Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the
four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried
with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed Strong # 4972 -
sphragizo - the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty
and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Rev 7:5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and
kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white
robes, and palms in their hands;
Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and
unto the Lamb.
Rev 7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and
fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and
might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white
robes? and whence came they?
Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of
great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he
that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
Rev 7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any
heat.
Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living
fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth,
neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal

According to the pre trib view Rev 7 represents the Tribulation saints, the Church is
raptured in Rev 4 prior to the opening of the 1st seal.
Which results in the Church and the Holy Spirit gone/absent from the earth at the
onset of the tribulation.
Notice the number of Christian workers currently serving in ministry throughout the
world, who witness, and are preaching and testifying to the salvation available in Christ.
Notice the growth from 3 million in 1500 AD to 648 million in 2009, utilizing several
million preachers of the gospel.
That said the "tribulation saints", a term not found in scripture, are so numerous that no
man could number, will be evangelized and saved through the efforts and witnessing of
144,000 jewish men, who do not have the gospel of Jesus, nor do they know him as
Savior *- the Church “raptured”, and the Holy Spirit lifted off the earth- all happening in
the following "climate" and attitude prevalent on the earth: (*They will recognize him
as Messiah later but not at his point - Rev 7)
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall
be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall
hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity (lawlessness, wickedness) shall abound, the love of
many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented
not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold,
and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor
walk:
Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their
fornication, nor of their thefts.
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God,
which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores,
and repented not of their deeds.
What could not be accomplished in 509 years with millions of christian workers will by
done* by unsaved Jewish men in 7 years when men's hearts are not soft, but are rather
hostile towards God and hatred towards men, when the love of many will grow cold.
*Accomplished - the salvation of "tribulation saints" during the trib which no man can
number.
Notice the Greek word for seal does NOT mean, indicate or even imply witness or
witnesses. Nor does it mean preacher.
The truth of the matter is that the group mentioned in Rev 7 is the rapture of the Church
- who have come out of the great tribulation.
These represent the believers living on the earth at the time of Christ's return or Day of
the Lord.
The Jewish remnant will be sealed and protected against God's wrath - the Church will
be removed off the scene to meet the Lord in the air and so we shall always be with the
Lord. - prior to His wrath - but not the wrath of Satan and the Great Tribulation; those
days being cut short.
If the 144,000 were witnesses and preachers - evangelists and missionaries would not a
different Greek word have been used, kerusso?
See to it that no man deceives* you!!!
That Greek word is:

kerusso <2784> Mar 13:10
