DEFINITIONS:

Hit the road:
To leave a meeting/place (because you
just have to); other way of saying "have
to go"...
Aight I gotta hit the road, peace,
later!


Bet (verb, noun):
1 [intransitive, transitive] To risk
money on a race or an event by trying to
predict the result You have to be over
16 to bet.
2 [transitive] (informal) Used to say
that you are almost certain that sth is
true or that sth will happen~ (that)

Chick-flick:
Is a slang term for a film genre mainly

target audience.


Vanish:
1.[intransitive] To disappear suddenly
and/or in a way that you cannot explain.
He turned around and vanished into the
house.
2.[intransitive] To stop existing the
vanishing woodlands of Europe.


Kidnap:
To take sb away illegally and keep them
as a prisoner, especially in order to
get money or sth else for returning
them.


Boobs:
(slang) A woman's breasts.


Take one's own life:
To kill oneself; to commit suicide.
Bob tried to take his own life, but he
was stopped in time.


Temporary insanity:
n. In a criminal prosecution, a defense
by the accused that he/she was briefly
insane at the time the crime was
committed and therefore was incapable of
knowing the nature of his/her alleged
criminal act.





Dig around:
1. To try to find something inside a
place or container by searching in every
part of it.
2. To try very hard to find out
information about someone, especially
when they do not want you to.
They said, after digging around, the
photo was a fake.


On a plate:
Without requiring any effort on the part
of the recipient; In an easy situation;
easily acquired.
They handed him the world on a plate.


Take off:
Leave, pack one's bags.


Hitchhike
To travel by asking for free rides in
other people's cars, by standing at the
side of the road and trying to get
passing cars to stop.
They hitchhiked around Europe.


Sly dog:
A sneaky, devious, or just plain lucky
chap who manages to be sneaky, devious
and lucky in an endearing way. Often
used as term of admiration.
Hugh Hefner is the only man alive
to have slept with Marilyn Monroe,
Barbie Benton, Anna Nicole Smith, and
Pamela Anderson - at the same time! The
sly dog.


Jerk:
A person regarded with contempt, esp. a
stupid or ignorant person.
He silently swore at himself for being
such a jerk.


Screw up:
(pl. screw-ups)(slang) An occasion when
you do sth badly or spoil sth.

of alcohol. The first two are whiskey and the third one is tequila.]

SAM: I swear man; you gotta update your cassette-tape collection.
DEAN: Why?
SAM: Well for one they are cassette tapes, and twoBlack Sabbath?
Motrhead? Metallica? Its the greatest hits of mullet rock.

cake hole.
