FROM MUSIC BOX TO NOODLE-MAKER


Three of our AFS students made the news in April. Salisa Salasawat (Thailand), Elem Sahinkaya
(Turkey), and Julia Zeilinger (Germany), participated in a competition at Trillium Charter School for the
Destination Imagination program. They were part of a six-person team that built a time-traveling gadget
they entered in a state tournament held in Corvallis. The contraption they created began as a music box AFS FAMILIES DO
