Junior Research Fellowship at WII (Masters Degree as per rules para 2.1.1 with 60% aggregate
and above. Age shall not be more than 28 years of age as on date of NET. Upper age limit is relaxed
up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women & Physically Challenged)

2. Application for admission to Ph.D. Program in Wildlife Science (Subject Code: 32-WL) of
Saurashtra University (Masters Degree as per para 5.1 with 55% aggregate and above and 5%

Fee details for Ph.D. Entrance Test of Saurashtra University: Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five

For WII-NET candidate(s) possessing Masters Degree shall only be eligible to appear for the award of
Junior Research Fellowship at WII.
For Ph.D. Entrance Test of Saurashtra University in the discipline Wildlife Science, candidate appearing in
their Post Graduation final year examination shall also be eligible to apply but their results will be validated
only on production of the final semester result by the candidates to the Institute in the same academic
term/semester.

General Instructions for National Eligibility Test (WIINET) and
Ph.D. Entrance Test in the discipline of Wildlife Science
1. National Eligibility Test (WII-NET 2014) and Ph.D., Entrance Test of Saurashtra University,
Rajkot will be conducted on 2
nd
November 2014 at 10:30 hrs at Dehra Dun.
2. The last date for submission of `on-line application by the candidate is on or before Monday,
20
th
October 2014 by e-mail to rc@wii.gov.in.
3. The application form shall be downloaded from the Institutes website www.wii.gov.in.
The downloaded application should be filled by the candidate in `BOLD LETTERS by
hand and affix a recent passport size colour photograph in appropriate box. The duly
filled-in application form along with documents (Masters Degree Certificate, Final Year
Mark Sheet giving overall marks obtained by the candidate, Date of Birth proof and a
copy of the original caste certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable) shall
be scanned in .pdf format and sent by e-mail to rc@wii.gov.in. The application along
with other desired documents as mentioned above should not exceed 5 MB size.
4. The list of candidates eligible to appear for the WII-NET/Ph.D. Entrance Test will be hosted in
the Institutes website www.wii.gov.in on 22
nd
October 2014.
5. The Admit Card for the eligible candidates for WIINET/Ph.D. Entrance Examination will be
sent by e-mail on or before 24
th
October 2014.
6. All original documents (filled-in-Application Form, Date of Birth Certificate, Masters Degree
Certificate, Final Year Mark Sheet giving overall marks obtained by the candidate and a copy
of the original caste certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable) along with
Demand Draft(s) of the prescribed fee as per preference of the candidate should be submitted
on 2
nd
November 2014 at the time of registration i.e. 09:00hrs at WII.
7. Syllabus and other details can be downloaded from the Institutes website www.wii.gov.in.
8. Applicants should clearly mention all contact details (phone/mobile/e-mail) in the application
form.
9. The Attendance Slip for the eligible candidates for WIINET/Ph.D. Entrance Examination will
be issued at the time of registration along with document verification on 2
nd
November 2014 at
0900 hrs.
10. The Institute will not provide any accommodation and travel cost(s) for candidates appearing
for WIINET/Ph.D. Entrance Examination. They are required to travel at their own cost to the
Examination Centre and make arrangements at their own for their stay, if required.
11. The Director, WII, reserves the right to reject any candidature in view of incomplete
information provided by the candidate or for any other reason.
