Title: How Consistent is Human Behavior
Thesis: Consistency in human behavior varies.
I. An assumption to most personality theories is that people behave consistently.
II. Empirical evidence for consistency in human behavior is slim.
III. The discrepancy between the data found in various studies and the consistency
assumption that behavior is consistent is given varying explanations.
A. The consistency assumption is flawed; behavior is, in general, situation-specific.
B. The consistency assumption is precise; majority of the research assumes that
every person can be described by a trait and by how much of the trait they
possess.
C. The consistency assumption may be valid on traits central to an individuals
personality.
D. The consistency assumption may not be valid on traits irrelevant for the
individual.
IV. The concept of traits, if developed on a more individualistic aspect, is significant
in predicting behavior.
V. (Conclusion), make one always

Title: How Consistent is Human Behavior
Thesis: Consistency in human behavior varies.
The evidence for the consistency in human behavior is slim over the years of
various researches; there is the discrepancy between the data and our intuition that is to be
explained as follows: it may be that our consistency assumption is flawed and that behavior is
generally situational, or it may be that our consistency assumption is precise; those researches
assume only that every person could be described by a trait and by how much of the trait they
possess, whereas our intuitions never make such example. There is also the possibility that the
consistency of behavior varies on the traits that builds ones personality.

Thesis: The Filipino people are not responsible for its suffering.
In their book, Valera-Ravina and Ravina-Da Silva share the message Rizal expressed in his
request to the government to grant more freedom. They say that in Rizals point-of-view, the
Spanish colonizers must be blamed for the suffering of those people who are not free; if the
people are in charge of their own actions, the people themselves are responsible for their
sufferings, whereas we Filipinos do not have our freedom over our actions and thoughts and so
the foreign government must be blamed. On the other hand, they say that Rizal not only held the
Spaniards responsible for the loss of freedom. They say that Rizal held all of us responsible, not
for our hardships and suffering, but for our loss of freedom. We barely did anything to protect
our freedom.
