Per la produzione di treccia e trefolo per cemento armato
precompresso, vengono impiegati fili di acciaio ad alta
resistenza derivati dalla trafilatura a freddo di vergelle con
elevato tenore di carbonio
(mediamente 0,82o/o).
La treccia si compone di 2 o 3 fili di acciaio awolti ad elica
intorno al loro asse longitudinale con un passo di
