Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human
Resource Development, Department of School ducation ! "iteracy, #overnment of $ndia, invites

.a)ahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are co(educational, fully residential schools up to Senior Secondary
level and are located mainly in rural areas/ &t present 012 .NVs are functioning all over the country/
*hey %eing fully residential institutions, the teachers are re3uired to stay in the Vidyalaya campus/ $n
addition to normal teaching duties, the teachers are re3uired to perform additional responsi%ilities
attached )ith residential system of schooling li4e House Mastership, remedial and supervisory studies,
organization of co(curricular activities, escorting of students on migration and loo4ing after students5
)elfare in general/ During the period of pro%ation of the incum%ent performance in all these areas is
also assessed, in addition to the teaching a%ility to determine suita%ility for the 6o%/
