I am to that I have retired from Railway Service on 30.4.2003 from CAO/C/SC office.

1) The address of residence furnished in the PPO was for Aurangabad as detailed above.

2) I have also paid Rs 7700/- towards RELHS.

3) I have been residing at Aurangabad and my residence is more than 2.50 KM from Railway
Hospital.

4) Since RELH scheme rules are now to pay Rs 100 ( and Rs 300 from 1.9.2008) as fixed Medical
Allowance where Rly. Hospital are located beyond 2.5 Kms from residence of the pensioner.

5) Accordingly, I have applied for Rs 100 FMA to be paid from 1.2.2005 and Rs 300/- from 1.9.2008
in the Rly. Board undertaking format. The bank did not pay me the FMA.

6) Further, I have again applied on 28.12.2011 with Rly. Board No.PC-V/2001/A/Med-1 dated
7.6.2011 wherein it is clearly stated that banks can pay FMA by intimating Pension Sanctioning
Authority.


However the Bank still insists that PSA have to issue authorization in this regard.


Xerox copy of all correspondence is enclosed herewith for your kind reference with a request to
issue authorization for payment of FMA.

2004/2005 and remaining 4 computers were procured in the year 2008.The details of computers
using by the design staff are as follows.

utilized in better way by providing configured systems. More over the codal life of above 5 systems
is completed (>7years). Hence it is requested to replace the old 5 systems with new computers and
also currency of warranty is expired.

In addition to above .Smt.Naga Saraswathi SSE/DRG and Smt.A.Padmaja JE/DRG
are not provided systems. For preparation of Auto-CAD drawings, bridge lists, progress reports,
checking flood discharge and water way calculations etc computers are essentially required for
them.

Hence, it is requested to replace five old computers with new computers along
with two additional computers as explained above including 7 nos of UPS and one A-3 colour
printer for smooth running of Design Wing.

Sub:-Usage of POT-PTFE bearings in PSC Girders.

Instructions have been issued vide item no. 6 of Inspection Note no.
CAO/C/2012 dt. 08.10.2012. of CAO/C/SC during the CRS Inspection of
RVNL works in GTL division regarding use of POT-PTFE bearings in PSC
girders. The same is appended below:-

"It has already been decided that on all Bridges of Concrete girder
spans from 18.30m & above only POT-PTFE bearing and in less than 18.30m
only neoprene bearing should be allowed".

As such, it is advised that while planning works of PSC girder, the above
instructions may be strictly adhered-to.

This issues with the approval of CAO/C/SC.
