Academic Coordinator

Responsibilities
To make recommendations regarding the design, development and
revision of course programs.
To recommend revisions and development of courses.
To participate in student recruitment, selection, placement and
academic advising to students and faculty.
To plan, implement and monitor field work components of programs.
To coordinate program team activities and provide an orientation and
curriculum consultation to part-time faculty.
To liaise with appropriate school personnel.
To advise the Director Studies on emerging trends in program
curricula and on implementation strategies for curriculum revision.
To review with the Director Studies all matters relating to
coordinating activities.
To provide input to timetabling decisions and preparation
To develop and maintain statistical records on course activities within
his jurisdiction and to analyze results as reuited
To identify the need for, and to recommend reuirements for,
facilities, euipment, supplies and maintenance of resources.
To advise the Director Studies regarding budget decisions affecting
program curriculum and design.
To coordinate the evaluation of student progress, including
recommendations regarding completion and registration status.
To participate as a resource person in academic activities.
!ollection of "io-Data forms and "-#orms of students.
To solve problems of students regarding understanding, learning and
checking of their course program.
Authority Limit
$% change in syllabus is permitted without informing Director
Studies.
$% right of calling and attending the meetings of students& parents.
$% right of 'mposing his teaching techniues to teachers, only
guidance is permitted
