forward moderate, big-government-type policies. People will reject
that," he said.

Saudi diplomats now promise a 'major shift' in relations with the U.S. over inaction in
the conflict in Syria
Secretary of State John Kerry says he is committed to keeping a good relationship with
the Saudis

Upset at President Barack Obama's policies on Iran and Syria, members of Saudi Arabia's
ruling family are threatening a rift with the United States that could take the alliance
between Washington and the kingdom to its lowest point in years.
806

Saudi Arabia's intelligence chief is vowing that the kingdom will make a 'major shift' in
relations with the United States to protest perceived American inaction over Syria's civil
war as well as recent U.S. overtures to Iran, a source close to Saudi policy said on
Tuesday.
Prince Bandar bin Sultan told European diplomats that the United States had failed to
act effectively against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict, was growing closer to Tehran, and had failed to back Saudi support for Bahrain
when it crushed an anti-government revolt in 2011, the source said.
'The shift away from the U.S. is a major one,' the source close to Saudi policy said. 'Saudi
doesn't want to find itself any longer in a situation where it is dependent.'
It was not immediately clear whether the reported statements by Prince Bandar, who
was the Saudi ambassador to Washington for 22 years, had the full backing of King
Abdullah.
The growing breach between the United States and Saudi Arabia was also on display in
Washington, where another senior Saudi prince criticized Obama's Middle East policies,
accusing him of 'dithering' on Syria and Israeli-Palestinian peace.
In unusually blunt public remarks, Prince Turki al-Faisal called Obama's policies in Syria
'lamentable' and ridiculed a U.S.-Russian deal to eliminate Assad's chemical weapons.
He suggested it was a ruse to let Obama avoid military action in Syria.
'The current charade of international control over Bashar's chemical arsenal would be
funny if it were not so blatantly perfidious. And designed not only to give Mr. Obama an
opportunity to back down (from military strikes), but also to help Assad to butcher his
people,' said Prince Turki, a member of the Saudi royal family and former director of
Saudi intelligence.
The United States and Saudi Arabia have been allies since the kingdom was declared in
1932, giving Riyadh a powerful military protector and Washington secure oil supplies.
The Saudi criticism came days after the 40th anniversary of the October 1973 Arab oil
embargo imposed to punish the West for supporting Israel in the Yom Kippur war.
That was one of the low points in U.S.-Saudi ties, which were also badly shaken by the
September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were
Saudi nationals.
Saudi Arabia gave a clear sign of its displeasure over Obama's foreign policy last week
when it rejected a coveted two-year term on the U.N. Security Council in a display of
anger over the failure of the international community to end the war in Syria and act on
other Middle East issues.
Prince Turki indicated that Saudi Arabia will not reverse that decision, which he said was
a result of the Security Council's failure to stop Assad and implement its own decision on
the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
807

'There is nothing whimsical about the decision to forego membership of the Security
Council. It is based on the ineffectual experience of that body,' he said in a speech to the
Washington-based National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
In London, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said he discussed Riyadh's concerns when
he met Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal in Paris on Monday.
Kerry said he told the Saudi minister no deal with Iran was better than a bad deal. 'I
have great confidence that the United States and Saudi Arabia will continue to be the
close and important friends and allies that we have been,' Kerry told reporters.
Prince Bandar is seen as a foreign policy hawk, especially on Iran. The Sunni Muslim
kingdom's rivalry with Shi'ite Iran, an ally of Syria, has amplified sectarian tensions
across the Middle East.
A son of the late defense minister and crown prince, Prince Sultan, and a protg of the
late King Fahd, he fell from favor with King Abdullah after clashing on foreign policy in
2005.
But he was called in from the cold last year with a mandate to bring down Assad,
diplomats in the Gulf say. Over the past year, he has led Saudi efforts to bring arms and
other aid to Syrian rebels.
'Prince Bandar told diplomats that he plans to limit interaction with the U.S.,' the source
close to Saudi policy said.
This happens after the U.S. failed to take any effective action on Syria and Palestine.
Relations with the U.S. have been deteriorating for a while, as Saudi feels that the U.S. is
growing closer with Iran and the U.S. also failed to support Saudi during the Bahrain
uprising," the source said.
The source declined to provide more details of Bandar's talks with the diplomats, which
took place in the past few days.
But he suggested that the planned change in ties between the energy superpower and
the United States would have wide-ranging consequences, including on arms purchases
and oil sales.
Saudi Arabia, the world's biggest oil exporter, ploughs much of its earnings back into
U.S. assets. Most of the Saudi central bank's net foreign assets of $690 billion are
thought to be denominated in dollars, much of them in U.S. Treasury bonds.
'All options are on the table now, and for sure there will be some impact,' the Saudi
source said.
He said there would be no further coordination with the United States over the war in
Syria, where the Saudis have armed and financed rebel groups fighting Assad.
The kingdom has informed the United States of its actions in Syria, and diplomats say it
has respected U.S. requests not to supply the groups with advanced weaponry that the
West fears could fall into the hands of al Qaeda-aligned groups.
808

Saudi anger boiled over after Washington refrained from military strikes in response to a
poison gas attack in Damascus in August when Assad agreed to give up his chemical
weapons arsenal.
Representative Chris Van Hollen, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives'
Democratic leadership, told Reuters' Washington Summit on Tuesday that the Saudi
moves were intended to pressure Obama to take action in Syria.
'We know their game. They're trying to send a signal that we should all get involved
militarily in Syria, and I think that would be a big mistake to get in the middle of the
Syrian civil war,' Van Hollen said.
'And the Saudis should start by stopping their funding of the al Qaeda-related groups in
Syria. In addition to the fact that it's a country that doesn't allow women to drive,' said
Van Hollen, who is close to Obama on domestic issues in Congress but is less influential
on foreign policy.
Saudi Arabia is concerned about signs of a tentative reconciliation between Washington
and Tehran, something Riyadh fears may lead to a 'grand bargain' on the Iranian nuclear
program that would leave Riyadh at a disadvantage.
Prince Turki expressed doubt that Obama would succeed in what he called an 'open
arms approach' to Iran, which he accused of meddling in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq
and Bahrain.
'We Saudis observe President Obama's efforts in this regard. The road ahead is arduous,'
he said. 'Whether (Iranian President Hassan) Rouhani will succeed in steering Iran
toward sensible policies is already contested in Iran. The forces of darkness in Qom and
Tehran are well entrenched.'
The U.N. Security Council has been paralyzed over the 31-month-old Syria conflict, with
permanent members Russia and China repeatedly blocking measures to condemn
Assad.
Saudi Arabia backs Assad's mostly Sunni rebel foes. The Syrian leader, whose Alawite
sect is derived from Shi'ite Islam, has support from Iran and the armed Lebanese Shi'ite
movement Hezbollah. The Syrian leader denounces the insurgents as al Qaeda-linked
groups backed by Sunni-ruled states.
In Bahrain, home of the U.S. Fifth Fleet, a simmering pro-democracy revolt by its Shi'ite
majority has prompted calls by some in Washington for U.S. ships to be based
elsewhere.
Many U.S. economic interests in Saudi Arabia involve government contracts in defense,
other security sectors, health care, education, information technology and construction.

Mikes rationalization-letter [parsed-out last-night] is homologous with that of a Dem {Jim Himes [CT-5]},
recognizing the observation that the latter predictably contains more strident word-choice:

In Washington last week, I was finally given the opportunity to vote to reopen the
government and to end the threat to our nations full faith and credit. Weve put a two
week period of self-destructive lunacy behind us. It is hard for me to overstate how
frustrated I am by this experience. Not one meaningful or tangible thing was achieved
by shutting down the government. Congress earned another downgrade in its
estimation. Ironically, while the tea party that instigated the madness saw its polling
numbers crater, the Affordable Care Act actually rose in popularity.
In the real world, families lost paychecks, young students missed school, and seniors and
children missed meals. The uncertainty and lost spending caused by the shutdown cost
the American people billions in productivity and wages. The possibility of a default has
marred Americas standing in the world and tarnished our capacity for leadership.
If there is the vaguest shimmer of a silver lining in all this, it is that I dont believe the
shutdown/default card will be played again. Hence, we have an opportunity to turn to
real governing on issues that matter. The American people want a renewed focus on
jobs, immigration reform, long-term deficit reduction, and legislation that will invest in
our future. The votes exist, and it is time to move forward with more bipartisan work.
Of-interest is a tweet by Dana Bash of CNN: Senior Dem source tells me to expect every Sen.-Dem.

Death Panels Alive And Well In Canada And Coming Here Via ObamaCare
by Daniel John Sobieski [October 22, 2013 at 9:00 pm]
Canada's Supreme Court ruled that under Ontarios "law of the land,", a government
board, not the family or doctors, has the ultimate power to pull the plug on a patient.
Lost in the discussion of defunding ObamaCare and the failed effort in Congress is the
fact that failure means the government's ability to defund your life through the
811

ObamaCare's Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) remains. IPAB is regarded by
many, starting with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, as a death panel whose decisions
based on cost effectiveness would result in health care rationing.
A glimpse of this brave new world can be had by casting a glance at our neighbor to the
north. There, Canada's Supreme Court ruled 5-2 that under Ontario's Health Care
Consent Act, which has been on the books for nearly two decades, doctors cannot
overrule a family's wishes for an incapacitated patient regarding life or death decisions,
but an administrative tribunal can.
In 1996, Ontario's provincial legislature created the Consent and Capacity Board, a body
with the power to make the final decision when doctors and families disagree on
keeping a patient alive with continued treatment or pulling the plug, a conflict that can
result in endless legal battles.
At issue in the Ontario case was the fate of Hassan Rasouli, a retired engineer who
suffered complications following brain surgery three years ago and has been in a
vegetative state in a Toronto hospital ever since. Doctors say there is no hope of
recovery but the family doesn't want to turn off life support.
The court ruled that the doctors could not overrule the family's wishes, but are able to
appeal to the Consent and Capacity Board, which could. Canada has a full-blown single-
payer system, which President Obama is undoubtedly aiming for. So the question of
when it is cost-effective to treat or keep patients alive becomes more of a matter of
space and budget rather than a medical issue.
The question of whether one's life is worth saving or one's condition is worth treating
remains a key part of ObamaCare, even while being eclipsed by political maneuverings
and enrollment difficulties. And having that decision made by a body such as IPAB has
led to legislative efforts to pull the plug on ObamaCare itself.
A House bill to repeal IPAB attracted 22 Democratic co-sponsors. Arkansas Democrat
Sen. Mark Pryor co-sponsored a Senate repeal bill after spending the previous three
years defending IPAB. The Senate and House measures had, at last count, 32 and 192
co-sponsors, respectively.

hereby submit this Bill of Particulars regarding the alleged misconduct of a trusted Congressman, and
consequently aver [under penalty of condemnation by peers and Democrats] the following facts:

The Parties

1. Registered Republican Electorate *RRE+ residing in Pennsylvanias 8
th
Congressional District.
These ever-suffering voters thought they had found a trustworthy friend in the incumbent-attorney.

2. Michael G. Fitzpatrick *Mike+ completing his 3
rd
Term *interrupted by Pat Murphys brief stint+
representing Pennsylvanias 8
th
Congressional District [and pledged to retire after having served his 3
rd

consecutive term [due to recognition that term-limits are intended to forestall infection by D.C.-types].
This public-servant has forgotten [or never intended to uphold] his major campaign promise of 2010.

819

3. The Republican Party *GOP+ in existence since 1857 *having displaced ineffectual Whigs with
Radical Republicans who recognized the necessity to fight slavery and, as a result, to save the Union+.
This entity is experiencing a civil war triggered by Senators Ted Cruz [R-Texas] and Mike Lee [R-Utah],
recognizing both that the Republican Establishment has signaled intent to mount a primary against Lee
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/10/25/Republican-Establishment-
Signals-Primary-War-Against-Utah-Tea-Party-Senator-Mike-Lee
and that true-Conservatives are responding in-kind [as per the gravamen of the current-complaint].

The Background

4. Mike pledged to oppose ObamaCare ["I oppose universal healthcare and will do everything I can
to stop it. You have my promise to repeal the Affordable Care Act while fighting to keep the provisions
we know are good policy," he said in a statement when the Supreme Court upheld the plan in June
2012+; As for the debt problem, Fitzpatrick said he takes his call for fiscal discipline seriously, and there-
fore returned $160,000 of his office's nearly $1.4 million budget to the U.S. Treasury. Used furniture,
refurbished electronic devices and telephonic town halls helped him achieve the savings, he said.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/campaign-2012/candidates/michael-g-fitzpatrick-51178/

5. On 8/4/2011, Mike said that he supported raising the debt ceiling but, like fellow Republicans
in Congress, dug in his heels by insisting that a raised ceiling be balanced by a cut in federal spending.
http://mvbulldogbanter.blogspot.com/2011/08/fitzpatrick-town-hall.html

6. A coalition of conservative activists living in the 8
th
Congressional District [and linked nationally]
approved three Press Releases related specifically to ObamaCare, with the third [10/5/2013] reading:
We urge Congressman Fitzpatrick do everything possible to support funding the government without
voting for a Continuing Resolution that funds ObamaCare. Signatories included the following:

It would appear that our strategy of "compartment" funding is beginning to gain
traction. From what I've been watching on C-SPAN, including Mike's Floor speech this
morning, the "R's" have perhaps finally "seen the light"! Mike's speech was very
passionate and very telling...if a "moderate" like Mike will speak out against the
Democrats with such passion, then just maybe the rest of the 230 Republicans in the
House and the 47 Republicans in the Senate will stand firm on this new proposal.

On a personal note, I want to thank all members of our "Group" for their steadfast
support and participation in what we've done so far! Dr. Bob, as Dave Sommers likes to
say: "You're a brilliant man" and thanks to all of your "blasts", we're all "armed and
dangerous" as we continue this fight. Rest assured my fellow patriots, the "eye of the
storm" has not passed over us yet, so we have to remain vigilant and "ready for battle"
on a moments notice during the next week or so. The fun begins sometime today when
the House votes for this funding/delaying bill and sends it back over to the "Dark Side"
(aka: the Senate) for what will surely be an epic battle among the D's, the R's, the
Conservative R's and the "Squishy" R's. Put on your seatbelts and batten down the
hatches my friends, this is going to be a "E" Ticket ride at Disney World for sure!

8. Another signatory, Linda Rosen, sees this as Tea Party of BucksCo versus Mike Fitzpatrick.

The Vote

9. On 10/16/2013, Mike voted to capitulate in both of these arenas [ObamaCare and Debt Ceiling],
among a minority of members of the GOP-House [noting that Speaker Boehner violated the Hastert Rule
by allowing the bill to be introduced] who inter alia approved: [1]Full Funding of ObamaCare [allowing
for subsidies to be disbursed starting 1/1/2014], [2]Raising the Debt-Ceiling [ceding future control
thereof totally to the POTUS, abdicating the Houses traditional duty, as per Article I, Section 7+, and
[3]Funding Pork *serving as a reward to Senator McConnell for his having abdicated his leadership+.
[http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/house-roll-call-vote-end-govt-shutdown-20593865]

821

10. Following his aforementioned vote, Mike issued a statement [which has been carefully parsed
http://www.scribd.com/doc/178300415/Anti-Obama-CIC] that included the following key-assertion:
While I support efforts to repeal and reform the presidents healthcare law, including a bill I introduced
that would retain the beneficial consumer protections while removing the harmful regulations and
mandates, the October spending deadlines were not the best opportunities to make substantive and
meaningful changes to the presidents healthcare law. ,He has yet to specify a cogent alternatve.-

11. On Facebook, Mike issued additional statements that averred it is time to fight debt/deficit
[http://fitzpatrick.house.gov/press-release/fitzpatrick-house-pass-bipartisan-senate-compromise and
http://fitzpatrick.house.gov/press-release/fitzpatrick-pushes-bill-preventing-government-shutdowns],
clearly abrogating his prior pledge due to overarching concern [not articulated prior to his election(s)]
regarding the urgency of ending the partial governmental shutdown [triggered by the Dems, who had
steadfastly refused to allow passage of numerous bills that would have funded its key-components];
*only+ one of his *only+ 42 friends *Anastasia Nowosielski Przybylski] reacted, to wit: What is going to
happen in three months??? The Rs just showed Obama that he can basically get whatever he wants and
the media will protect him. I am seriously worried what the progressives will push for next.

