The document discusses how to conjugate Spanish verbs with the conditional and imperfect subjunctive. It provides examples of conjugating AR, ER, and IR verbs in the conditional tense. It explains that the verb following "si" (if) must usually be in the imperfect subjunctive when expressing a conditional desire. Examples are given of sentences using both the conditional and imperfect subjunctive correctly, such as "Si él ganara la loteria él comparía una mansión" (If he were to win the lottery, he would buy a mansion).

Modern lesson is on the subject matter is on how to conjugate Spanish verbs with the conditional and imperfect subjunctive or earlier subjunctive. You may remember that in a preceding lesson, I stated that a single of the most complicated matters for me as a university student of the Spanish language was the Conditional when made use of with the Imperfect Subjunctive.
The Imperfect Subjunctive is also known as the Earlier Subjunctive.
In situation you are bewildered about what the Conditional is in Spanish, allow me give you an example.
The Conditional and the AR verb "praticar":
Practicara (I would practice)
Practicaras (You *casual* would apply)
Practicaramos (We would practice)
Practicara (you *official*, he, she would practice)
Practicaran (They or "you men" would practice)
The Conditional and the ER verb "correr":
Correra (I would Run)
Correras (You *casual* would operate)
Correramos (We would run)
Correra (you *formal*, he, she would operate)
Correran (They or "you fellas" would operate)
The Conditional and the IR verb "vivir":
Vivira (I would are living)
Viviras (You *casual* would stay)
Viviramos (We would reside)
Vivira (you *formal*, he, she would are living)
Viviran (They or "you fellas" would reside)
Appears genuinely easy. Will not it? But my dilemma was not when I experienced to use the Conditional by alone. It was when I was required to use equally the CONDITIONAL and the IMPERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE collectively.
If I required to say what anyone would do if he received the lottery, I would make an INCORRECT statement like:
Si l gana la loteria l compara una mansin. (If he wins the lottery, he would obtain a mansion.)
This is the correct way to say it:
Si l ganara la loteria l compara una mansin. (If he have been to gain the lottery, he would obtain a mansion.)
In Spanish, if you are expressing a desire that is "iffy," the verb that follows "si" (if) must usually be utilized in the Imperfect Subjunctive. Permit me to give you some examples.
Si pudieras aprender otro idioma aprenderas portugus. (If you were equipped to learn one more language, you would master Portuguese.)
Si tuviramos tiempo estudiaramos ms. (If we experienced time, we would research much more.)
Si vivieras cerca de la playa nadaras todos los das. (If you lived close to the beach, you would swim every day).
Si fuera posible me quedara en Colombia. (If it were being doable, I would remain in Colombia.)
As in English, you can also switch the order:
Me quedara en Colombia si fuera posible. I would keep in Colombia, if it were feasible.
That is the accurate or proper way to use the Conditional and the Imperfect Subjunctive.
