INTRODUCTON

As we live in an age of science, it is essential that
the students have a deep insight in to the background of
science. People seem to posses the seeds of creativeness
but climate for germination is absent. It is generally seen
that our school programmers are not giving due place to
scientific experiences and proper improvement.
Each individual has his own interest talents and
abilities. Even a progressive syllabus education fails to
enter to the science educator, now a days are found to
exhibits growing interest and means of stimulating group
participation and mobilizing interest in learning science
In this way students get better comprehension of
the things. There by develops jealous enthusiasm in them
to strive for the cause of science.
Community awareness programs is that they will
be able to judge their (student) and the weakness and to
identify the areas in which they really need outside
assistance

COMMUNITY AWARENESS
PROGRAMME

Community awareness program empower citizen to
help play a role in enhancing our community.
The community awareness program is an interactive
course taught by members of the public safety
community.
It provide citizen with the basic tool needed to
recognize and help prevent criminal activities and
terrorism in the place


IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY
AWARENESS

The main aim of the community awareness
programs is to make the community more
informed, alert, self-reliant and capable of
participating in all activities.
The programs of sharing in chose collaboration
with government and non-government
organization.
The awareness will not only promote community
participation but also enable them to understand.
What can be the impact of particular program
reduction and available assistance in time.
Implementation of self preparation measure
whenever required.
What community can do till any external
help is available

TYPES OF AWARENESS
REQUIRED

The community should be provided all necessary
information available with administration.
The flow all information should continue even the
normal periods.
People should know that the government have
common goals, they must work together at every
step to overcome the problem, which arises and to
restore things to normal.
Community should be aware of the relevant details
of the program management system

safe building or other safe place.

Community awareness is the key to
communicate participate well informed and to
aware people will have more role clarity in
program reduction and properness programs.
They will become more self reliant in the long
and less dependent on the government


SCIENTIFIC SEMINARS

A scientific seminar is generally a form of
academic instruction, either at an academic

Institution or offered by commercial or
professional organization.

It has the function of bringing together small
group for recurring meeting, focusing each
time on particular science related topic

This is often accomplished through an
ongoing Socratic dialogue with a seminar
leader or instruction or through a more
formal presentation of research.

The idea behind the seminar system is to
familiarize student more extensively with the
methodology of their chosen subject.

It is essential a place where assigned reading
are can be discussed, questions can be raised
and debate can be conducted.

It is relatively informal, at least compared to
the lecture system of academic institution.

SCIENCE FAIR


Science fair is a opportunity for student to apply
the scientific method to conduct independent
research.

The result of each students research is presented in
a School wide science fair or sponsored local
science fair where the student who have been
judged to have used the scientific method properly
and who have demonstrated and thoroughness in
their studies and effort are awarded prize and are
advanced to complete in regional, national, state,
international level.


Local science fair are usually held and sponsored b
public and private primary and secondary school to
give the students within those schools the
opportunities to do independent research and to
decide which of their student research is good
enough to represent their school of the regional
fair.

SCIENCE FRIDAY

Science Friday is a weekly call in talk show that
broadcasting each Friday.

Science Friday is hosted by award winning science
journalist and was created and is produced by science
Friday.

This program is divided into two-one-h our
programs. The focus of each program is nature,
science and technology and the news and information
for most of it existence, science Friday was sub
programs within talk of the nation.

It was supported as a series in its own right when talk
of the Nation was canceled in June 2013.


Science Friday is also available in a podcasting
format and is one of the most popular iTunes
downloads, frequently in the top 15 downloads each
week.
Sci-fri podcasts are downloaded over 23 million
times per year and over 1.3 million listener tune in
the each week to hear the programs.
Science Friday helps create educational materials and
finds underwriting fir the programs

SCIENTIFIC EXHIBITION

The purpose of the science exhibition is to develop
scientific attitudes in the young generation of our
Country to make them realize the interdependence of
science and society and the responsibility of the
scientist tomorrow.

The objective may be achieved by presenting the
exhibits as an exciting experiment of creativity of
children, innovations through improvisation of
science kits and various device model socio
economic properties.

The exhibition children and teacher to learn from
each other experience and motivate them to design
and develop something new and novel.

It will also provide a medium for popularizing
science and increase aware among the public towards
it.

The main aim of providing a common platform to
school, teacher and student to give shape to their
innovate ideas and inculcating in them a scene of
pride in their talent.

SCIENCE PROJECTS
A science projects is an education activity for
students involving experience, experiments or
construction of models.
Students may present their science projects of the
science fair so that they may also call it Science fair
projects. Science fair projects may be classified into 4
types they are


1 EXPERIMENT PROJECTS
This is an investigation project start with a
question use the scientific method to complete the
research and end with a report detailing the result and
conclusion
2 ENGINEERING PROJECTS
This projects start with a design of a machine or
mechanical structure with the purpose of improvising
strength or performance. Research implements all their
design idea in a model they construct.

3 DISPLAY PROJECTS
It involves creative assembly of a broad and
construction of a model to show a visual representation of
large facts. Making a model of solar system, an electric
circuit is an examples for display projects.
4 THEORATICAL PROJECTS
It involves the same format as experiment
projects. However for several possible reasons such as
lack of feasibility due to cost, actual experiment is not
performed.

SCIENTIFIC CONTROVERSY

A scientific controversy may be a fundamental
disagreement among scientist about the validity of a
major theory, a secondary scientific disagreeing a
less central aspect of scientific idea.

A true scientific controversy involves a sustained
debate within the border of scientific community.


In other words, a scientific number of people must be
actively engaged in research that addresses the
controversy over time.
True scientific controversy is healthy and involves
disagreement over how data should be interpreted,
over which ideas are best supported by the available
evidence, and over which idea are worth
investigating further.

SCIENCE CLUBS

A science club is an out-of- school hour club that
offers children the chance to do science related
activities that extent and enhance the science they
experience in the classroom.

Each science club is different as the each program
reflect the interest of the children, the club organizer
and the facilities available.


Most clubs use the opportunity to explore areas of
science not covered by the curriculum and give the
club members plenty of opportunities to do practical
science.

A science club can be run in a lunch break.


Some organizations are able to offer Saturday clubs.

Science club sessions typically last for about
45minutes.
In this, the members might completely a challenge,
plan, a science project or a special scientific visitor.



FIELD TRIP AND EXCURSION

Education is not confined to class room teaching.

Life in the classroom can cover only a small part of
our total life.


If learning is to result in total development of the
learners we must go beyond the school walls in to the
community as students and as working participants.

The chief purpose of field trips is to give students
first hands experience that cannot be had in the
classroom. Students can see things, hear things,
handle things and examine them.


Field trips stimulate interest and increase
appreciation as it co-related learning through the use
of many techniques other than reading and speaking.

As it co-related learning in the class room with the
community.

A field trip provides enough raw materials that would
promote development of sense, knowledge, emotions
and skills.

It gives relief from routine classroom work and
provides opportunity for bringing out talent and
tastes.










CONCLUSION

Student of today, especially of the school level, perceive
as a collection of facts to be memorized. Whereas in
reality it is constantly changing as new forms of
information accumulates and new techniques develop
every day. The objective of teaching is not restricted to
impart scientific informations to students, but also to
help them to apply these principles in their life.
Community awareness programs provided
all necessary information available with administration.
The flow information should continue even in the normal
period. Students and teachers must work together to
overcome the problem which arise and to restore things to
normal. Also certain community awareness enables
students to apply what they were taught in the classroom.
Thus we can achieve one of the aims of the education.
Also we understood that community awareness programs
play a vital role in making teaching learning process more
fruitful.