12. On 10/20/2013, Mike met with selected members of the aforementioned coalition and claimed
[personal communication] that he felt compelled to re-open government and to blow the debt-ceiling;
queries regarding his prior pledges [in both realms] were not presented, and he was not reminded that
tax-monies collected to fund ObamaCare-subsidies were not in a lock-box and, thus, could have been
used to pay debt-interest *thereby calling the bluff promulgated by the Dems and the Media+.

13. Were Mike to win re-election in 2014, he would no longer be beholden to the electorate and
would lack accountability in a fashion comparable to that characterizing the current conduct of the
POTUS [and, thus, would feel even less reticent to support faux Immigration Reform measures

Count One
Misrepresentation

14. Because Mikes vote violated the major pledges he issued during his Congressional Campaign(s),
it is not possible to trust any future promise he might announce, such as to oppose Amnesty *which
could be raised soon, inasmuch as Boehner has established his capacity to violate the Hastert Rule];.

15. Because Mikes vote alienated the RRE from the GOP, he has contributed to the civil war that
appears to loom in conjunction with the 2014 GOP Primary elections affecting both the House/Senate.

Count Two
Electorate Abuse

16. Paragraphs 1-13 are referenced herein as if reproduced in this Paragraph.

17. Mike has abused his faithful conservative-basetaking it for grantedforcing its membership
to become enablers were recidivism to transpire; this assumes conservative leaders harbor a distaste
for mounting a primary-challenge due to worriment the Dems could benefit [despite the inability of the
Dems to have a realistic chance of regaining the House, as per a consensus of political-pundits].
822

Proposed Relief

18. For having violated the public-trust, he should honor his self-imposed term-limit of three terms
[although his service has not been continuous] and announce his intention to retire on 1/1/2015.

Wolf Blitzer [on CNN @ 9 a.m. today] termed the BHO-Promise *you can keep your health-plan and
your doctor+ as having been imprecise *rather than a bald-faced prevarication] while the shocked,
shocked WaPo gave it Four Pinocchios [and the progressive POLITIFACT claimed it was HALF-TRUE];
meanwhile, while everyone focused on the faulty rollout, the major glitchas per todays WSJis
totally ignored: BHOs premeditated murder of the private health insurance marketplace. [And not to

http://www.scribd.com/doc/180501678/anti-Obama-CCVI

It is claimed that the most aggressive anti-tobacco activist is a reformed-smoker *BTW: Ive been an
anti-tobacco activist for 1/3-century, but this is absurd: NYC Raising Cigarette Purchase Age -- to 21.]
This may explain why this physician is so VERY upset with Congressman Mike Fitzpatricks decision to
destroy his credibility among those who have cared for him the most; a formatted version of Guzzardis
blast *dramatizing this betrayal+ is @ the end of this blast, dovetailing with Sundays indictment.

First, it is necessary to probe the politics of the newly-discovered ObamaCare debacle [by the media,
such as msnbc], and then to trace its import [short-term, medium-term and long-term]; pivotal is if the
clamoring for an impeachment probe *advocated by OReilly last night+ will rise to the level enjoyed by
lefties when the SOTU-02 quotes were uttered about Niger, for otherwisethis is solely cinema that
would actually feed into the faux-racism charges that incessantly emanate from the Dems acolytes.
Indeed, it is unclear whether the electorate will care a year from now that 23 TIMES BHO PROMISED
'YOU CAN KEEP YOUR INSURANCE'; that OBAMACARE WIPES OUT INSURANCE PLANS IN THREE STATES
[per CNN: Virginia, Kentucky, and Idaho]; that 900,000 Californians to Lose Insurance [Worse than
Conservatives Thought]; that nervous Dems started distancing themselves from what Sebelius calls the
ObamaCare "debacle"; that OBAMA has taken FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING SURE IT GETS FIXED,
that Obama claims Cancellation Notices Result from 'Substandard' Insurance Plans, and that Rep. Jan
Schakowsky (D-IL) reveled in the prospect [in 2009] that ObamaCare might put the private insurance
industry out of business [noting that, on Wednesday, she told GOP critics of ObamaCares destruction
of individual health policies to get over it+. More detailed discussion of this debacle is @ NRO, and
the following excerpts [from only the past two days] are themselves replete with juicy hyperlinks:

{Congress may wish to trace the authorship and recipients of the IRS-memo that may be a smoking-gun
regarding the intent to destroy the private health insurance marketplaceissued before ObamaCare was
passed/signed/executedand then it can confirm this physicians viewpoint that Cruz was successful,
based on the fact that BHO couldnt dare validate any delay-related efforts contemporaneously,
thereby choosing to weather the storm of a glitchy roll-outno matter now embarrassing.-

The Politics of the ObamaCare Debacle
827

BHOs desire for a single-payer system is legend, and his claim to being The Most Uninformed President
in History is subterfuge; indeed, WOODWARD feels 'SECRET GOVERNMENT' AT ROOT OF PROBLEMS,
and a cnn-anchor said obama-threatens-reporters-who-say-anything-bad-about-him. This phenomenon
is not limited to the Dems, however, noting that a columnist viewed as Conservative *even as he had
bashed Cruz repeatedly], Krauthammer, has staked-out a position that is more Sympathetic to BHOs
Statism than is the Tea Party Movement's Limited Gov't. Illustrating the bipartisan nature of this issue is
the fact that Schweizer Challenges Boehner to Refute Reporting on Pay-to-Play 'Tollbooths' [noting that
this physicians son recalls watching him distributing checks (on C-SPAN) from the Tobacco Institute
while on the House Floor, in the 1990s+ and the fact that Schweizers book, 'Extortion,' accuses AG-
Holder of having abused the law to Enrich his Former Employer and to target Republicans *BHOs AG has
increased Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement actions over 65% compared to Bush-43,
with this gigantic expansion directly benefitting AG-Holders former law firm (Covington & Burling),
which helped write the law and champions its enforcement and compliance.]

Short-Term Import

Much has been written of BHOs unprecedented partisanship and divisiveness, even as a NYT WRITER
CELEBRATES Californias SINGLE-PARTY RULE; for example, as Obama Discusses Budget with Senate and
House Dems, he claims the GOPs 'Obsession with Cutting' is hurting the Economy. His ideology has led
to the decision by the Air Force to drop 'So Help Me God' from its Oath, and mainstream pundits such as
Liz Trotter feel that Society's Lack of Belief in Devil Leads to Culture of Death while others note that the
culture spurs development of projects such as NBC's 'Dracula' that Slam Christians and Tout Darwin.
[Naturally, the coverage of abortion in ObamaCare is c/w this concern, despite the Executive Order
signed post-haste by BHO to get Congressman Stupaks contingent of Dems to put him over-the-top.]

BHOs penchant for secrecy has caused worldwide anger [as discussed earlier with regard to the Saudis],
and has prompted the DOJ to Join the Lawsuit Against Firm That Vetted Snowden; Infiltrates links to
YAHOO, GOOGLE are @ data centers worldwide. The NSA even SPIED ON the POPE and, for Germany,
the NSA Scandal is a Bitter Betrayal (although BHO claims he DID NOT KNOW US SPIED ON MERKEL);
Feinstein Told the NSA to Stop Listening to Allies (as if she also had been clueless), borrowing the Im
shocked, shocked theres gambling here in Ricks Establishment in Casablanca line+. Even GOP
apologists such as Ridge admits he doesn't want NSA looking at HIS email; as a result, Cheney claims that
'Our Friends No Longer Trust Us, Our Adversaries Don't Fear Us' (an assertion applicable worldwide)
[and, regarding politics, claims that the GOP NEEDS NEW GENERATION OF LEADERS, like his DAUGHTER].

Medium-Term Import

As per the prosecutorial discretion policy of BHO/AG-Holder, Deportations plummeted in 2013 and
'Homeland' Approved Over 80% of 'Dreamers' Who Apply for Legal Status [also, recall the new policy of
allowing newly-arriving illegals to remain if they utter magic words conveying worriment that a drug
cartel may be targeting them]. Amazingly, this selective enforcement extends to the NYT [which urged
Obama to Make US a Sanctuary Nation, to Rep. Gutierrez [who claims Paul Ryan is his 'Ally' in Quest for
Amnesty, to the US Chamber of Commerce [which is Leaning On Boehner To Back Immigration Push], to
Corporate Executives [who have joined a Soros-Backed 'Fly-In' Campaign to Push Amnesty, who include
a Coalition of billionaires financing immigration push, and who include high-pressure Zuckerberg], to
828

Sen. McCain *who claims We'll Pass Bill -- Once Primaries Are Over+, to Rep. Nancy Pelosi [who claims
We have the votes+, and to Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) [who said on Sundays Univision Al Punto show
that Boehner promised him the House would hold immigration votes in next month or so. This CA Rep.
became the first Republican to support Pelosi's Immigration Bill [followed by Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen
(FL) and David Valadao (CA)], perhaps explaining why BHO was to meet with House GOP on Immigration.

Counterbalancing these forces [overlapping with the GOP-Establishment, vide infra], Rubio was on Mark
Levins and Sean Hannitys shows claiming to have experienced a historic turnaround, for he now
opposes his own legislation-in-House; this flip-flop was welcomed by both Sen. Mike Lee and Tea Party
Patriots Co-Founder [who is 'Glad']. More to-the-point, the ICE Union Head Claimed Amnesty Backers
Show 'No Concern' for Public Safety [and ICE claimed it Won't Use Info About ObamaCare Applicants to
Enforce Immigration Laws], as some claim simply that Immigration Reform Should Start with Legal
Immigration and Border Security. To summarize the mega-forces at-play, note that the National Journal
has concluded that the Tea Party is Only Thing Stopping Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
{Punctuating the import of this effort, Phyllis Schlafly predicted Amnesty would be Suicidal for the GOP,
even as the Soaring latino population in VA buoys McAuliffe campaign.}

Long-Term Import

As noted supra, Soros Adviser, Obama Donors, Amnesty Activists Formed Group to Target House GOP
Members, yielding corporate interests to seek a Tea Party purge in the House in '14 because Business
and GOP Establishment claim the Tea Party Is Over. As a result, War has been declared on-Tea-Party-by
the GOP-Establishment and Big-Business; they are gearing-Up-for-Battle. You wouldnt know if if you
had just fallen out of the fishing boat, but know that the Rasmussen Poll Shows Country Evenly Split
on Support for Tea Party *and the NBC/WSJ poll shows BHOs popularity has slipped to his nadir, ~43%].
{Former Senator Santorum Bashed Cruz because 'He Did More Harm'; alternative were hot claimed.}

Cruz remains embattled, even as he explained-the stand-your-ground-to-trayvon-martins-mother; also,
bette-midler tried to-attack-ted-cruzs-wife, failed-miserably, then-got-destroyed-on-twitter. This aloof
posture contrasts with the demeanor of Cruz (Obama is 'Absolutely' Abusing Power) and the averments
of Cruz in Iowa [e.g.: Taking Advice from MSM is Like 'Taking Healthcare Advice from Dr. Kevorkian'];
thus, he simply claimed a Pro-Amnesty Fusion TV Pathway to Citizenship is 'Unfair' to Legal Immigrants
[GOP-points made by Cruz during his effort to go on a Pheasant Hunt in Iowa Because he was ignored in
conservative precincts, Grover Norquist Turned to Progressive Media in his Crusade Against Ted Cruz.
Indeed, the New Yorker Film Critic [David Denby] wrote a piece on Cruz [that would have been spiked for
offensive quasi-racism if written about a Dem] claiming, When Ted Cruz lies, he appears to be praying;
'Large Ears...Straight Nose with a Fleshy Tip' comprised his lengthy/demeaning description of his face.

Regarding POTUS-2016 jockeying, [Christie claims I Never 'Hugged' Obama], although video could yield
disparate interpretation of what people assert it has been [allegedly] clamed; Chris Christie blamed
Congress for Unfinished Sandy Repairs [one year following the disaster]. CNN acknowledged that Palin's
Influence Far from Diminishing. Right on cute lib-Senator McCain claims Hillary was an 'Outstanding' Sec
of State...Except for Benghazi; Finally, as if on cue, it was reported by CBS [on '60 Minutes'] that it was
still academic for students to try to Atone for Benghazi Cover-Up; unfortunately, this CBS report will
have to suffice, for now, even as it is modeled after the typical media line eschewing Hillary [and neither
BHO/Hillary were cited by-name in this report] and failed to mention the possibility that U.S. military
commandos made it to Benghazi. Although a POLL suggests 43% Think Benghazi Will Hurt Hilarys
829

Candidacy, Senate Democratic Women Rally Behind Hillary for President; amazingly [perhaps not],
GOLDMAN SACHS paid Hillary nearly half a million -- for two speeches.

Mike

Mike Fitzpatrick broke faith with his trusting electorate and with his loyal base. On 10/16/2013, Mike
Fitzpatrick voted to violate the two highest-priority campaign promises that had gained him support
from a loyal contingent of BucksCo Tea Party Movementwhich he desperately wants to retain.

He demonstrated unequivocally that he cant be trusted to keep his word; just like the cheating, beating,
lying, abusive husband, he failed to honor solemn pledges. Yet, he thinks one meeting with true
conservatives will prompt them to continue blindly to support himbecause hes a nice guy.

Through this one vote, he funded ObamaCare, raised the debt-ceiling, and approved $3 billion of pork;
his behavior was identical to that of Obama-Democrats on these core issues affecting the size and scope
of government. It directly contradicted his prior unambiguous assertions:

His reaction to the Supreme Courts decision to uphold ObamaCare in June, 2012: "I oppose
universal healthcare and will do everything I can to stop it. You have my promise to repeal the
Affordable Care Act while fighting to keep the provisions we know are good policy."
[http://www.washingtontimes.com/campaign-2012/candidates/michael-g-fitzpatrick-51178/]

His platform regarding fiscal responsibility on 8/4/2011: Mike said that he supported raising
the debt ceiling but, like fellow Republicans in Congress, dug in his heels by insisting that a

Regarding these fundamental issues affecting Americas future, his conduct has been two-faced,
duplicitous, disingenuous, deceptive, deceitful, and dishonest; he knew or should have known that this
action would undermine any ability to believe anything he might state in the future [such as whether he
would pledge to oppose granting any type of amnesty to illegal/undocumented immigrants/people].

830

Mike Fitzpatrick bears false witness regarding the fundamental battle against statism and collectivism,
for his rationalization for his behavior essentially capitulates to the overarching desire to end a partial
government slowdown. When trying to patch-up relationships with people he has spurned, he violates
the Constitutional mandate that Congress control spending legislation [Article I, Section 7] and therefore
insults the Divine Right of American Citizens to expect government to be limited. Indeed, this crass
dishonesty abrogates one of the Ten Commandments.

This is not hyperbole, for he has declared himself to be among the K St./Wall St. contingent that is
fighting the efforts of Main St. to attain control over an errant Republican Party. PIVOTAL is the fact
that he would not be able to be held accountable because he wouldnt be running for re-election in 14.
[This is comparable to the status enjoyed by the POTUS, although BHO is bossy and sinister.]

Both Dems and Rs can concur THIS is FUNNY.

Judy Walkman, a professional genealogy researcher, discovered that Senator Harry
Reid's great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery
in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor.

The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows in Montana
territory, with the following inscription on its back: 'Remus Reid, horse thief, sent to
Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times.
Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted and hanged in 1889.'

