Knowing that Spring can be a tricky thing in the Rockies, I hesitate to
say it, but it was a wonderful week and just knowing that more warm
days are ahead is encouraging. Didn’t you love it? If you have a con-
vertible, I’ll bet you had the top down at least once this week and if you
ride a bike, I’ll bet you were on it. What is it about this time of year that
makes you just groan when the weatherman says that it’s ONLY going
to be in the 50’s?
Thanks for your support last Sunday. No, it wasn’t support for DFC or
for your pastor. It was your support for the Kingdom and for Jesus,
who didn’t JUST die, but He rose again. Thanks for proclaiming your
faith in the Resurrection by your attendance at a service designed to
honor Him. And thanks for praying for the day. We had 82 who indi-
cated, via the commitment cards, that they had accepted Christ or had
rededicated their lives to Christ. We had 48 information packets in the
prayer room and they were all given away at the conclusion of the ser-
vice. And thank you for your participation in our Easter Offering for
Others. We are currently at $99,000 and with the help of those who
will still want to participate, I believe that we will be able to reach this
goal for the cause of the Kingdom.
Today, I will finish the sermon series on “Fulfilling My Mission.” Next
Sunday I will begin a new series titled: “How to be a Person After God’s
Own Heart.” There are good days ahead. Keep looking up.

Women’s Retreat in Estes
This year’s Women’s Retreat is April 18-20 at the Holiday Inn in Estes Park.
Registrations are due by April 7th. Register TODAY at the Adult Ministries
Booth.
Spring Tea
The Women of the Word would like to invite you to an elegant Spring Tea
on May 10th at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Tickets are $8.00 per
person. Pick up your tickets today at the Adult Booth or the Adult
Ministries Office.
Mission: Africa 2008
Team meeting on Sunday, April 6th following the morning service in the
Community Room. Dates for this trip are July 30 - August 12.
