To be considered for a scholarship, your scholarship applicaton must
received no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of the class(es).

This actvity is supported in part by an award from the MICHIGAN COUNCIL FOR
ARTS AND CULTURAL AFFAIRS and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS.
ACT ofers a number of opportunites just for
adults. Graduated Art classes are classes for
people ages 16 and up. These programs ofer
opportunites to meet new friends, develop
creatvity, and building selfconfdence, all
while learning about and creatng art!

For two hours, partcipants will have access to ACT art supplies to create
their own masterpieces! Along with this, there will also be planned crafs
for those who prefer a bit more guidance.

Open Studio
ACTion Drummers: This in-depth drumming class is for folks
interested in learning more about drumming and performing in
various community locatons. To become an ACTion drummer,
you must have taken an introductory drumming course, or you
must set up a tme to meet with Josh Dunigan, ACTion
Drummers instructor. To do so, contact Becky at #616-885-5866

Cartooning & Illustraton: Students will learn the basics of
cartooning & illustraton. They will get to develop their own
personal style as they learn how to tell stories through
drawing!
Aboriginal Art: Students will explore the ancient, tribal style of
Australian Aboriginal art, through paintng and mixed media
projects.

ACT encourages partcipants to bring an assistant if necessary for meaningful
partcipaton in class. There is no cost for assistants. Please note that we will not
provide art supplies for assistants as the purpose of the assistant is to help the
partcipant, not to work on his or her own art project.