When Judy recently e-mailed Senator Harry Reid for information about their great-great
uncle, Harry Reids staff sent back this biographical sketch for her genealogy research:

"Remus Reid was a famous cowboy in the Montana Territory. His
business empire grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian
assets and intimate dealings with the Montana railroad. Beginning in
1883, he devoted several years of his life to government service, finally
831

taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroad. In 1887, he was a
key player in a vital investigation run by the renowned Pinkerton
Detective Agency. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important
civic function held in his honor when the platform upon which he was
standing collapsed."

Compilations are oriented towards preserving key-info that might have been overlooked but, above-all,
towards suggesting potential remedies; certain hyperlinks are [sadly] entertaining, certainly moreso
than broadcast-fiction *such as Veep+ that purports to mainstream major political initiatives. Truth is,
indeed, stranger than fictionbut its necessary to translate thoughts into action; as usual, if anything
crucial has been missed, please so-inform. Otherwise, this fast turn-around contains a dire warning: Day
after rushed White House meeting with Jewish Leaders, Simon Wiesenthal Center calls out BHO on Iran
and White-House-Pressures-Jewish-Groups-Not-to-Lobby-for-New-Iran-Sanctions, as WSJ/NBC-polling
[finally] demonstrates BHOs personal likeability has plummeted. {Also, an ongoing source of
lamentation is the extremism-of-reform-Judaisms leader-eric-yoffie, while the name of the irs-leaker
who divulged conservative groups confidential tax information to fec has emerged.}

Mike Henry [Heritage Action] elucidated the fraudulent Debt Disapproval Resolution
*which Mike Fitzpatrick supported+ thusly: The House will consider a resolution to
disapprove of the recent $600 billion debt limit increase. It is a meaningless show vote.
The recent Default Prevention Action funded the government and ObamaCare until
1/15/14 and authorized the President to borrow unlimited money (a suspension of the
debt limit) until 2/7/14 without any additional congressional action. It included a
provision to allow Congress to "disapprove" of the President's action, but this
disapproval resolution would need to pass the Senate and be signed by the President. It
is a meaningless vote that only serves as a way for Members who voted for the recent
debt limit hike to register some disapproval of their own actions without any actual
consequences. However, the disapproval processthe so-called McConnell Ruleis a
template for how many in D.C. would like to change the debt limit permanently to make
it easier to increase and reduce congressional leverage to demand spending cuts.

After obama-and-sebelius claimed ObamaCare-didnt-cancel-your-plans, Megyn-Kelly-Hammered-Dem-
Rep-Frank-Pallone-Over-ObamaCare *Why-Do-You-Get-to-Decide-Whats-Lousy?+ and a Dem-Senator
said Obama Meant You Could Keep Your Insurance If It Was 'Good Insurance.' Significant is the fact that
NBC News Dropped Bombshell [BHO Knowingly Lied About ObamaCare for Years] and specific data have
been compiled state-by-state; meanwhile, Dem-Congressman Doyle [PA] feels taxpayers should fund his
sons healthcare insurance. It is dangerous, however, to focus upon the failed website because, if/when
its fixed, the Dems will attempt to portray this as a metaphor for generalized repair of the system,
distracting the public from recognizing that ObamaCare was fraudulently perpetrated.

hillarycare-failed-and-ObamaCare-succeeded because three key factors [all of which
were lacking in the Clinton effort] helped Obama pass a health reform law:
Consistent lobbying by the president;
The presence (or, according to some, the manufacture) of a scapegoat in the
form of health insurers; and
The wisdom gleaned from the Clintons failed effort.

833

Early in the process of developing a health reform proposal, Obama made it clear that
his plan would involve open negotiations and complete transparency, hitting on the two
major procedural criticisms of the Clintons 1994 reform failure: that administration
staffers did not include insurance industry representatives in meetings to draft the plan,
and that the process was confidential until the final plan was released, at which point
opponents could only call for its dismissal, rather than seek a compromise.
Many observers saw Obamas mostly hands-off approach to the more contentious
issues as an indication that he has learned from the mistakes made by the Clinton
administration. Obama spent much of the health care debate on the sidelines, often
making his priorities and preferences known for certain proposals but letting health care
efforts progress through committee without much public commentary from the White
House. As a result, he was able to spend his time lobbying for the law and continually
push lawmakers to keep at it in the face of long odds.

However, one thing above all else might have given Obama the advantage over the
Clintons. As Sen. Bob Bennett (R-Utah) noted in July 2009, health care costs rose
dramatically from 1993 to 2009. As a result, Obama faced a more dire economic
situation, higher costs of health care and a growing number of baby boomers facing
retirement and Medicare enrollment than Clinton ever did.

Indeed, Mike Henry [Heritage Action] solicits sob-stories and notes the flaws are much more than a
"technical glitch" that can be solved with more money and expertise; he [and Rush] maintain it must be
stopped; although it may appear intuitive, it is necessary to continue to connect the dots for people who
are experiencing increased premiums who may not realize that it results from ObamaCare. For-sure,
Obama-Care sob-stories abound [florida-womans-insurance-rate-increases-10x] and others have noted
that monthly insurance premiums from Blue Cross Blue Shield will leap from $402 to $1,380.28 [344%]
for coverage comparable to a current gold plan [which has a $6,000 out of pocket deductible]. Overall,
it reveals Progressive Government failure, for BYOs ideology is the politics of the personal cram down;
indeed, a heavily-referenced essay shows many top hospitals are simply opting out of ObamaCare.

The politics of the situation must be correlated with the database; as Cruz Heads to the
'Tonight Show' [11/8/2013 mark your calendars!], harry-reid claims [invoking a bit of
reverse-psychology: if ted cruz is 2016 gop nominee, it will be the end of the GOP.
Contradicting Jonathan Tobin of commentarymagazine [who claims the risk of a major
gop-purge is merely a-tempest-in-a-tea-pot by suggesting lindsey graham is safe, Rush
specifically argued otherwise [with his view confirmed by awareness that, if Graham
receives less than 50 percent of the vote in the primary, then the second-place
candidate will go head-to-head with him in a runoff election a couple weeks later]. Thus,
all Republicans who voted for ObamaCare *If you voted for funding, you own it!+ must
be subject to primary-challenges; the numbers show that the rejoinder from the
GOPs establishment *Chambers of Commerce, Rove, Wall St., K St.+, can target far fewer
conservatives [e.g., Amash] than the conservatives need to attack [e.g., Fitzpatrick].

Guzzardi forwarded this memo from the Madison Project [by Drew Ryun], dramatizing the workload:

Mark Levin read on his show what may be one of Daniel Horowitz's best pieces: A GOP
Majority Built On Quicksand {which this physician already cited}. In it, Daniel explains
why the Dems already enjoy a 75-80 seat [de facto] super-majority in the Senate.
834

Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell is telling his friends on K Street (the lobbyists for major
corporations) that he will fight against any efforts similar to Ted Cruz's fight to defund
ObamaCare. In response to these statements by McConnell, Daniel wrote this piece:
Mitch McConnell Ready To Fight GOP Base {which this physician already cited, as well}.

The fight for conservatism against a deeply-entrenched GOP Establishment is real.
Funded by their friends on K Street {and Wall St.}, the GOP Establishment fights for the
status quo, for power, for money, all the while undermining any conservative efforts to
advance real fixes for our country. We fight for less government, more freedom, and
more choices on important issues like healthcare. For years, grassroots conservatives
have won elections on the ground for the GOP, only to be shut-out of leadership
elections and policy decisions. That is about to change, but the GOP Establishment will
not go quietly and without a fight. I am excited about this fight. The stakes are high, but
the results we are fighting for and hope to achieve this election cycle will be worth it.

This fight boiled over into one of the Washington, DC newspapers, The Hill, this morning
with this story, "Conservative Groups Face Attacks From Republicans." The shorter GOP
Establishment/K Street talking point? "How dare conservatives raise money to fight us!"

This week's edition [Issue #52] of The Madisonian discusses not only the continued fight
against ObamaCare, but the egregious Farm Bill that is jammed full of money for welfare
programs like food stamps. {Readers were encouraged to support endorsed candidates
[more names pend]: Art Halvorson, Matt Bevin, Chris McDaniel, and Jim Bridenstine.}

For Liberty.

[And if Gov.Corbett raises taxes via the pending Transportation Bill,
his also having violated his campaign-pledge will also be problematic.]

In recognition of [unexciting] off-year elections, the link between a last-minute effort to block retention
of Ron Castille [Chief Justice] and the TEA [Taxed Enough Already] Party Movement must be explored.
Naturally, much has been written about ObamaCare [some satiric, healthcare-mash], but all can be seen
as consistent with the messaging that should be AGGRESSIVELY emerging consistently from Cruz, et al.:

See, I TOLD you so!

Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi admits to Preferring Single-Payer, Lies About Compromise, and Denies People
are Losing Their Plans; in-contrast, at least four-other-obamacare-disasters-have been ignored by the
media and a former-democratic-staffer-burned-by-obamacare exclaimed, i-was-wrong, very-wrong.
Noted is backlash everywhere, as DEMS SCRAMBLE TO DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM OBAMACARE and
CNN reports Dems Voted Unanimously for Rule that Led to Insurance Cancellations; even the Starbucks
CEO Jumped-off Obamacare Bandwagon, as the ObamaCare Flimflam Exploited Gullible Voters.

Illustrating how Dems remain untrustworthy, a prior compromise *actually, a capitulation+ again may
be abrogated [dems-resume nuclear-option-threats-to-bypass-gop and to confirm-obama-nominees],
while belated news emerges related to the economic impact of BHOs gross lack of law-enforcement
[illegal-aliens-taking-u-s-jobs-2013*+ and the wastefulness of BHOs prior mega-expenditure [$2.85
billion Federal Cash for Clunkers program only created 0.7 jobs for each million dollars spent, noting that
the ratio translated to a rate of $1.4 million for each job]. This is the atmosphere in which the possibility
of Sarahs re-emergence has been explored, even as the cable-ratings reflect *again, sadly, belatedly]
public recognition of the veracity of the major cable-source for unbiased, reliable anti-BHO information
[CNN falls to lowest primetime in-over-a-year; foxs megyn kelly returns to cable news ratings top-spot].

{*- Underground railway discovered linking USA to Mexico...Equipped with electricity,
ventilation; HOUSE HOMELAND SECURITY CHAIR: BOEHNER MUST PROMISE 'NO
CONFERENCE' ON SENATE AMNESTY BILL (as if it would matter, noting how he
abrogated the Hastert Rule a fortnight ago); Illinois will Begin Issuing Driver's Licenses to
Illegal Aliens in December; and Pro-Amnesty Google & Oracle Hired to Fix ObamaCare.}
836

Illustrating BHOs daily-absurdities is the credibility of a claim of Paul [NSA Could Be Spying on Obama],
the devastation from BHOs gloval capitulation, the claim of Top generals that BHO is 'purging military,'
and the impotence of BHOs Russian reset [Soviets, including Gorbachev, created many of todays
Middle East conflicts], noting also [@ the end of the last hyperlink, which is exhaustive/fascinating]:

While not discussed at length in this book, the Bukovsky archives show clearly that
nuclear disarmament campaigns across Europe were largely funded by the Soviet bloc.
The money was channeled through communist parties or other pro-Soviet
organizations.

Baroness Catherine Ashton was the treasurer for the Campaign for Nuclear
Disarmament from 1980 to 1982. The CND was notoriously secretive about its sources
of funding and refused to submit its accounts to independent audit; when it was finally
forced to do so under immense pressure, the auditors discovered that 38 percent of
their annual income could not be traced back to the original donors. Will Howard, a
member of the Communist Party of Great Britain, was responsible for this part of the
fund-raising.

Baroness Ashton is now the E.U. foreign policy chief, leading negotiations between
the P5+1 and Iran.

Whatever the outcome, we may surely thank the Kremlin for that, too.

Ongoing is the fact that Obama & Kerry are driving a wedge between Jewish leaders & Israelis,
contrasting BHOs opposition to more *ineffectual+ Iranian sanctions with the needs for tougher tactics
against Iranian nuclear race ["Israel can not trust Obama"- V.P. Dick Cheney]. In this regard, Guzzardis
sad observation [Like Whirling Dervishes, the fanatical Iranian Mullahs Centrifuges Whirl] rings true:

It is necessaryrecalling the opening graph *supra]to report how one entity is undermining the
credibility of the TEA Party Movement when it urges opposition to retention [tea-party-group-urges-
ouster-of-supreme-court-judges]; although there is some justification for such concerns [rockthecapital],
some claims by these people are patently false [e.g., This decision marked only the second time in the
history of American jurisprudence that a court has refused to honor a clause in the law that said if part
of the law was declared unconstitutional, the entire law was unconstitutional ignores severability+.
More trenchant issues abound, affecting Corbett [Gov: 'Stakes are huge' if transportion bill doesn't pass]
837

and the flaws in Ridges view of the GOP *Ridge accuses social conservatives of 'tyranny']; nevertheless,
the Independence Hall Tea Party PAC is again engaged in self-promotion that is doomed to failure.

Lest there be any doubt as to the import of this gambit, consider this comment:
With all due respect to the legal analysis provided by Guzzardi, the Adams-Siblings are
indeed focused on Voter-ID, and it is instructive that NO other member of the TEA
[Taxed Enough Already] Party Movement has joined in this [last-second] Fool's Errand.

When this entity changed its blanket-name from "Tea Party" to "Foundation," it tacitly
admitted to having abandoned the principles [and strategic acumen, predicated on
cooperation with sister/brother entities] that has underpinned this effort during the
past four years.

Indeed, it has both shunned and has been shunned by others in the movement, both
loco-regionally and specifically when [recently] it attempted to infest Bucks County.

Its emanations are misleading [particularly when people assume they represent anyone
but their egos] and--other than noting that they "own" 7/4 @ the Independence Hall--
they are best ignored.

There is always hope that these committed-souls [who have forged relationships with
individuals who share their pro-life belief-system, in particular] will reform--for the good
of America--for hope springs eternal; True Conservatives await evidence of a turnabout.

In reaction to the above-observation by this physician, a colleague wrote this truism:

Our single focus should be to elect Vic Stabile to PA Superior Court. There is a
substantial gap between the two candidates when it comes to judicial activism. Vics
opponent is endorsed by the AFL-CIO and, when you read why they endorsed him, you
will understand that they expect him to rewrite the law as it relates to labor law, voter
ID, and marriage.

Forget the retention crap and focus on electing Vic Stabile ---- when in a battle that you
can win, dont lose focus by worrying about a battle you may win. Everyone should be
calling hundreds of R voters and making sure they are voting. I will be calling every R in
my precinct between now and Monday night. How many are doing that? If we do, Vic
Stabile wins.

And in reaction to this observation, another colleague wrote of this personal plan:

I think there is some truth to both sides. I think the GOP does have too much infighting,
but sometimes the enemy is from within. The state committee sets a very bad
example by creating the internal fight during Primaries when it interferes in local
Primary races and tells the grassroots who to vote for during a statewide Primary
race. The GOP itself uses its own money to fight other Republicans. What example does
that set for the grassroots? Of course that leads to infighting.

838

It will not change until we change the party from the ground floor up. We have local
committee elections in the spring and we need to recruit hundreds of new people to get
involved.

Final note must be made of how dangerous it is for an entity portraying itself as moderate to be left
unchallenged when it routinely skews reportage and admixes editorializing; consider both how Politico
incessantly bashes the GOP and glosses-over the extreme-excesses of the Dems, both on Morning Joe
and in its essays *which also perpetuate the racist refrain routinely emanating, no matter the issue+.

When composing these blast e-mails, the focus is upon whats do-able; increasingly, the message
has been settling on the unsettling debate as to whether/how Mike Fitzpatrick should be primaried.
Philosophically, all reprobates should be challenged, for their capitulation was unnecessary AND hardly
justified even in retrospect; practically, Mike has developed a personal following that is unrivaled. Yet,
noting what is occurring nationallyand recognizing that party reformers would have to admit he would
be supporting the status quothe leap into pondering this moment in Americas history is humbling;
inevitably, it leads to the need to confront personal biases and to transcend longstanding friendships.

