At the end of 2013 God gave me a prophecy for the year 2014
THE LORD SAID TO TELL MY PEOPLE THAT THE YEAR 2014 IS THE YEAR OF THE SUPERNATURAL
TURN AROUND. I SAY THIS WITH TEARS IN MY EYES AND THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY GHOST ON
ME, AND THE FIRE OF THE HOLY GHOST BURNING IN MY SPIRIT, 2014 IS YOUR YEAR OF THE
SUPERNATURAL TURN AROUND. THINGS THAT SEEMED STUBBORN IN 2013, THINGS THAT
TROUBLE YOU AND MADE YOU FEEL ALMOST HOPELESS IS ABOUT TO TAKE A TURN FOR THE
BETTER. PSALMS 126:5 "THEY THAT SOW IN TEARS SHALL REAP WITH JOY." YOU SOWED IN TEARS
IN 2013, BUT IN 2014 YOU SHALL REAP WITH JOY. THIS IS THE YEAR YOU WILL BE THE HEAD AND
NOT THE TAIL, ABOVE ONLY AND NOT BENEATH. SHOUT AND BEGIN TO PRAISE GOD IF THE HOLY
GHOST IS BEARING WITNESS TO YOUR SPIRIT MAN.

How to Bind the Strong Man

Luke 11:21-22
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour
wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

Armed: to equip fully (Satan is armed with his demon forces)
Goods: possessions, wealth, and prosperity (marriage, children, friendship, wealth). Satan got his goods from
robbing Gods people.
Peace: a state of national tranquility, exemption from the rage and havoc of war
Overcome: to conquer, to carry off the victory, to subdue, to prevail
Divideth: to give throughout a crowd, to deal out
Spoils: the weapons and valuables stripped off from an enemy, booty, money or loot.


1. Prayer and Fasting

Matthew 17:19, 21
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, why could not we cast him out?
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by PRAYER and FASTING.

Isaiah 58:6
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to
let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Luke 4:1, 2, 14
1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he
afterward hungered.
14 And JESUS RETURNED IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him
through all the region round about.

Luke 4:18-19 (after Jesus fasted He said these words)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath
sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Prayers combined with fasting positions us to receive the power of God in our lives. This empowers us to
exercise authority over Satan and his demons to:
Cast demons out
Loose the bands of wickedness
Remove heavy burdens
Sets the oppressed free
Destroys every yoke


2. Praise and Worship

2 Chronicles 20:22
And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon,
Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Psalms 149:6, 8, 9
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
8 TO BIND THEIR KINGS WITH CHAINS, AND THEIR NOBLES WITH FETTERS OF IRON;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

As we lift our voices in praise, God Himself attacks the enemy
When we praise, the enemy goes into confusion
Through praise and worship to God, we bind the works of the enemy and cripple the activity of demonic
forces.


3. Standing on the Word of God

Luke 4:3-13
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, IT IS WRITTEN, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a
moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me;
and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for IT IS WRITTEN, Thou shalt worship
the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the
Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, IT IS SAID, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
