possible breeding
sites of
mosquitoes

practice the
cleaning up of
possible breeding
sites of
mosquitoes in and
near their home.

1. Provide the family with
information on what
dengue is all about.
2. Discuss with the family the
risks of acquiring dengue
and the possible vector
sites situated in and
around their home.
3. Provide information
appropriate interventions
regarding dengue
prevention.
4. Discuss with the family the
importance of allotment of
time in cleaning of vector
sites at least once a week.
5. Plan with the family
cleanup of possible
breeding grounds and how
often must they be
cleaned according to
location.
6. Continuous follow up on
increase/decrease of risk
of dengue and if member
has been infected.