Those who have attended the meetings of the TEA Party Movement entities have observed my input as
ranging from informational to editorial, always appending the disclaimer that Im not a BucksCo resident
*although Im also not a carpetbagger, inasmuch as I view my mega-contribution of four years ago as my
ante towards maintaining involvement in my borrowed district, for Allyson long-ago ignored even
the most innocent informational entreaties, ever since I first chatted with her (1:1)two decades ago+.
Thus, when I read Establishment Republicans Declared War on the Tea Party because Big Business felt
burned by the government shutdown [and that it's fighting to retake the Republican Party in one of the
south's most conservative bastions], I decide its undeniable the aforementioned arithmetic *far more of
the Mike Fitzpatricks are vulnerable than are the Justin Amashes+ favors the insurgency that was
created by the GOP-elite [Wall St./K St.] when it capitulated, thereby forsaking the base [Main St.].

And no smiling-face [or e-mailed smiley] can soothe the betrayal, particularly when it portends voting
for the Senates Immigration Reform *read Amnesty+ bill, which Mike aggressively stated during his
meeting *with leaders of the baseheld a fortnight ago+ that he wished not to discuss in any fashion.
[n.b.: All reports of what transpired have meshed, including expressed-disgust that Don Adams had been
invited, and no one was asked to swear-secrecy regarding what occurred thereat; Mikes retroactive
goal was simply to prompt people to feel that threatening his position would deny them accesseven
if it would not prove meaningful/effective when compared with whatever else might transpire in D.C.]
Indeed, it may be recalled that its possible Boehner would delay a vote until after primary-season,
thereby allowing elapsed-time to minimize-risk that the base would awaken in-time to block his intent.

*

Admixed [now and presumably forever] is the retrenchment of the media towards recognition only that
ObamaCare has had a flawed roll-out; Rep. Marsha Blackburn [on Kudlow, @ 6:30 p.m. tonight] listed
the potential scandals [no-bid contracts, which all those who condemned Halliburton should despise],
but it remains to be seen if BHOs Teflon will be scratched *even after the Benghazi-Gate testimony
which portends within a fortnight]. Few discuss both the front-end [registration] AND the back-end
[linkage with insurers] glitches, and fewer still recognize that the glitches were intended to ensure that
people didnt experience sticker-shock until after the media had helped the Dems quash the shut-down.
Thus, it is no accident that the Time Magazine Top Ten Weekly News Stories omitted ObamaCare;
indeed, although politico finally recognized the-media-ignored-conservatives-on-ObamaCare, it must be
recognized that politico also [falsely] touted the use of the segregation-playbook-against-ObamaCare.
Finally, even former president Jimmy Carter has called President Obama incompetent in the family-
840

friendly pages of Parade magazine; illustrating the quicksand upon which ObamaCare has been built
[albeit never vetted] is the revelation that healthcare.gov-users-warn-of-security-risk-breach-of-privacy;
in fact, a caller to Rush [yesterday] claimed the FTC could prosecute BHO for having knowingly lied.

When chatting this-p.m. with a highly-respected rabbi, the final-blow [from my perspective] was tying
angst over BHOs foreign/domestic policies; I then concluded with a condemnation of elitism/arrogance
that continues to underpin/characterize the posture of the Dems. For example, note that, on Friday,
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) defended HHS Secretary Sebelius, telling ObamaCare critics in Memphis:
"Change is hard. Get over it.Barack Obama is president, and the Affordable Care Act is the law." Thus,
although Unrepentant Terrorist Bill Ayers' Book Bombed [despite MSNBC Support], Cloward-Piven is an
increasingly unnerving prospect, as BHO degrades America [locally and overseas] @ lightning-speed.
,This is precisely why conservatives routinely exclaim: god-bless-the-conservative-warriors.-

,Read the following (in its entirety), and weep.-

ObamaCare Victims and Israel
November 1, 2013 By Caroline Glick

Originally published by the Jerusalem Post.
On the domestic front, despite Obamas repeated promises that ObamaCare would not
threaten anyones existing health insurance policies, over the past two weeks, millions
of Americans have received notices from their health insurance companies that their
policies have been canceled because they dont abide by ObamaCares requirements.
The Wall Street Journals editorial board explained that Obamas repetition of this lie
was not an oversight. It was a deliberate means of lulling into complacency these
Americans who opted to buy their insurance themselves on the open market, in order to
stick them with the burden of underwriting ObamaCare.
In the editorialists words, The *healthcare+ exchanges need these customers *whose
private policies are being canceled] to finance ObamaCares balance sheet and stabilize
its risk pools. On the exchanges, individuals earning more than $46,000 or a family of
four above $94,000 dont qualify for subsidies and must buy overpriced insurance. If
these middle-class ObamaCare losers can be forced into the exchanges, they become
financiers of the new pay-as-you-go entitlement.
Sure there is an outcry now about Obamas dishonesty and the way he has used lying to
take away from an unwilling public a right it would never have knowingly surrendered,
but it is too late. There is no chance of revoking the law until at 2017, when Obama
leaves office.
And by then, everyone will have been forced to accept what they consider unacceptable
or be fined and lose all health coverage.
Obamas mendacity is not limited to domestic policy. It operates in foreign affairs as
well. Several commentators this week recalled Democratic Sen. Robert Menendezs
angry response to the Obama administrations attempt to block Senate passage of
sanctions against Iran in December 2011. Expressing disgust at the administrations bad
841

faith to the Senate, Menendez noted that before the White House tried to defeat the
legislation, it first forced senators to water it down, making them believe that the White
House would support a weaker bill. In the end, despite the White Houses opposition,
the Senate and House passed the watered-down sanctions bills with veto-proof
majorities. Obama reluctantly signed the bill into law and then bragged about having
passed crippling sanctions on Iran.
As was the case with ObamaCare, the White House knows that most Americans wont
support its policy of doing nothing to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. So
the White House never says that this is its policy. Obama and his advisers insist that
preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power is a central goal of the administration.
But their actions move US policy in the opposite direction. And if they get caught on the
lies after Iran gets the bomb, well, Obama wont be facing reelection, so he will pay no
price for his duplicity.
The mendacity at the heart of Obamas political playbook is something that Israel needs
to understand if it to survive his presidency without major damage to its strategic
viability. The events of the past week make clear that the stakes in understanding and
exposing his game couldnt be higher.
Three major developments occurred this week.
{Also note: Palestinians Announce Resignation From Peace Talks.}
{Also note: end-of-current-israel-palestinian-talks-reached-more-than-eight-years-ago.}
On Sunday, PLO officials leaked to the media a position paper that Palestinian chief
negotiator Saeb Erekat presented to Justice Minister Tzipi Livni outlining the PLOs
position on a final peace settlement. In a nutshell, the paper requires Israel to destroy
itself demographically, democratically, militarily, legally and politically and that it
relinquish its water supply. Six months after it does all these things, the Palestinians will
agree to sign a peace treaty with it.
The Palestinian document claims not only all of Judea and Samaria, (except for 1.9
percent of the territory that Israel can keep in exchange for money and more land
within sovereign Israel), and eastern, northern and southern Jerusalem. It demands the
northern Negev, the Hula Valley, Latrun and the Elah Valley. And it demands them all
free of all Jewish presence.
They demand that Israel relinquish its rights under international law to Judea, Samaria
and Jerusalem by agreeing that they are occupied.
They demand full control over the airspace over Judea, Samaria, Gaza and Jerusalem,
and over the waters off the Gaza coast. They demand an end of air force overflights of
those areas.
They demand control over all the underground aquifers, and over the electromagnetic
spectrum.
Moreover, the Palestinians are demanding that Israel allow 5 million foreign-born Arabs
the right to freely immigrate to its remaining territory.
842

They refuse to accept Israels right to exist and claim they have sovereign rights over all
of Israel.
The Palestinian document reveals that there is no chance whatsoever that the current
negotiations will lead to peace. PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas and his cronies dont want
peace. They want to destroy Israel.
And yet, to demonstrate Israels good faith with the cause of peace, and genuine
devotion to the goal of appeasing Abbas, on Sunday the cabinet approved the release of
another 26 Palestinian murderers from its jails. On Tuesday night, Abbas threw them a
party in Ramallah and pledged that he would force Israel to release all Palestinian
terrorists from its prisons.
{Also note: moderate-peace-loving-abbas-happily-celebrates-with-killers-of-jews.}
Then there is Iran. Just as it did in 2011, before the US Senate and House passed veto-
proof sanctions bills, the administration is aggressively fighting to block lawmakers from
passing new sanctions against Iran. To this end, Obamas national security advisers
summoned American Jewish leaders to the White House to demand that they stop
speaking in favor of intensified sanctions.
Also this week, US Secretary of State John Kerry took a swipe at Prime Minister
Binyamin Netanyahu for daring to question the administrations total commitment to
negotiating with Iran. Kerry indignantly insisted, We will not succumb to fear tactics
against holding talks with Iran.
The same day that Kerry decried Israel for supposedly sowing fear unnecessarily about
the status of Irans nuclear weapons program, Olli Heinonen, the former deputy head of
the International Atomic Energy Agency, said that the Iranians may have already passed
the breakout phase and have the capacity to build an atomic weapons within two
weeks.
But in accordance with the Obama administrations wishes, Democrats in the Senate are
now suggesting a four-month pause in sanctions deliberations to give Obama a chance
to reach a deal.
Rather than post the Palestinians position paper on his Facebook page and instruct
Israeli diplomats worldwide to publicize it as proof of the Palestinians continued
commitment to Israels destruction and bad faith at the negotiating table, Netanyahu
remained mum on its leaked contents. Netanyahu didnt use the paper or Abbass open
support for recent terror attacks, and leadership of the global movement, to destroy
Israels economy through trade wars and commercial boycotts, as ample justification for
keeping the Palestinian murderers in prison.
Instead, he and Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon insisted that they had to be released.
Israels strategic interests would be adversely affected, they said, if the government
kept them behind bars.
Since Obama first entered the White House, Netanyahu and his colleagues have used
the term strategic interests as a euphemism for American pressure. By using the term
843

in the context of the freeing of murderers, Netanyahu and Yaalon made clear that the
US has blackmailed Israel into keeping up concessions to the PLO despite the fact that
the concessions demoralize the country, destabilize the government, embolden
terrorists determined to murder still more Jews, and encourage Abbas to escalate his
support for terrorism and his diplomatic war against Israel.
The question is, what are Obama and his colleagues threatening to do to us? What is the
or else that follows the American demand for Israel to capitulate to Palestinian
demands? The media claim that Netanyahu continues with the phony peace talks
because he doesnt want to be blamed when they fail in April. But even if Netanyahu
were to break with his party and form a new government with Livni and the Labor Party,
the Arabs and Meretz, and offered Abbas Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, and some
symbolic right of immigration for a few foreign Arabs to the rump Jewish state, Abbas
would reject his offer, just as he rejected Ehud Olmerts offer and just as Arafat rejected
Ehud Baraks offer.
And just as Obama has blamed Israel for Palestinian intransigence and radicalism for the
past five-and-a-half years, so he will blame Israel for the failure of the current talks. So
as unpleasant as it will be to be blamed, the best thing Israel can do is expose
Palestinian bad faith to minimize the price it will pay when it is blamed.
The thing is, Netanyahu must know that Obama will blame Israel no matter what the
Palestinians say or do. So perhaps the strategic interests he is threatening are more
strategic than simply blaming Israel for scuttling phony peace talks. Maybe Obama is
telling Netanyahu that if he fails to keep faith with the fake talks, Obama will tip Iran off
to an impending Israeli strike on its nuclear facilities.
Here, too, Obama has a track record. According to former national security adviser Giora
Eiland, Netanyahu was poised to attack Irans nuclear installations in the fall of 2012,
but Obama pressured him into standing down. It is hard to believe that Obamas was a
soft sell.
Then there is the issue of military sales. Government officials have whispered
periodically that Obama is threatening to curtail weapons sales to Israel. Such a move
could quickly paralyze the air force.
There is an argument to be made for keeping silent on the nature of Obamas blackmail.
Exposing it would also expose the growing fissure between the US and Israel, and much
of Israels deterrent posture is based on a widespread assessment that Israels strategic
alliance with the US is unbreakable. But then again, Obamas weakening of the US
alliance with Israel and with Saudi Arabia and Egypt is well-known. The damage has
already been done.
Given this, the argument for exposing the nature of Obamas threats becomes more
compelling by the day. Congress still plays a supervisory role in foreign policy. And the
American public supports Israel deeply. There is a strong probability that if the nature of
Obamas threats is revealed, he will be forced to rescind them before Israel becomes
the foreign corollary to the Americans whose health insurance Obama canceled.

Illustrating with-precision the marching-orders emanating from D.C. *and the grass-roots] is this e-mail
from Heritage [omitting the section that recounts still another tale-of-woe due to ObamaCare]:

Our Impact: 'We're Just Getting Started'

Heritage Action set out to change the culture in Washingtonto create a new
paradigm where lawmakers are held accountable by their constituents and not special
interest.
Its about day-in, day-out policy accountability on whats truly going on in this town,
Heritage Action CEO Michael Needham told National Review.

Turing old-fashioned organizing into potent political power, Heritage Action has become
the conservative movements daily whip team, competing directly with Boehners
whips to kill bills, amend legislation, and woo the right flank.
Heritage Action is committed to empowering Americans across the country to raise their
voices. What people actually want, Needham tells National Review, "are politicians
who try to inspire, [who] try to achieve something.

Hot Off the Presses

The Hill reports on the growing fight between the big-government business lobby and
conservative groups like Heritage Action.
According to the Daily Beast, the only thing standing in the way of the food stamp and
farm bill is a Heritage Action key vote.
Reuters highlights Heritage Action's continued opposition to Obamacare, commenting
on our latest Halloween-themed ad.

It is necessary to recognize the potency/constituency of each component of this effort, particularly
when it is noted that some entities must remain primarily educational *and cannot endorse people+.
Touted repeatedly has been Heritage Actiondue to its having appeared to be most visible in D.C.
although the local popularity of Tea Party Patriots and FreedomWorks has become a wonder to behold.
Frankly, Ive been disappointed with Americans for Prosperity and Independence Hall, for their work
appears to have proven counterproductive [particularly that of the latter pseudo-Tea Party entity+.
Linda Rosen [912 Patriot of Lower Bucks] and Jaime Faucette [Citizens for Constitutional Government]
have been stalwarts, even when *on occasion+ weve disagreed; NONE of these perceptions is tethered
to any input from Guzzardi, although his posture indubitably has been validated by Mikes key-vote.
Thus, the ideal conceptualization to draw from this amalgam of personalities and groups is that there is
845

commonality of purpose, a meshing of resources, and a maintenance of individual identity/strengths;
without appearing excessively saccharine, the reader should know how much respect they engender.

