Guess the action verbs in the word strips from the Guessing Game in groups. c. Recite poem based on PowerPoint presentation with correct pronunciation and intonation. d. Perform Poetry in Motion in groups based on the poem read.

Presentation (15 minutes)
Recite a poem entitled Play

1. Teacher shows poem entitled Play on the LCD. 2. Firstly, teacher recites the poem while pupils listen attentively to the recitation. 3. Next, teacher recites the poem again but followed by the pupils with correct pronunciation and intonation. 4. After that, teacher

Refer Appendix 2 asks pupils to recite the poem aloud without teacher guidance. 5. Next, teacher asks pupils to work in pair. 6. Teacher distributes each pair a worksheet. 7. Teacher gives instructions to pupils and pupils listen attentively. 8. Pupils complete the worksheet by filling in the blanks with the action verb words based on the picture. 9. Teacher discusses the answer in class.

Guessing game.

1. Teacher will conduct an action guessing game. 2. Teacher explains the rules of the game. 3. Teacher asks volunteers to come to the front. 4. The pupils pick one paper from the box that has an action word. 5. The pupils will have to do action and other pupils have to guess.

Closure (5 minutes)
