word%ress or blog are good values for databasename.
word%ress is a good value for wordpressusername but you should reali$e that, since it is
used here, the entire world will know it too.
hostname will usually be localhost. -f you don)t know what this value should be, check with
your syste+ ad+inistrator if you are not the ad+in for your ord%ress host. -f you are the
syste+ ad+in, consider using a non.root account to ad+inister your database.
password should be a diIcult.to.guess %assword, ideally containing a co+bination of
u%%er. and lower.case letters, nu+bers, and sy+bols. 1ne good way of avoiding the use of a
word found in a dictionary is to use the &rst letter of each word in a %hrase that you &nd easy
to re+e+ber.
-f you need to write these values so+ewhere, avoid writing the+ in the syste+ that contains
the things %rotected by the+. You need to re+e+ber the value used
for databasename, wordpressusername, hostname, and password. 1f course, since they are
already in (or will be shortly) your w%.con&g.%h% &le, there is no need to %ut the+ so+ewhere
else, too.