In short, there is no APPETITE to primary Mike, but DUTY calls; when one recalls an infamous adage
*Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!+, its difficult to believe that he will vote
conservatively if/when not challenged in 2014 *particularly after Boehner ignored the Hastert Rule+
and its even more difficult to hope he would remain true to his bases principles whenduring his final
termhe would not be subject to any meaningful accountability *and could thus demonstrate inertia+.
All of this must be accomplished ASAP, as BHO incessantly acts on multiple levels to pursue his agenda
[e.g.,EXECUTIVE ORDER: Obama directs gov't to prepare for global warming]; as those who were present
at the Heritage Action Rally two months ago were requested by Pastor Rafael Cruz *Teds Dad+ to do, the
army that is recruited to combat the Dems next year must be sufficiently robust to pledge to this fight
our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor. Mike has not exhibited sufficient valor to have met this
simple-test, nor have his subsequent comments [e.g., bashing Cruz] portend attitudinal readjustment.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/181214283/anti-BHO-CCX

This article captures the sentiments expressed in the e-mail remitted 12 hours ago, attacking Mike
because of his having overtly chosen Wall St./K St. over Main St. [The Tea Party Battles to Come - Three
unrepentant veterans of the shutdown brawl say they're eager for primary election fights with a goal of
remaking the GOP+. The last graph, of course, reflects the reflex-posture of the WSJ but, otherwise,
these viewpoints are c/w the duty to recruit a credible [true-conservative] primary-opponent for Mike;
actually, the implied-threat around which the coda has been wrapped may well have been debunked
within a fortnight for, as per leaks, the Benghazi-Gate scandal may detonate [and sideline Hillary, too].
Absent, of course, from this selective-interview of TEA Party Movement [TPM] leaders is a firm cite of
constitutional underpinnings of what initially/subsequently have animated this effort; even if some facet
thereof was initiated by the Koch Brothers [imperceptible to the minions], its maturation is undoubtedly
mutually exclusive of whatever funding [seed-money?] may have been provided for like-minded people.

For example, the monthly meeting of Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots-Eastern MontCo [one of 8 groups
blanketing SE-PA] will feature a guest-speaker [Jamie Cox, Field Director, American Majority PA]; indeed,
accompanying this announcement was an e-mail that provided unique-info from a public-minded man
[with whom I was confirmed in 1967] who has been an independent analyst of insurance programs:

On 10/10/2013, Madeleine Dean's town hall meeting in Upper Dublin included [after a
Harrisburg-summary] a presentation on ObamaCare by Bill England, the State Director
of Enroll America. Know, however, that Enroll America is closely connected with the
Administration and Secretary Sebelius [http://dailycaller.com/2013/11/01/sebelius-
supported-by-figure-tied-to-fundraising-scandal/]. Ross Schriftman provided this prcis:

The representative clearly supports government expansion and honestly
promoted her ideas. It seems though that Medicaid expansion using
Federal dollars does not make these folks realize that those dollars are
tax dollars paid by Pennsylvania tax dollars. 30% of the state budget is
for Medicaid and 40% for education. If Medicaid is expanding there is
less money for education, which she said is under funded. She claimed
insuring 500,000 more people under Medicaid would reduce costs. This
is a fantasy.

Bill England, the State Director of Enroll America, gave a good
presentation of his talking points for his cause. However, he was weak
on the details of how ObamaCare will work in the real world and
inaccurate on the details of the law. For example, individuals do not get
a tax credit towards their premium. They receive an income related
adjustment to their premium based on what they tell the government
they expect their income to be this year. It has nothing to do with how
much taxes that enrollee pays.

He also seemed to be unaware that people could contact the insurance
companies directly to compare plans and that the companies have their
847

own way to calculate the individual's costs on the exchange. Going to
Kaiser's website kff.org only gives someone a general idea of costs in
their state; not specific plan amounts.

He also blamed the shutdown and the volume for the healthcare.gov
website failure. It is now widely reported that the problems were
related to poor software design, a system that makes no sense (having
to log on just to investigate premium rates and benefits), a lack of
coordination between the groups working on the software and rolling it
out after tests determined that there were problems.

Finally, the Affordable Care Act was sold on the idea that people's
premiums would be reduced. When I spoke about the 29%, 32%, 64%
and 82% rate increase his response was that this was morally good
because my clients are paying more so that sick people can get
insurance and not face pre-existing clauses. It is morally wrong and
dishonest to ask people to support legislation by saying it will lower
their costs and, then when costs are higher, tell the same people that it
is their moral obligation to pay more.

No rational voter would be able to conclude that the myriad manifestations of the TPM could have been
initiated *let alone controlled+ at the top of any fiscal pyramid; this is why populism must be nurtured.
One must then compare/contrast such straight-talk with the double-speak emanating from the Lefties;
consider, just for example, todays NY-Times editorial which claims BHO misspoke rather than lied;
also, the crucial pre-meditated facet of this known-to-be-false claim has been thoroughly-documented
[which will intuitively extend to employer-based programs affecting ~100-million people, next year].
Easily-pegged as BHO-apologists are those on the talk-shows who fail to acknowledge the ramifications
of such deceit when they claim existing policies are lousy *generically, quoting Frank Pallone] and then
blame the insurers for complying with black-letter HHS-mandates [specifically, quoting Ezekiel Emanuel].

In contrast, note again why Ted Cruz could ride Tea Party support to White House,
inasmuch as his defining-effort against all-things-ObamaCare will increasingly resonate:

BY PAUL BEDARD | NOVEMBER 1, 2013 AT 11:21 AM

The friendly fire directed at Sen. Ted Cruz from establishment Republicans is giving the
Texan first-in-line status among Tea Party supporters and building a base for him to run
for president, according to a new analysis from the University of Virginias Center for
Politics.
To the establishment, Cruz is the embodiment of all the forces conspiring to threaten
the GOP's long-term viability. And, on a personal level, they also just can't stand Cruz:
He drives them crazy, wrote Kyle Kondik in Center Director Larry Sabato's
popular Crystal Ball.
But, added Kondik, the venom directed at Cruz, whose effort to defund Obamacare
led to a 16-day government shutdown, makes him an oversized hero to Tea Party
supporters.
848

Not pleasing the establishment is music to the ears of Tea Party activists, and if
anything the shutdown has endeared Cruz even more to them. Assuming Cruz mounts a
presidential bid in 2016 hes headed to South Carolina next week after his Iowa
appearance last Friday (hint, hint) the Tea Party could be a potent base, he said.
Kondik took note of the Twitter sneers GOP old bulls fired off as Cruz spoke to Iowa
Republicans a week ago. *Mike+ Murphy (@murphymike), an alum from John McCains
rogue 2000 presidential campaign and a "Meet the Press" regular, was one of the
establishment Republicans tweeting snark about Cruz during his speech, he noted.
Murphy tweeted: Sounds like we got trouble in River City Good citizens, make your
check payable to Cruz Against Soviet Healthcare. Or just CASH
And thats nothing new, said Kondik: Ever since hes been elected, we here at the
Crystal Ball have heard groaning from Democrats and Republicans alike about how
much they dislike Cruz.
But could Cruz win the nomination in whats expected to be a crowded field? A big
hurdle might be GOP endorsements, typically from the establishment and to
establishment candidates like Mitt Romney.
At this point, its hard to imagine Cruz winning much support from party elites, so hed
have to depend on the Tea Party grassroots, said Kondik, who noted that both parties
have detoured with non-establishment candidates in the past and lost the
Republicans in 1964 with Barry Goldwater and Democrats in 1972 with George
McGovern.
His bottom line: Ted Cruz is riding high in some Republican/Tea Party circles precisely
because he aggravates many high-ranking members of his own party. But his icy
relationship with those party leaders might cause him problems if and when he decides
to run for president.
More in-depth analyses of the flaws of ObamaCare have emerged [Forget the website crashes: The real
$1 trillion problem with ObamaCare has yet to emerge], and under-reported after the latest drone-kill
[Leader of Pakistani Taliban Killed in Drone Strike] is the official reaction thereto [Government says
death of Hakimullah Mehsud has destroyed attempts to hold peace talks with Islamist militants.] Also,
the Blue Angels have re-taken flight and note also the precision of the marine-corps-silent-drill-platoon.
Finally, sadly emblematic of the ripple-effect of BHOs misconduct *with potential to become a tsunami+
is recognition that The millions of Americans who have lost their health insurance can testify to the
mendacity of this president's pledges. Israel must not rely on Barack Obama for its life insurance. Again,
recalling yesterdays chat with a liberal-rabbi, it seemed the end of the conversation was most effective
when BHOs deceit regarding Iran *and he didnt yet know of how an exasperated Saudi Arabia had even
refused a Security Council seat due to US-Policy on Egypt/Syria/Iran] was linked to his overall mendacity;
thus was closed the feedback loop yielding recognition of how very much ObamaCare mutilates liberty.

And all of this inevitably harkens back to the grinding-theme of what can be done about what occurred,
thereby buttressing the case for IDing a primary challenger to all congress-people who forsook both
constitutional principles and personal pledgessuch as Mikewhen they voted for ObamaCare; again,
If you fund it, you own it emerges as the battle-cry, and there appears to be nothing Mike can now do
849

*short of announcing he wont stand for re-election, satisfying a (split-)six year term-limit promise] other
than to invoke personal friendships to [1]forestall an opponent, and [2]shore-up his supporters.

Young People Will Not Save ObamaCare
By Ross Schriftman,
Ross Schriftman Insurance

Almost everyone has bought into the idea that, if lots of young people enroll in
insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act, premiums will be stabilized and
affordable. I have my doubts. The numbers do not add up.
First, the Obama Administration goal is to enroll 2.7 million young people in the
exchanges. The total enrollment goal by March 1
st
is 7 million. For this concept to work,
not only do these people have to enroll, they must then pay their premiums on an
ongoing basis and use very little healthcare.
Someone needs to tell the ObamaCare promoters that a significant number of young
people do get sick and have serious health problems including drug and alcohol abuse,
mental conditions included attempted suicide and other conditions like diabetes. Young
people are a large percentage of the victims of violent crime resulting in many having
lifetime injuries requiring extensive treatment. Young people also represent a large
portion of the people injured in car accidents. Many young people sustain sports
injuries as well. It is good public policy to insure these people, but I doubt that adding
them to the insurance rolls will have any significant effect reducing everyone else's
costs.
There is also this moral hazard. If you force someone to buy a product, they will use
it. Some may take this course and load up on medical services to try and recover the
premiums being charged.
Even if none of the above were true, the other people who will be enrolling are either
losing coverage or now can get coverage when they perceive they need care. Many of
the millions being dropped from their current coverage are in guaranteed issue
policies. For example, Independence Blue Cross in Southeastern Pennsylvania is
migrating 27,000 members from their guaranteed issue plans into the exchange
plans. None of these enrollees faced medical underwriting when they got their
coverage. If they were healthy, they would have applied for the regular individual
market plans.
851

The reality of ObamaCare is that rates for almost everyone will be higher except for
those receiving a substantial taxpayer-paid subsidy. So, I can't see how a few million
young people enrolling will save us from this disaster.
All roads again point to Mike, for he is complicit in the predictable sequellae; indeed, BHO probably
doesnt care if his polling drops, for ObamaCare will be implemented and fundedas of 1/1/2014.

It may be recalled that, within prior blasts, it was emphasized that the effort to Defund ObamaCare
had proven successfuluntil the GOP-establishment suddenly gutted itin terms of pushing BHO to
alter his approach to its implementation; they couldnt validate a POLITICAL effort to delay it for a year
by noting the OPERATIONAL glitches that [in any other universe] would have prompted such a decision.
This ideological-commitment of the Dems to this effort was again illustrated on the state-level when
vermont paid $170 million for healthcare exchange to insure 40,000-people (@$4K/person, exorbitant).
Jackie Mason, famous comic [who transiently had a half-hour TV-show+, has FLAYED OBAMA AS LYING
'MANIAC' adding: 'If he wasn't the president, he'd be in jail or in a sanitarium.' This hyperlink is worth
exploring, for the WND topics on its right-hand margin are damning (individually/in-the-aggregate).
{Again, noted is a Dem-sponsored [SEIU/PPP] Poll reporting Fitzpatrick 46% vs. Generic Dem 43%.}

During yesterdays interview shows, Team Obama grabbed the pitchforks in efforts to spread the blame
for what had been four-Pinocchio deceit by BHO [as NBC'S GREGORY BLAMED AXELROD FOR OBAMA'S
BIG LIE and Chuck Todd (on Obama's Big Lie) exclaimed (belatedly), 'Never Understood Why He Said It'];
even POLITIFACT determined EZEKIEL EMANUEL had asserted a 'MOSTLY FALSE' claim when he tried
BLAMING INSURANCE COMPANIES but, ominously (and predictably), this OBAMACARE ARCHITECT
predicted that the INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE MARKET IS GOING AWAY. In another belated discovery,
even CBS'S SCHIEFFER opined OBAMACARE SHOWS GOVT. is INCAPABLE OF MAKING THINGS BETTER,
while the lefties remained fundamentally adamant [e.g., Walters: 'The View' Not A Political Show];
noting its exigencies, ObamaCare Exposed 'Soylent Green Liberals' as the media [washingtonpost.com]
has belatedly noted that political challenges have dogged ObamaCare bamas-health-plan-since-2010l.

Surmised was the claim that a 'Disturbing' Lobbyist Past May Have Kept Chris Christie Off Romney Ticket
[an under-reported observation that, years ago, was reported to this physician by a colleague who had
worked with him in north-Jersey, more than a decade ago]; this has nothing to do with his obesity which
has been the focus of media reporting, a false flag concept comparable to the focus on the faulty
ObamaCare roll-out. This is a crucial dynamic, for these behaviors allow for a set-up of the public after a
given allegedly-core issue is resolved [allowing for the conclusion to be drawn that this would allow for
the overall issue to have been resolved+. This exemplifies the tug-of-war regarding control over the
media-narrative; Sebelius can lie [e.g., claiming the law had mandated a 10/1/2013 roll-out when, truly,
she was empowered to delay it unilaterally], but the focus is preferably trained on what will now occur:
At least 129 million will not be able to keep health care plan if ObamaCare fully implemented. {Indeed,
these fractured-coverage concerns are so pervasive that they even have seeped into Morning Joe.-

Before probing the political forces-at-play [in honor of election day], note the anticipated contrast
between the level of media attention being provided to gop-rep Peter King {NY}, who has-a-campaign-
against-ted-cruz-ready-to-go-for-looming-budget-fight and to jason-chaffetz, who recalls the Valerie
Plame episode when, regarding Benghazi-Gate, the WaPo released the name of a British agent.

*

I was advised by an academic political-scientist that a classic text composed to analyze forces-at-play
across the pond *Political change in Britain The Evolution of Electoral Choice by David Butler and
Donald Stokes with the 2
nd
Edition published in 1974] should be invoked when vetting current issues.
This 500-page treatise may be four-decades remote, but certain concerns live-onas per concepts that
have been summarized in its 20-page Conclusion (minus charts/graphs that permeate the analysis);
candidly, these quotes are distilled to test whether attacking Mike Fitzpatrick is a reasonable pursuit
for, in this instance, the working-hypothesis is that the strongest possible [conservative] nominees
[recalling the Buckley Rule] will be needed when trying to wrest governmental control from the Dems.

It is this physicians theory that this national movement will spread [after the 11/5/2013 elections]
sequentially, as locals recognize that others have successfully mounted primary challenges to those who
had otherwise been tolerated as sufficiently Republican to satisfy the need to eschew the Dems; also,
recalling the arithmetic, one can expect far more challenges to Wall St./K St.-types [like Mike] than
to Main St.-populists [like Amash]. We can amass grass-root supporters that self-serving corporatists
can only attempt to purchase although, obviously, funding-concerns perennially face constitutionalists;
analyzed purely as a political science paradigm, we encompass legitimate concerns of free-marketeers,
whereas the vulture-capitalists cant view our desire for adherence to rule-of-law within their paradigm.

Our ranks would be swelled reasonably by social-conservatives and believers in a muscular-military, but
it would be necessary to accommodate these concerns secondarily when Americas survival is at-stake;
this model should not be perceived as demeaning these trenchant issues, for most are perceivable as a
subset of the Judeo-Christian value-system that underlies disinterested constitutional interpretation,
as compared/contrasted with the judicial activism of non-libertarian libs born of Dems progressivism.

854

In many respects, this is a race-to-the-finish, as BHO attempts to create a level of dependency that,
then, would instill fear in the heart of a voter so profound that NO scandal [whether related to the faulty
ObamaCare roll-out or to Benghazi/IRS/NSA/etc.+ could penetrate the perceived need for a next meal.
The extreme nature of what is rapidly transpiring *with Dems admitting truths while continuing to be
going-about-their-business, making one wonder how they can live with themselves] is truly unnerving;
necessary, therefore, is an all hands on deck mentality that ignores chronicity and highlights acuity.
*These ideas were honed rhetorically during a chat with a BucksCo community activist (Thanks!).]

