Notes
OF&G have agreed with Soil Association Certification (SACert) that any OF&G registered producer sending stock through a
SACert registered abattoir can have the carcasses stamped with the SACert meat stamp if the carcass is going to a SACert
processor.

The abattoir will not use the SACert meat stamp if the carcass is being returned to the producer for retail sale.

Where the carcass is being returned for local or farm sales, OF&G will provide a meat stamp, on a temporary basis for the
abattoir to stamp the meat. Contact your certification officer.
