I/ Although I have a car, I prefer to travel by train, especially if I have to make a long journey. Through the

III/ HOW TV WAS INVENTED
TV owns its origins to many inventors. But it was the single minded determination of an amateur
inventor, Joln Logie Baird, that led (1) the first live TV broadcast.
Born in Scotland in 1888 and educated in Glasgow, Joln Logie Baird earned a living (2) e spent
most of (4) spare time working on his ideas in his tiny work-shop without (5)