This memo contrasts with its predecessor blasts, in that hyperlinks are eschewed; the simple-goal is to
lift quotes and then to see where they lead; having pre-read them, it is my bias that they corroborate
efforts to expunge all statist elements within the GOPASAPand that includes their apologists.
Enablers [such as Mike] have forged working-relationships with us, but ultimately they wilt when the
harsh-reality of quotes from Guzzardi *accrued over the past decade, in particular, in his modern era+
are scrutinized. Debating those who think otherwise would be a pleasure, for these views are baked-in!

*

The last chapter *Continuity and Change+ addresses Approaches to Change; A Decade of Change;
and A Comparative Perspective. The opening graph constitutes a disclaimer that cites complexity
[and certainly not all of the ideas in this treatise are applicable to America in this New Millennium], but
those who wish to ID key-trends are nevertheless invited to weigh what these authors have discerned.
*Ignored is the existence of the Liberal Party for, except when dealing with New York State, no one
who claims to be reasonable would postulate that a third-party (Conservative) movement could work;
having served as Perots coordinator for Abington/Cheltenham/Jenkintown, I watched Clinton emerge.]
The world is dynamic, and no one model [economic, social, ethnic] fits all needs, even as some subsets
[such as blacks overwhelmingly supporting BHO] carry implications regarding allocation-of-resources.

For all intents and purposes, Labour=Dems=Progressives and Conservative=GOP=Conservatives,
although the obvious intent here is to validate the fact that challenging Mike is do-able [assuming the
right candidate were to emerge+; as noted supra, the mere fact that he would be facing the voters
[during a MAY primary, not just in the November general-election] would perhaps instill a greater level
of sensitivity to concerns harbored by his base regarding not only the budget/ObamaCare/deficit, but
also the looming Immigration Reform battle *which Mikes comments in early-August suggest he will
want to re-cast as anything but Immunitydespite the fact that this is precisely what it indubitably is+.

The major initial disclaimer is that although the analytic frameworks connect consequence with cause,
they do not account for the occurrence of the cause itself. Subsequent discussion focuses on whether
politicians can aspire to alter public opinion, an observation that is particularly applicable to the POTUS
[noting his weekend appearance in Virginia]. This gets into the dynamic between passivity/leadership
*with the ins complaining of the former when yearning for the latter, while the outs do the opposite+
that is based upon bias/perception, although a sub-point appears not to be applicable to current-USA:
Any suggestion that the management of the economy offers governments an infallible tool for the
engineering of electoral consent is likely to win only wry smiles from prime ministers or chancellors of
the exchequer until economic change becomes far more predictable and economic science far more
exact. The qualifiers are as ethereal now as they were then, but that hasnt stopped BHO from efforts
to dismember the economy *fundamentally+ while leaving absolutely nothing substantive in his wake.

*
855

The changing-electorate may be problematicdemographicallyfor the GOP [touted by the Dems], but
no pundit has reasonably applied such dynamics to the 8
th
Congressional District; indeed, the census led
to a slight-enhancement of the GOP, with the 3%-splay discerned in the PPP-poll [just announced]
undoubtedly minimizing this parameter. Of course, this is framed as Mike vs. generic-Dem and thus
assumes his personal likeability would be a built-in plus; nevertheless, neither of the putative-Dems
appears to start with any ground-swell of local-support, so a supplanted-R wouldnt be disadvantaged.

This notwithstanding, the core-concept conveyed is how *regardless of replacement phenomena+,
conversion and realignment are worthy of scrutinyparticularly after flaws in ObamaCare emerge.
Within discussion of what had transpired with class realignment in England, the issue of migration
was raised; then, as now, the emigration component was found to have benefitted the Libs/Dems,
whereas upward change of occupational status tended to benefit Conservatives/Republicans. Also,
enhanced support for welfare policies fueled Labours return to power in 1964. Many such truisms
are recounted to validate the applicability of some of these perceptions to the current-day conflicts.
Indeed, it is noted that the evolution of economic lot didnt affect voting, an observation mirrored
when BHO was re-elected despite a drop in median-income in America from ~$54K to ~$52K since 2009.
Fluctuations in the economy did affect voting, but only to the degree to which there was a general view
as to whether a given government had appeared competent, particularly with regard to unemployment.
This discussion segued into a public perception of the party criterion, certainly cognizable these days
when the media continually bash the GOP brand; emphasized was the dynamic between the party and
the candidate, perhaps a greater force in England due to its parliamentary governmental structure.

Public perception of pensions, housing and education wereagain perhaps unique to Englandof more
consequence than has been prominent in America, and there is no discussion of foreign policy issues
*other than an allusion to the Common Market, which isnt comparable to discussion of the Middle East]
as routinely arises *with variable valanceusing a term in the bookdepending upon the context]
within an America *that may lack colonies but surely remains involveddespite BHOworldwide].

When listing institutional changes of the 1960s, the final one was the transformation of the media
ascribable to the impact of TV; four decades hence, the catalyst for such reverberations is the Internet.
The resultthen and nowwas the potential for more fluid changes in the electorate, although it is
possible that this phenomenon is muted in America, noting that people with predisposed viewpoints can
select a home that strokes the creature-comforts that might tend to validate their political attitudes.
*The observation that Some of the many hours the electorate now give to TV viewing used to be spent
in pubs or other social contacts would easily cross-ruff with current debate regarding the social-media.]
Of these aforementioned factors *housing, education, economy+, the media were seen as volatile.

*

To effect change most efficiently, it is argued that urbanization, literacy and the use of mass media
were vital, particularly in a dynamic environment. Explicit differentiation of England and America is
ascribed to class level [in the former] rather than regional, racial and religious forces [in the latter].
When searching for a realignment-force in America, therefore, one might note how BHOs icy attitude
toward Israel accounted for a ~50% increase in the GOP support [from ~20% to ~30%] in 2012 of Jews.
Circumstances are cited as having triggered such shifting in England, and so too is this emerging now
[e.g., with regard to Irans Nuke threat+. Far less potent, however, have been efforts to help the poor
856

[particularly in the inner city] to accept GOP-ideas regarding [for example] school choice; even when
circumstances *such as Phillys high murder-rate] are recognized, any political import appears muted.

That ObamaCare may be different, however, may also not fly; those who seek entitlements, will not
be fazed by glitches and will welcome the redistribution of wealth *and social justice+ that is pledged.
This phenomenon, in the book, was termed transient conversion of party support, and it was felt then
to present a rich field for comparative inquiry. After suggesting ideology wasnt a strong force with
British politics, the degree to which such forces could be tested would be found [going full-cycle, here]
via creation of meaningful frameworks for analysis of multiple *oftentimes-competing] forces. Finally,
the book ended with a key-disclaimer that harkens to the low-information voter when it laments
alienation of people from the forms of parliamentary democracy or popular government in England.
The coda is based on the hope that an amalgamation of frameworks could provide enhanced insight,
again harkening to how BHOs super-computer in Chicago [with every voter indexed and x-referenced]
greatly assisted his campaign-staff when buttons had to be pushed during his re-election campaign.

*

The message to America, here, is that plus a change, plus c'est la mme chose *the more things
change, the more they stay the same+. The focus on the use of populism [e.g., door-knocking, e-mail]
rather than depending upon advertising *expensive and efficient, but not retail politics] is notable, and
the ability to help the GOPs primary-voting electorate align itself with a credible base appears validated.
Otherwise, the reader is invited to draw conclusions that may be mutually exclusive of this boosterism
born of a motivation to primary Mike; the editorialization herein is otherwise as muted as possible.

Subject: Anti-BHO "blasts" Continue -CCXIV [ObamaCare & Primarying Fitzpatrick]

http://www.scribd.com/doc/182062205/anti-BHO-CCXIV

This was received in response to the election-day essay, which was employed to vet the potential for
Mike to be primaried by citing campaigning-concepts formulated a half-century ago:

1) Another major factor I see is the increasing tribalization of political loyalty, combined
with greater segregation between people of the left and people of the right. This will
play into the 2016 race very strongly, as most Democrats will still decide as a matter of
faith that Republicans are worse; that is on what Hillary will be running on.

2) I've been hearing from you for weeks about finding a suitable person to primary
Mike. Surely the best outcome would be to find someone solidly conservative that Mike
could respect enough to decide not to push for two more years. As a first thought, that
would means finding a person with sufficient experience, strong convictions, able to
articulate a conservative position without coming across strident. You need to move
incrementally in a swing district, avoid the hot button words that will evoke reaction
and perhaps panic.

Key phrases to such a position would be along these lines 1) sensible, streamlining of
government 2) encouraging economic growth through pruning back regulatory tangles
3) freeing communities and states to find their own creative experiments for finding
tailored solutions to problem, harnessing the creativity of individuals to try new
approaches rather than imposing inflexible, one-size-fits-all approach over 350M
individuals 4) investing in people by letting them utilize their own resources more freely
rather than putting power into the hands of a corrupt few 5) More consistent
application of the principle of keeping government out of people's lives.

Foreign policy is tougher because we haven't had a national conversation for years, but
perhaps the way to finesse the hawks/libertarian divide is to emphasize developing a
thoughtful, coherent, and consistent policy that advances our interests and makes wise
alliance in an increasingly interconnected world.

Guzzardi and I reviewed the wreckage, in conjunction with essays such as these [from Red State]:
Virginia validates our concern regarding [1]the apparent preference of the GOP-Establishment to
allow a Dem to winrather than a Conservative; *2+the capacity of ObamaCare to move votes; *3+
the preference of Christie to be the GOP-Establishments POTUS-leader in 16 (despite his refusal to help
Cuccinelli); [4]the fact that blame for the government slow-down is now split between the parties;
[5]the ability of the Dems to fund a third-party effort with sufficient potency to undermine the GOP;
and [6]the national existence of the aforementioned civil-war between Wall St./K St. and Main St.
{Instrumental, here is the accusation that the Republican Governors (under Jindal) abandoned Virginia.}

Another piece noted [in contrast with the GOP-Establishment and GOProud+ When conservatives
decide to primary Republicans, we are often attacked as being purists. Look at the present NRSC attacks
on the Senate Conservatives Fund. But conservatives will rally to the Republican in the general election.
858

And a third piece noted To anyone remaining that thinks a reasonable accommodation may be made
with the GOP-Establishment, todays op-ed by Michael Gerson (The GOPs new reality) should serve as a
wake up call. In fact, it is apparent from Gersons op-ed that the Establishment views conservatives, not
the Democrats, as the existential threat to their place at the trough. Finally, a fourth piece noted how
intensely the upcoming internal battles will be fought, as the NRCC fails to recognize: The road to a
Republican [Senatorial] majority is not paved with [a candidate such as] Mitch McConnell in Kentucky.

Open warfare has broken out among rival GOP groups, perhaps manifest in Alabama;
nevertheless, it is necessary not to generalize in such situations, for the conservative
had not only applauded the shutdown, but he also vowed that he wouldn't support John
Boehner as speaker and said he believed President Barack Obama was born in Kenya.
[This prompted the winner to be supported by the usual-suspects: Ending Spending
(bankrolled by TD Ameritrade founder Joe Ricketts), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the
House leadership (Majority Leader Eric Cantor & House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy),
and dozens of Washington-based PACs. Byrne outraised Young more than two-to-one;
Byrne and his allies dominated the TV airwaves, as Young was forced to rely on a grass
roots-style campaign; Young refused to support Byrne due to an attack ad that Byrne
ran accusing him of duping Christians into donating to a PAC than went to Young's
consulting firm. These data do not rule-out candidates who adhere to the views of Cruz,
but dont publicly aver the more extreme characterizations of both parties elitists.

It is noted that the rendition by Politico [libs] of the overall forces-at-play embeds the
assumption that challenges to the GOP-Establishment complicate potential plans for
victory *rather than harbor the potential to enhance them+: the party establishment is
prepared to take a tougher line in the 2014 midterms against conservative outside
groups that have dumped big bucks into GOP Senate primaries and [have] complicated
the party's path to the majority. It remains a source of amazement that authors of such
objective essays essentially reveal having only spoken to one side of the debaters.

Actually, there are conflicts-within-conflicts that must be tackled, for the entire Main St. faction is not
yet entirely aware of its urgent need to mobilize; only after recognition that the urgency is ASAP and
that the base awaits emergence of trustworthy leadership [to which it could then be helped to flock],
only then will they confront their demons, their assumptions, their faux-friendships, their true goals.
We are free of ulterior motive, elitist tendencies, and temptation to rewrite errors in the Constitution.
We must act accordingly, for awareness of the connivance of the GOP-Establishment with the Dems
simply wont suffice in the absence of effective messagingand there is sufficient time prior to the onset
of primary-season to ID both quality committee-people and effective, philosophically on-point leaders.

As a respite, scroll-down through these 30 must-see-powerful-photos, this earth-porn,
and probably-the-coolest-political-map-of-the-world-youll ever see (note the margins).

These concepts were palpable yesterday during and after the primary voting. Within MontCo, the data
reflect continued deterioration of the MCRC [MontCo Republican Committee]; both judicial candidates
[quality women, both] and Vic Stabile [who prevailed state-wide] lost, although one can anticipate the
rationalization that we came close, despite the registration will emanate from the *failed+ leadership.
Although unconfirmed, it appears At Least Four Newcomers Won Seats on Abington Board; though two
of the races ended in a tie [!], the Democrats will control the Abington Board of Commissioners. Thus,
the question that will now arise is whether this epochal-switch will trigger any internal soul-searching.
859

This prospect superficially appears dimjudging from a conversation with a long-term GOP-stalwart
during the local partys wakewho expressed a desire not to receive these blasts because they hadnt
included citation of efforts to win local races. He was told that this physician had called frequent-voters,
reflecting the capacity to walk and to chew gum simultaneously, but he appeared unfazed thereafter.
This will be how the GOP-Establishment will continue to function, citing his ongoing opposition multiple
on-line reminders posted by this physician of Corbetts dismal re-election prospects. [It was left in a
vague status, but his request will be honoredas will all such reactions to whatever is disseminated.+
Another reflection of the origins of our conflict is his having viewed efforts to primary Mike with dismay;
without revealing his identity, it can simply be noted that he is an outspoken advocate for incumbency.

Revealing the fundamental-conflict, also noted was opposition mounted by the Dems county-chair to
any discussion of civics with election workers when they were not performing their (very light) duties,
[exemplified by educating them of federalism and of the Publius-Brutus Federalist-Papers debate+.
That they appeared to be (if nothing else) entertained and that the Judge-of-Elections had approved,
these considerations were irrelevant; as the votes were counted, his wife was advised to remind him
that BHOs ongoing abandonment of Israel festers, and those who acquiesce politically to these stances
risk having Jewish Blood on their hands [noting how aggressively Iran is nuking-up while Israels secrets
are leaked, even as relations with Egypt and Saudi Arabia are stressed inter alia due to Syrian policies].

Curiously, it was just announced that N.J. Rep. Runyan won't run in 2014, perhaps
reflecting recognition that this honest-man knows he violated his campaign-promise[s]
when voting to fund ObamaCare, to ignore the debt hike, and to fund McConnells pork.
Noting that his electoral prospects would probably be comparable to Mikes, it may be
wise for Mike to emulate his having fallen on his sword when besmirching his word.

