Lubricants change their consistency, apparent dynamic viscosity or viscosity depending on the mechano-dynamical loads, time, pressure and temperature. These changes in product characteristics may affect the function of a component. Description PARALIQ P 68, P 100, P 150, P 460 and P 1500 are lubricating oils based on high-purity hydrocarbons. They comply with the German food regulations (LMBG, paragraph 30 and 31), and DIN V 10517 on food- grade lubricants. Approvals The oils fulfill the requirements set forth in the US "guidelines of sec. 21 CFR 178.3570 of FDA regulations" and have been registered as USDA H1 products. Application For all oil-lubricated friction points in the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries, e.g. gears, bearings, chains, spindles, joints. PARALIQ P 68 also for deep- drawing of aluminum foils PARALIQ P 1500 also for the lubrication of lifting, drive and conveyor chains. Application notes a) The oils can be applied by means of brush, oil feeder or automatic lubrication systems b) When applied in automatic lubrication systems please observe the maximum viscosity specified by the machine manufacturer c) For chain lubrication PARALIQ P 1000 can be dispersed with approx. 50% special petroleum spirit, e.g. 80/110. Minimum shelf life The minimum shelf life is approx. 60 months if the product is stored in its unopened original container in a dry, frost-free place.
