In addition to this, HMX expects to procure trial orders for DAMA / Economizer during the year.

Manpower planning: Installation activities are being carried out by factory personnel being sent
on deputation. HMX proposes to transfer / recruit new boys for installation and commissioning.

Installation & commissioning co-ordination: In the first deliveries being effected, a few co
ordination issues (between HMX & CTG) arose. These are being sorted out to avoid
recurrence. Company is preparing a dossier of ‘lessons learnt’ from each of the project sites.
This should help the company streamline the various issues pertaining to product – despatch –
site co ordination –installation – commissioning.

For 2nos.of 41K Hybrid machine supplied to M/s. ITC ltd. Ranjangoan thru’ ETA
Engineering, a special Control panel with Rittal Box was assembled and inspected
by ITC engineers with their Electrical consultants. This control panel is more
sophisticated than the usual control panels made in-house. Hence this is separately
highlighted.

Photos of the control panel being packed and loaded in a Lorry are enclosed as

PDIM - (Product development and improvement meeting)We have planned for a

fortnightly PDIM - amongst the entire production, design & engineering team. First
meeting was held on 28.08.09. All engineers were given an opportunity to come out with
an idea for improving the product quality. After going thru’ various points raised during
the meeting, finally three important points were considered for implementation. These
points were considered as we had customer complaints against it. The details of the
meeting are enclosed as Annexure-5.

Large Size ( 50K to 3L K )machines. The machine specification covered the entire
requirement of the Sales team which captured both mechanical and electrical data for
different static pressures.
• Quality plans drawn for components and sub-assembly was implemented for Wipro
Dabur machines. Inspection report done for these machines and submitted to Wipro
Quality dept.
• As part of ISO,Clause Elements training was conducted for all sectional incharge.
• We have commenced collecting Machine & men utilization data. Month wise utilisation