Notwithstanding whatever Sebelius may be stating to the Senate Finance Committee, OBAMACARE
PAPER APPLICATIONS WERE MEANT TO MISLEAD CUSTOMERS, CBS reports that the Obama admin
ducked final HealthCare.Gov security requirements, as problems accumulated, and a court-struck-down
the ObamaCare-contraception-mandate. All this may explain why the GALLUP poll had BHOs approval
dropping to 39%, even as "DELUSIONAL BARRY" denied you can keep it videotaped promises, uttered
at least 29 times. Recognizing that deceit starting with BHO and traveling via Sebelius can be manifest
by an underling, know that Marilyn Tavenner, administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services, promised a Senate committee that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services had
reached out to Tom Dougall, the South Carolina man whose private information was exposed on
Healthcare.gov. Thats not true, said Dougall, who spoke to Heritage following Tavenners testimony.
{Also note that, perhaps by design, married-people and young-men are punished by ObamaCare; also,
note media collaboration (twitter canceled-account-of-people-who-lost-their-health-insurance).}

Again illustrating how he is destroying America daily is A controversial 600-plus page manual used by the
military to train its Equal Opportunity officers, which teaches that "healthy, white, heterosexual,
Christian" men hold an unfair advantage over others, complaining of a "White Male Club."

Through it all, it must be concluded that national forces-at-play are alive/well locally,
thereby affecting all elements of the upcoming primary election in PA for party-spots.
Guzzardi would want to emphasize lamentation of The Forgotten Taxpayer when
both national/state debt is scrutinized, even as Corbett has started announcing his
860

electoral plans statewide, today; tomorrows local events will be in Fox Chase @ 10:30
and [I was told last night] @ the Willow Grove VFW @ 4 [@ a far smaller venue].

Sebelius in hot-seat, admitting she knew of website-security-risks-in-august but launched-anyway,
claiming Delay 'not an option,' and admitting felons can become navigators, as she blamed software
code for healthcare.gov privacy breach; then, characterizing the approach adopted by all of the Dems,
Sen. Nelson asked Sebelius about so-called cancellations and said he wants her to "burn the fingers" of
the contractors who screwed-up. This story has strengthening legs, as a 49-state report just found that
individual plans under ObamaCare will increase ~41%, with young men hardest hitas the lies grow,
swing-voters-have-turned-against-Obama and medical-entrepreneurship has been diminished.

If you want to see where government-run healthcare gets you, note what the VA has
done to Airman Brian Kolfage after he spoke-out against Obama. Indeed, veterans who
sustained injuries in combat deserve the best treatment we can give them but, instead,
the VA just sent this Purple Heart recipient a bill for $4,000.

A GOP-Establishment columnist issued claims that are ripe for refutation, even as he draws a conclusion
that is not unexpected, As we get closer to 2016, more conservatives will come to the conclusion that
they much prefer dealing with Christies faults than contemplating eight years of a Hillary Clinton
presidency. For example, invoking the classic-Dem approach towards moral equivalency, he wrote
that he and Cruz are both opportunists, despite the fact that [he forgets to mention the fact that]
Christie scheduled the special-election for Booker to decrease the chance that black turnout would
decrease his electoral victory-margin. Therefore, this is the type of communication that can be expected
from the GOP-Establishment, as it touts another McCain/Romney-type [although he denies the linkage],
as opposed to a true-conservative such as Ted Cruz; it will be of-interest to note if others in this realm
[such as Jennifer Rubin+ maintain their critique of the slow-down-strategy as ObamaCare festers.
Finally, illustrating again why Mike shouldnt be immune to being primaried is omission of his name from
the latest compilation by rollcall.com of the 10 most vulnerable house members.

Lest foreign-affairs debacles under BHO be forgotten amidst the ObamaCare morass,
note BB is Concerned About Peace Talks as Palestinians Continuing With Incitement.
Kerry recalled BHOs crass anti-Zionism, "We consider now, and have always considered,
the settlements to be illegitimate," despite the fact that none have emerged since 1993,
and all Israeli conduct has been c/w all agreements since then [contrasting with the PA].
Also, Lieberman was Acquitted and, thus, Will Return to Foreign Ministry.

The following is c/w points made in the earlier blast.

10 TAKEAWAYS FROM ELECTION DAY 2013
by JOEL B. POLLAK 6 Nov 2013, 5:47 AM PDT

862

Election Day 2013 is finally behind us. The media are happy that the left seems to have
won on all fronts: a Tea Party favorite was defeated in Virginia, a radical socialist will be
mayor of New York City, and the Republicans' big winner was a noted "conservative,"
i.e. one in quotation marks. But the real takeaways are a little deeper, and leave political
debate more or less where it was, with Democrats burdened by a failing president and
Republicans riddled with factional divisions. Here are some of my own observations.
1. The 2016 Republican primary is a search for "not-Christie." The media have crowned
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as the presumptive Republican nominee in the next
presidential election. (They will turn on him as soon as it matters.) Republican voters
want a candidate who can win, but they are not in the mood to pick yet another blue-
state moderate who is weak on ObamaCare and a variety of other issues. The search for
"not-Christie" is on, and the question is whether anyone can match his charisma or his
fundraising.
2. Bill de Blasio still has to earn respect. New York City was eager for a change,
especially after Bloomberg overstayed his welcome: it was all but certain that a
Democrat would win. De Blasio was long considered too radical, but benefited from
Anthony Weiner's self-destruction and a split between the other frontrunners. Yet his
support remains shallow, and New Yorkers may quickly reject his policies. If he keeps
the best of the Giuliani-Bloomberg legacy, voters will continue to overlook the
occasional leftist indulgence.
3. The Tea Party is alive and fighting. Ken Cuccinelli was a Tea Party leader from the
beginning, and led the legal challenge to ObamaCare. So a loss for him is a blow to the
movement. Yet he was supposed to lose by double digits, and came very close to
winning, especially once he focused his message on ObamaCare. A consensus is
emerging Cuccinelli relied too heavily on old Republican campaign hands--and was
abandoned by an establishment eager to see a conservative defeated. That will steel the
Tea Party for fights to come.
4. Vote Libertarian, get bigger government. Conservatives got the lesson that liberals
got in 2000. While a dissenting vote for a third party has a certain narcissistic appeal, in
America's winner-take-all system, it is effectively a vote for the candidate you like least.
Terry McAuliffe did not win a majority in Virginia, but a win is a win, and the Libertarian
vote made the difference several times over. If the intent was to send a message to
Republicans, the effect was to remind the voters of the importance of party unity.
5. Social conservatism remains the GOP riddle. The biggest challenge facing
Republicans, especially as 2016 draws nearer, is how to run socially conservative
candidates that do not alienate socially liberal voters. Pointing out the Democrats'
radical values on issues such as abortion only goes so far. There are no easy answers,
and what works in one state may not work in another. The only general rule is that
candidates do better when they can project a sense of tolerance toward others,
regardless of differences of values.
6. The media are still a joke. If you needed further proof of the media's bias, you
needed no more than they provided on Election Day, when National Public Radio aired a
story about money in politics that focused on an obscure judicial election in Michigan
863

rather than the millions flowing into McAuliffe's campaign in Virginia. High-minded
journalists generally care about money in politics only when it benefits Republicans.
Otherwise they are content to look the other way--especially for a Clinton crony like Big
Mac.
7. The President is still in trouble. While ObamaCare's defenders rushed to declare
McAuliffe's win a victory for ObamaCare, that is wishful thinking. (Republicans could
only dare to dream that Democrats will run on ObamaCare in 2014.) On Election Day,
Obama's approval rating dropped into the 30s for the first time--one point lower, in fact,
than George W. Bush was at this post-Katrina point in his presidency. The ObamaCare
crisis is growing worse every day, and the president's second-term agenda has no life in
it.
8. Voters are in no mood for new taxes. Colorado voters overwhelmingly rejected
Amendment 66, which would have raised $1 billion in new revenues, ostensibly for
education, while doing away with the state's flat tax rate. In general, Colorado's
Democrats are on a losing streak, having lost two state senators in recall elections over
gun rights. But the rejection of new taxes in the blue state may also have national
importance as Washington heads into yet another intense round of negotiations over
the federal budget.
9. The shutdown hurt. The shutdown might have been a good opposition strategy, and
looks better in retrospect than it did at the time, as Democrats rush to embrace delays
to ObamaCare that they rejected just a few weeks ago. But it did have a cost, and one of
those costs may have been Virginia, where many federal employees live and work.
Christie also contrasted his state's governance with dysfunction in Washington--though,
ironically, he has often failed to work well with the Democrat-controlled New Jersey
legislature.
10. There is room for Republican optimism. Going into 2014, the Republican Party is
deeply divided on a variety of issues, especially immigration. The establishment-versus-
Tea Party fight will only become more intense as primaries loom. Yet McAuliffe barely
limped to a weak win; de Blasio won almost by default; Cuccinelli put on a respectable
showing; and Christie romped. There are 30 Republican governors, control of the House
seems secure, and the Senate is still winnable. Good times may yet be ahead.

concerns that The Forgotten Taxpayer sees as ignored by Dems and RINOs [including

Therefore, although we do not concur with this narrative, its provided for balance.

As Pennsylvanias 2014 gubernatorial election approaches, GOP incumbent Tom Corbett
looms as the weakest incumbent in modern state history. Indeed, many independent
national analysts actually consider him the most vulnerable incumbent governor in the
nation.

This state of things is not normal politics in the Keystone state. Far from it.

Traditionally, incumbent governors running for reelection have held so many political
advantages that defeating them became a hopeless, quixotic quest by the out party,
be they Democrat or Republican. In fact, the out-party running against incumbent
governors usually has had trouble even finding credible challengers.

But not this election.

Instead, state Democrats, inspired by Corbetts low popularity, are lining up in
unprecedented numbers to run against him. The current field of eight announced
candidates includes three former cabinet secretaries, a senior congresswoman, the
incumbent state treasurer, and an incumbent city mayor. Additional challengers may
866

yet enter the fray including a former state auditor general. Not only is it a large field,
but a strong one.

These two factors, Corbetts historically low support together with the strength of the
Democrats field, convince many observers that the governors fate is sealed. He cant
win in 2014. Republicans should probably just start to line up the moving vans they will
need when the voters banish them from Harrisburg.

Maybe, but dont bet too much on it.

Predicting Corbetts demise more than a year before election-day may turn out to be
like the false reports of Mark Twains death: greatly exaggerated.

In point of fact, the past half century of state gubernatorial elections suggests next
years race is likely to bring its share of surprises. What looks like a gathering Republican
train wreck in fall of 2013 could become a close election in the fall of 2014.

There are at least five compelling reasons to draw that conclusion:

1. Pennsylvania gubernatorial incumbents always win and usually win big. Pennsylvania
governors have been eligible to seek re-election since Milton Shapps first victory in
1970. Since then each incumbent governor has sought reelection and each has
succeeded. In 1974, Shapp won by 300,000 votes; Bob Casey in 1990 was re-elected by
more than one million; Tom Ridge in 1998 secured his re-election victory by 27 points;
and Ed Rendell coasted in 2006 by 21 points. Only Dick Thornburgh in 1982 was
challenged seriously and that re-election year coincided with the worst economic
downturn since the Great Depression. Even so, Thornburgh won by 100,000 votes.

2. Pennsylvanians overwhelmingly vote against the party of the sitting president. In 18 of
the last 19 gubernatorial elections, they have done exactly that. For Democrats the
statistics are equally bleak. When a Democrat has been in the White House (as is the
case now) the party has lost 16 of 17 gubernatorial elections back to 1860. If a Democrat
does win in 2014 it will be only the second time in 154 years a Democrat has won while
the Democratic Party held the White House.

3. Democrats dont always play nice with each other. Its likely that the Democratic
primary race will turn nasty. Most contested primaries do and this one, given the stakes
and expectations, almost certainly will. Well before primary day rolls around voters will
be treated to an avalanche of facts, figures and charges impugning the integrity, policy
positions and even personal lives of the candidates. This negative advertising will
inevitably weaken the eventual nominee in the fall contest. Corbett, with no primary
opponent, can watch as the Democrats in this large field proceed to attack each other.

4. Winning the Democratic primary might mean losing the General Election. In the last
decade or so, Democratic voters in the populous eastern part of the state have become
more liberal while the state as a whole has remained politically moderate. Consequently
the typical 2014 Democratic primary voter will likely be well to the left of the average
state voter. Given the current Democratic field of mostly social liberalspro-choice on
867

abortion and for gay marriage its plausible that liberal Democratic primary voters
might push the ultimate nominee so far to the left that more moderate general election
voters will not support them.

5. Money will heavily influence this election. Cash is king in Pennsylvania statewide
elections and any Democrat expecting to replace Corbett will need to raise plenty of it.
A hugely expensive media state, Pennsylvanias 2014 primary will cost a minimum of $5
million to compete, probably twice that to win. And thats just a start. The Democratic
nominee must keep pace with Corbetts own fundraising, which may reach or exceed
$30 million for the general election. Corbetts ability to raise campaign cash is a huge
advantage to him.

Any one of these factors should give pause to those who believe Corbett cant win or
that Democrats cant lose. All five factors must be sobering.

No doubt, Corbett is an unusually weak incumbent who can be defeated. But he still is
the incumbent and to defeat him the Democratic nominee must demonstrate
leadership, articulate vision and offer an alternative set of policies acceptable to voters.
Right now that looks easy. The challenge for Democrats is to make sure it still looks easy

http://www.scribd.com/doc/182650194/anti-BHO-CCXVII

Please read/skim this entire blast e-mail, for it encompasses the absolute-latest events in Israel and
their geopolitical import; DebkaFile is red-white-blue hot *Turkey shopped Mossad spies to Iran
Netanyahu is warned (undermining under-the-radar anti-nuke efforts); A red herring hid Irans handover
of secret US drone technology to Russia (with all due respect to BHOs reset); Obama to Netanyahu:
Iran sanctions will soon be partly lifted (supplanted, vide infra); Israeli air strikes in Syria reported by
foreign sources and US (after BHO leaked the data, infuriating Israel); Major Israel-US rift over
Washington plan to let Iran continue enriching uranium with sanctions relief (confirmed by Bibi, infra);
Geneva fallout: Iran becomes a nuclear power, followed by Saudis. Israel loses trust in Obama.]

Here is a pastiche of headlines from Drudge: kerry-making-unplanned-visit-to-geneva-for-iran-talks;
Iranian state television broadcast simulated missile attack on Israel; and Palestinians say Israel 'only
suspect' in Arafat death [ignoring the fact that the amount of polonium detected was minuscule and the
lack of a chain-of-custody militated against the ability to differentiate poisoning from (suspected) AIDS].
Also, lest we forget the ongoing level of [ignored by BHO, the Dems, the media] anti-Israel violence:
Terror Attack: Two Injured in Gush Etzion from Molotov Cocktail.

When BB appears to have completely lost itthe need to place BHOs foreign policy *along with his
domestic policy+ into some sort of receivership! Where-oh-where are those Dems whom AIPAC loves?
Illustrating the failure of the libs to pay attention is the fact that there are absolutely no references to
Israel in this weeks Jewish Exponent (except for citing Nutters trip and lamenting loss of the Consulate)!
[Instead, two lefties (Waskow, praised by Steinem) are lionized, and Interfaith Families are touted.]
Indeed, its one thing to be exasperated by the libs/progressives/Dems; its quite another to sense that
events may be unfolding rapidlyand, therefore, its necessary for emergence of an adult in the room.
Candidly, the situation is beyond infuriating, for these data have predictably resulted from prior errors.

*

While @ the polls on Tuesday, I concluded it would be counterproductive to remind Marcel Gruen, Esq.
[Chair of the MontCo Dems and professed-to-be-devout-friend-of-Israel] for the umpteenth-time of
how BHO endangers Eretz Yisrael, for fervent articulation of this highly-intuitive observation has fallen
on deaf-ears during the past half-decade [despite provision of documentation]; thus, his wife [Bernice]
was simply told they will share spillage of Israeli blood, while the votes were being counted @ 8 p.m.

Why?

