PureForm SMF DCM

Modules
Based on dispersion compensation fiber technology patented and
field-proven by Corning, PureForm SMF DCM Modules work
hand-in-glove with standard single-mode fiber, and specifically
compliment the transmission characteristics of Corning SMF-28
Fiber. PureForm SMF DCM Modules efficiently counteract the
effects of chromatic dispersion across the C-band wavelengths
by providing dispersion slope-compensation tailored for
conventional single-mode fiber.
Applications
Long-haul communications systems operating in the 1525 nm to
1565 nm wavelength range
Multi-channel high-bit-rate DWDMsystems
Cable television AM video links
Long-reach metropolitan networks
Features
Provides optimized dispersion compensation across the 1525 nm
to 1565 nm passband on conventional single-mode fiber (ITU G.652)
Enhances DWDM system performance by reducing residual dispersion
Environmentally robust and fully passive
Module packaging and a variety of pigtail lengths and connector
types available
Optimal Dispersion Compensation
for Standard Single-mode Optical Fiber
