The Tiger Crane 5031 hydraulic & 5031E electric
cranes were designed and built to provide the operator
an enhanced level of speed,
control and safety in the
telescoping crane market.
The 5031 models feature a
winch that is mounted to the
boom to maintain deployed
cable length when booming
up or down. Hex Boom
Design incorporates the
use of high tensile
strength steel for
greater strength and
reduced weight. A double reduction
rotation package provides 400' of
rotation and the strength to rotate the rated lift
capacity up an incline. The closed center rotation section prevents water
from entering the crane tower. The indicator bank provides direct feed
back on crane operation including power on/radio link, overload
condition, and anti two block. An indicator test light switch is standard.
The 5031E uses vehicle supplied 12 VDC to power the
electric planetary winch and hydraulic power unit to
supply fluid to the hydraulic cylinder and rotation
functions. A standard 25' tethered remote is provided for
controls. The 5031 uses a hydraulic planetary winch
that will spool cable up to 70 ft/min. Wireless
Proportional Control features frequency hopping
technology for interference free use. A 33 ft tether cord
comes standard, and can be used instead of batteries, or
in areas where radio use is not permitted.
The valve system utilizes 9 micron absolute
integrated filtration to clean all the
hydraulic oil before it enters the crane,
ensuring contaminant free operation
of valves and motors. The
indicator bank also features
additional lights for
speed and filter
bypass.