Note that Furious Israel confronts USA because Obama secretly lifted Iran sanctions months ago and
now pushes the 'Deal of the century' which BB has publicly exclaimed: 'THIS IS A VERY, VERY BAD DEAL.'
Compounding this atmospheric is Kerrys attack on Zionism, for the pressure to capitulate is intense:

Secretary of State John Kerry of the United States delivered a grim warning to Israel
on Thursday that failure to make peace with the Palestinian Authority could trigger a
new Arab uprising. He said, in a joint interview with Israel's Channel 2 and the
869

Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation, "The alternative to getting back to the talks is the
potential of chaos." The top US diplomat asked, "I mean, does Israel want a third
intifada?" using the Arabic word for uprising.

Arlene Kushners interpretation is unnerving, even as Kerry appears poised to capitulate in Geneva:

The interview was with Udi Segal, of Israel's channel 2 and also with Maher Shalabi, of
Palestinian TV.

And so, what Kerry is also guilty of, besides intimidation and blackmail, is
incitement. He was speaking to a Palestinian Arab audience as well. And he was giving
the nod to their being violent if they are not happy with the Israeli stance.

This is the chief diplomatic officer of the United States of America? This is the despicable
low to which the US has fallen?

Please! Translate that outrage into action. Do not sit still for a secretary of state who
speaks to Israel thus. To protest to the White House or State Department is pointless.

Contact your Congressional representatives [here are links Congresspersons/Senators].
Protest this in the strongest terms. DEMAND that intimidation of Israel stop. Call for the
firing of Kerry. He doesn't qualify as dog catcher of Washington DC.

And, please, share this posting absolutely as broadly as you can, encouraging others to
also protest Kerry's behavior.

~~~~~~~~~~
On the flip side of this vile behavior, we can see encouraging news. Kerry is desperate
or he wouldn't be speaking this way. Pay no attention to his babble about how much
progress has been made in just days. He is not getting from Israel the concessions he is
seeking.
What is more, he has now thoroughly and completely discredited himself with the
Israeli government, which had no official comment. I don't know this from official
sources but understand it intuitively. He is less likely now, not more likely, to have the
leverage to convince our government of anything. One unnamed Israeli official called
this, from Kerry, "a worrying and dangerous precedent."
I would say that, should Arab violence increase in the wake of this interview, any Jewish
blood that is spilled would be on Kerry's hands.
Let us stay strong, and hold fast to our rights.
Much more - in particular on Iran - coming soon.
Shabbat Shalom.
Here is what Bibi said {read/weep}:
[Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA: Unprecedented. Watch the video and you can see PM
Netanyahu is both furious and terrified. Furious that the Americans are idiots. Terrified
about the ramifications.]
PM Netanyahu's Remarks Following his Meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry
(Communicated by the Prime Minister's Media Adviser)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this morning (Friday, 8 November 2013), made the
following remarks after his meeting with US Secretary of State John
Kerry:
"I met Secretary Kerry right before he leaves to Geneva.
- I reminded him that he said that no deal is better than a bad deal. And the deal that is
being discussed in Geneva right now is a bad deal.
- Its a very bad deal.
- Iran is not required to take apart even one centrifuge.
- But the international community is relieving sanctions on Iran for the first time after
many years.
- Iran gets everything that it wanted at this stage and pays nothing. And this is when Iran
is under severe pressure.
I urge Secretary Kerry not to rush to sign, to wait, to reconsider, to get a good deal. But
this is a bad deal, a very, very, bad deal. Its the deal of a century for Iran; its a very
dangerous and bad deal for peace and the international community."
[Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA: "no amount of pressure will make me or the Government of
Israel compromise on the basic security and national interests of the State of Israel."
From time to time PM Netanyahu has mentioned "national interests", typically terming
them "vital national interests".
Question: is "basic national interests" broader than "vital national interests"?
It would appear that "vital national interests" was limited in presentations
to united Jerusalem and the issue of the refugees. Is "basic" broader to
include, for example, the Machpelah in Hebron?]
These were PM Netanyahu's Remarks Prior to his Meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry
"I understand that the Iranians are walking around very satisfied in Geneva, as well they
should be, because they got everything, and paid nothing, they wanted.
871
- They wanted relief from sanctions after years of a grueling sanctions regime. They got
that.
- They are paying nothing because they are not reducing in any way their nuclear
enrichment capability.
- So Iran got the deal of the century and the international community got a bad deal.
- This is a very bad deal. Israel utterly rejects it and what I am saying is shared by many,
many in the region whether or not they express it publicly.
- Israel is not obliged by this agreement and Israel will do everything it needs to defend
itself, to defend the security of its people.
- That is true also of our negotiations with the Palestinians.
- I will never compromise on Israel's security and our vital interests, not in the face of
any international pressure.
- I think the pressure has to be put where it belongs, that is on the Palestinians who
refuse to budge.
- But I think in any case, no amount of pressure will make me or the Government of
Israel compromise on the basic security and national interests of the State of Israel.
The people of Israel know this and they support it, as they should."
This is the Special Message from Minister, and member of the Security Cabinet Naftali Bennett,
in regards to talks with Iran [https://www.facebook.com/bennettnaftalienglish]:
These critical days in November will be remembered for years to come.
The Free World stands before a fork in the road with a clear choice: Either stand strong
and insist Iran dismantles its nuclear-weapons program, or surrender, cave in and allow
Iran to retain its 18,500 centrifuges.
Years from now, when an Islamic terrorist blows up a suitcase in New York, or when Iran
launches a nuclear missile at Rome or Tel Aviv, it will have happened only because a Bad
Deal was made during these defining moments.
Like in a boxing match, Iran's regime is currently on the floor. The count is just seconds
away from 10. Now is the time to step up the pressure and force Iran to dismantle its
nuclear program. Not to let it up.
It would be dangerous to lift the sanctions and accept a deal which allows Iran to retain
its entire uranium-production line.
872
It would be dangerous because Iran would, a year, two or three from now, just turn
everything back on and obtain a nuclear weapon before the world can do anything to
stop it.
It is not enough to shut off the centrifuges. They need to be completely dismantled.
We call upon the West to avoid signing a Bad Deal.
Israel's responsibility is to ensure the security of its citizens and that is exactly what we
will do.
We will never outsource our security
Lest the immediate consequences on the ground be ignored, know that Iran reciprocated Azerbaijan
border closure [Press TV (Iran) Fri Nov 8, 2013 1:15PM GMT+; recall that last years BHO-inspired leak
was of the tactical plan to refuel any bombers [of Israel upon Iran] using this country [contiguous to Iran
from the north+. Note the gathering clouds of war *illustrating how Iran is pressuring BHO+:
Iran has sealed off Jolfa and Bileh-Savar border crossings with the Republic of Azerbaijan
in response to Bakus closure of a passage point along the border between the two
neighbors, an Iranian diplomat says.
Mohammad Ayatollahi, the press secretary at Iran Embassy in Baku, said on Friday that
Iranian border guards closed the border crossing on Thursday in reaction to Azerbaijans
closure of Poledasht-Shah Takhti border crossing and Baku's refusal to negotiate over
the issue.
Iran closed Jolfa and Bileh-Savar border crossings after issuing an advance notice to the
Azeri side, noted the Iranian official.
Ayatollahi said Azerbaijan sealed the border crossing in an unconventional move on
Wednesday after an unidentified assailant opened fire on a tractor in the border region
without causing any casualties.
He stated that the border closure has created serious problems for Iranian passengers
and drivers.
Ayatollahi said, under similar circumstances, border guards from both countries meet to
resolve the case.
But, despite the request of Iranian border guards, the Azeri side has refused to
negotiate and has moved to close Poledasht border crossing, the Iranian official added.
He stated that an Iranian border guard was killed by Azeri security forces in Bileh-Savar
two years ago, but Iran did not close the border and pursued the issue through the
relevant authorities.
Subject: Anti-BHO "blasts" Continue -CCXVIII [ObamaCare and Israel]
http://www.scribd.com/doc/182681299/anti-BHO-CCXVIII
Rush just issued an alarum that mirrored points made earlier, lamenting the difficulty conjuring how
undoing BHOs fundamental transformation would be: Why would any American allow the #1-home
of global terrorism become nuked-up? He quoted the same data, expressed the same exasperation.
*Linking the two hot-stories, he said factiously, If you like your nukes, Tehran, you can keep them.
He quoted Rick Perry, as well, satirically imagining If you like your guns, you can keep them.+ Perhaps
the reaction of the public will forestall this [Israel abandoned], although it appears to be a done-deal
[Iranian Negotiator: Tehran Will Not Give Up Right to Enrich Uranium - Iranian officials appear pleased
with potential deal] for why else would Bibi have gone-public in such a non-ambiguous fashion?
Whitehouse.gov still says if you like the insurance you have, keep it *screenshot+,
prompting leno to quip that the white-house-tech-team-cant-log-on-to-change this
false-ObamaCare-promise. {BTW, tonight, ted-Cruz will hold his late-night TV debut!}
Indeed, an essay [The Truth About Obama's Lies+ noted that BHOs approach is based on
Machiavellis effectual truth (deeds are sovereign and consequences matter most):
Truth shown in the outcome of his thought. The truth of words is in the result they
produce or, more likely, fail to produce: When confronted by a necessity, Machiavelli
advises, do not worry about justice, but act and the words to justify your action will
come to you afterward. {Thus, the end justifies the means, not matter how heinous.-
Rush concluded that BHOs apology was actually a condemnation of the idiot-Americans who had not
properly understood his remarks; that he had ended his quote without a qualifier and with a period,
such concerns havent permeated MSNBC/CNN *for they are forever-focused on cinema social-issues].
Rush views this non-apology for-losing-health-care-insurance as c/w the Limbaugh Theorem [whereby
BHO claims hes the victim+; he quoted the Freudian-Slip of last nights blast in which he said HE had
been burned, and he essentially claimed BHO was sorry anyone had ever believed what hed said.
,Rush also concluded ObamaCare = Communism, noting that EVERYONE will lose their current plans.-
Rush also noted that BHOs claim that only 5% of Americans were affected in this way,
notwithstanding the fact that varying-%ages *in that realm+ were said to have triggered
creation of ObamaCare in the first place. Illustrating the pervasive nature of this event,
former MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan wrote Thnx Mr. President after he announced that
the health insurance plan he purchased on the individual market after leaving the news
network was being cancelled; the new plan for he was eligible would cost him 3.5 times
more than his previous plan. *Rush also noted that referring to the lousy old plans was
omitted from his interview (also used by Rep. Pallone), perhaps because it had been
rejected by focus-groups; he concludedas has been noted in prior blast e-mails
that BHO is probably as happy as a clam about the disruption that has occurred, for
this will now be invoked to create a single-payer system that he has all-along coveted.]
,In todays column, Rhetoric vs. Reality, Krauthammer contrasts speeches/governance
and, of course, finds the perpetual campaign mindset/behavior to be reprehensible;
874
also in the WaPo is the claim (mirroring the view of the Dems) in Ezra Kleins Wonkbook
that Obama shouldn't apologize for blowing-up the terrible individual market.}
Meanwhile, after having trashed the TEA Party Movement on MSNBC, to the delight of co-host Mika
[Id_pay_to_see_chris_christie_pull_a_tea_partiers_lungs_out], Charlie Cook admitted The GOP Still
Hasn't Figured Out How to Get On With the Tea Party; this reflects, perhaps, a judgment that others may
have done the same arithmetic as was articulated in prior blasts and have, thus, been forced to see
that far more GOP-Establishment seats can be primaried, compared with those of true-conservatives.
[In light of what they did to Cuccinelli, no accommodation is desirable; this mindset may explain also
why tea-party-activist-Niger-Innis is considering-congressional-run [joining a growing-list of reformists],
even as revelations of cronyism continues to abound [billionaire-farmers-raking-in-farm-subsidies].
{Also, regarding POTUS-16. The Council on the American Islamic Relations (CAIR) excoriated many of its
critics in their "Islamophobia" report, but its "Best List Inductees" included N.J. Governor Chris Christie.}
Lest we forget Dems are the major perpetrators of pay to play, note BHOs latest:
Raising over $2 million dollars for BHO helped the rsum of Colleen Bell. Now, she has
been tapped to become the next ambassador to Hungary. She and her husband hosted
an event at their house that was $35,800 per person and had star power, along with
their own personal donations. The most important part of Bells rsum is that she is a
producer for The Bold and the Beautiful, a soap opera. While the world is at peace, it
still seems that an ambassadorship in a European nation would be an important role.
In other news, a Book claimed State Department Knew Benghazi Was Terrorist Attack Within Minutes,
as Samantha-Power-Praised-Jane-Fonda; and, as awareness of the ominous/predictable fact grows that
Common Core Lessons Are Bringing Politics Into the Classroom, an Urgent Message On Common Core
was issued on TheBlazeTV c/o The Glenn Beck Radio Program (a battle being fought by Anastasia).
Also, today, a Dem-PAC tried-to-breach-security-and trespass during Mikes appearance-
at-a-public-school. Its difficult to feel sorry for Mike, however, because he has failed to
hold monthly Town Meetings [2010 Campaign Pledge], particularly [also] noting that his
having voted to fund ObamaCare has led to the composition of scary-scenario-essays
such as one that predicts taxpayers will have a choice: settle for single-payer or bail out
private insurance, which otherwise wont survive the ravages of ObamaCare. Indeed,
illustrative of what Mike should have done, is this letter depicting what Pat Toomey did:
November 8, 2013
Dear Mr. Potok,
Thank you for contacting me about the government shutdown and the
debt limit. I appreciate hearing from you.
Recently, an impasse over the funding of the president's health care law
resulted in a government shutdown. Some members of Congress
pledged not to support legislation to fund the government (a continuing
resolution or any other appropriations legislation) that did not include
language which completely defunded the president's health care law.
While I staunchly oppose the president's health care law and support its
875
full repeal, I believe it was impractical to expect President Obama to
sign legislation that would effectively negate what he considers to be his
signature accomplishment.
In an attempt to break the all-or-nothing standoff, I proposed a way to
fund the government and to repeal some of the most egregious parts of
the president's health care law. I sought to offer three amendments to
the Senate's proposed continuing resolution: the first would have
repealed the medical devices tax that is costing Pennsylvania jobs; the
second would have provided relief from the infringement on religious
liberty in the health care law; the third would have delayed the
individual mandate for one year. All three items had bipartisan support,
could have passed the Senate, and might well have been acceptable to
the House. Unfortunately, the Democratic leadership would not permit
me to offer these reasonable amendments, and the impasse was not
resolved in time to prevent the government from shutting down on
October 1st.
After sixteen days of negotiations, Senate leadership was able to
produce legislation that garnered enough support to temporarily fund
the government until January 15, 2014. The major redeeming aspect of
this bill was that it reopened the government, and I am glad it got the
shutdown behind us.
Unfortunately, the measure also included a provision to suspend any
limits on the government's ability to accumulate debt through February
7, 2014. One of the reasons we have a debt limit is that it forces
Congress to debate and re-examine the policies that have put our
country so far in the red. Since arriving in the Senate I have argued that
spending as usual is very damaging to our economy, and have
advocated for using the debt limit as a reasonable opportunity to push
for serious fiscal reform. In 2011, the president was willing to negotiate
with members of Congress. In exchange for the $2.1 trillion in new debt
he sought, the president agreed to limit future discretionary spending in
the Budget Control Act (P.L. 112-25). Unfortunately, this fall, the
president refused to even discuss any curbs on spending.
I could not support piling hundreds of billions of dollars of new debt on
current and future generations of Americans without even a sliver of
reform or any new spending restraints to start putting our fiscal house
in order. It is for this reason that, on October 16, 2013, I voted against
the final bill which passed the Senate by a vote of 83-18. Shortly after,
the House passed the measure by a vote of 285-144, and it was signed
into law by the President early on October 17th.
Thank you again for your correspondence. Please do not hesitate to
contact me in the future if I can be of assistance.
876
Sincerely,
Pat Toomey
U.S. Senator, Pennsylvania
