The Relation Gender In My Friend The Murderer

Firstly, we have to know that there is no female characters in the story, perhaps
almost all the characters are male. But with this condition, we can reevaluating the work and
the world which the work is read, about why the work has predominantly valued male authors
and their literary works because it has valued males more than females.

Gynocritics means that the study about a woman as a writer, but it is a little different with
the feminist critique. This work is a males work and have no one woman as a sign, so this is
not being a gynocritics
How This Work See The Woman
We were passing the front of the ladies cabin, on our way to the saloon, when out comes a
servant lassa freckled currency she-devilwith a baby in her arms. We were brushing past
her, when she gave a scream like a railway whistle, and nearly dropped the kid. My nerves
gave a sort of a jump when I heard that scream, butI turned and begged her pardon, letting
on that I thought I might have trod on her foot. I knew the game was up, though, when I saw
her white face, and her leaning against the door and pointing.

Her role in this work as a victim that gave effect that the women have no power with the man.
Instead, the description about the women is a freckled currency she-devilwith a baby in
her arms, giving us impression about how the main character define the woman as bad as a
devil and can be connected with this statement: looking for the sins and error of the past.

The work put the man in many roles, and since the beginning the man has many important-
prominent roles: doctor and Mr. Maloney. They have been describing as forger, killer,
murderer, have the powers to intimidate others include the women and the man that from
their gender itself. Their friendship is ended by the murdered one of the prominent character
by other prominent character.
The Effect About All Those Relations
It has described that above the woman there are the mens, who has power can do anything
include doing a violence to the women without being regrets. Since this work is made by
male, we can conclude that this male (writer) portray women as an object that not have any
power to do self-defense.
