Hoositting Want to do Babysitting?

My Entrepreneurship group in Comm School has recently started an online babysitting
platform called Hoositting, which connects awesome UVA babysitters with Cville families
(aka, we're the middlemen).

To kick off the project, we're asking babysitters who are already connected with families in
the area to let them know about the project to help raise awareness. The website is still in
fairly beta stages, but we've already begun connecting babysitters with families by
coordinating most of it manually. So, if you know any families in Cville who need
babysitters, please tell them about our website/tell them to contact
us: http://hoositting.wix.com/hoositting

Additionally, if you are a student looking to do more babysitting, please let us know via
email at hoositting@gmail.com and we can explain how you can build a profile. As we
continue to build up this network, we have families constantly looking for sitters, and
babysitting is a great way to make some quick money while in college.

We did a great deal of market research in the Charlottesville area that indicated that there
are countless families who feel like they are unable to utilize students as babysitters
because they simply do not have a convenient way to reach out to them. We really want to
try and help them out - Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for reading :)

Camp Kesem Needs Volunteers Located in Shenandoah in Millboro Springs, VA
My name is Bethany Bruno, and I am a medical scribe in the UVA ED and an
undergraduate student at the University.

I am involved in Camp Kesem, a student-run organization which coordinates a
free summer camp for children whose parents have or have had cancer. My co-
outreach coordinator, Susie Dixon (cc'ed), and I are currently in search of a
camp nurse, and we wanted to ask if you might be able to help us. The nurse
must be registered in Virginia, and camp will be held August 1-16 at Camp Mont
Shenandoah in Millboro Springs, VA with a staff training and set-up day on
August 9. The position is unpaid, but very fun, with lots of nurse-camper
interaction both in "med corner" as well as around the campsite.

We hope that you will share this fellow opportunity with any nurses who may be
interested. Thank you in advance for your help, and feel free to contact me at
bab3wc@virginia.edu or uva.outreach@campkesem.org with any questions!

Best wishes,
Bethany

Caregiver Needed for Occasional Evenings/Weekends and the Summer
Dear School of Nursing Student(s),

I am a Pediatrician looking for an individual or two that would be
interested in helping with child care. I have two daughters, ages 14 and 11,
and a son who is 9. Recently, my son was diagnosed with childhood epilepsy. He
has not any seizures since the day he was diagnosed, but is now on a medication

first aid and the use of rectal Diastast if he were to have a prolonged seizure.
Also, we are interested in someone with a clean driving record who has a car,

CV and a statement of interest, and then we can set up a time to meet.

Thank you so much!

their needs, we ask that you refer them to Blue Ridge PACE at 529-1300. Our website is:
www.blueridgepace.org. We have a team of professionals that will be glad to share more
information about the PACE model with them, to answer their questions, and assist them in
