INTERFACING OF NON-INVASIVE GLUCOMETER TO A GSM MODEM AND AN

INFUSION PUMP.

DESCRIPTION: To construct a non invasive glucometer and then interfacing to a

GSM MODEM which receives the signal from the patient by sensing the glucose level
in the body by non-invasive technique and sends information to the doctor or the care
taker who immediately responds to the message and sends the reply to the patient
through the GSM modem for such condition whether the glucose level is high it sends as
to give insulin to the body and if the glucose level is low then it sends the message to
give glucose to the body intravenously this whole procedure is carries out by the infusion
pump which gives insulin/glucose to the patient intravenously and then if the GSM
modem is not responding then it will automatically delivers some amount of the
insulin/glucose based on the preset value. Here PIC controller will acts as the GSM
modem.
